Tried to fix it myself, but it just immediately fell off again. Even had a hassle returning the ineffective glue to autozone "because it was used". Really? This guy had an electric sander wheel that I think probably scuffed the adhesion surface better than I could do by hand. Didn't take long at all. Nice friendly helper that seemed really happy to be there. He even washed my windshield. Totally reasonable price, which in this town is becoming almost impossible to find for the simplest things. I received a terminal diagnosis from another mechanic for my 1992 Chevy stake bed truck. The other…read moremechanic diagnosed the problem to be the carburetor throttle body, however the part was no longer available and the truck would run. I was about to send the truck to the scrap yard, however I thought it might be possible to rebuild the carburetor so I searched the internet and found Socal. I spoke to Shawn and he recommended that he run his own diagnostic test and I said go for it. Afterwards, he told me that everything points to the fuel pump, although the fuel pump had already been replaced by the former mechanic. Shawn said that he had run across defective fuel pumps. I took one more chance and told him to go for it. He replaced the fuel pump and I finally had a good running truck again. I think I like this guy and he will be seeing more of me. It's not easy to find a business with a staff of this caliber. I had my car's windows tinted here, and after five years of my car being constantly outside I experienced some slight fading. I called them up and was told to bring it down. They happily took it with no questions asked. They kept my car overnight which might seem as an inconvenience to some but this means that they took their time removing the tint from all seven windows and retinting all seven. I know my car was cared for and the job was done right. My car, which was a warrantee job that doesn't pay anything, wasn't pushed through but was seen as a priority and was well taken care of. They not only do an amazing job but stand by their work. I will be back for sure.
