This is my favorite Price Chopper/Market 32. It is a smaller location but has everything I want, even my Hellman's Vegan Mayo. Generally, if I'm shopping at a Market 32 or Chopper, I only shop the sales because the prices are high on non-sale items. I received 4 $8 off $50 weekly coupons in the mail so I have been using those combined with the sales. Thank you for that mailer, Chopper! This store has that beautiful look of the big Market 32 in the heart of Clifton Park, but is not mass chaos like the other one. This one is busy but not so insane that I can't stand it like the other big one often is. I generally avoid the big Clifton Park chopper unless they have something I can't find somewhere else. I cannot stand the kind of crowds they attract. Sometimes you can barely move in there! This smaller chopper is an absolute gem and while I have these coupons, this is where I'll be shopping for the next few weeks! read more

This store is clean and well- lit. Convenient location an employees are generally pleasant. It's a challenge as the layout is different from most Price Choppers, so finding things is harder. What prompted me to write? The packaging in prepared foods. Where's the price? On the BOTTOM! Now, I can see that helps the person scanning at the register, but at some spots in the store, the price wasn't listed on the shelf near the item: case in point: take-away fried chicken. I had to turn the package of cooked chicken upside DOWN to see the cost. I get it, it helps the scanner to have the bar code there, but how about putting the BAR CODE on the bottom and the $price on the SIDE?? Or change your name to Price Dropper? Pretty poor customer service except for the employees who collect shopping carts in the parking lot. No one helps me bag or even lift the bags in a cart anymore. For a dollar off my +$70 bill, big deal, I don't even get asked if I need help. The original staff needs to be paid to come back to train everyone. I don't recommend shopping in Price Chopper and watch out for the broken asphalt in their parking lot. read more

On multiple occasions, I have noticed and taken photos of goods that are way past their expiration date. Weeks, months - even YEARS! Either their inventory software has failed or their employees do not do proper removal of goods off shelves or both. I have seen mouldy produce, wilted spinach a week past the expiration, and dried goods expired in 2018! In addition, they carry multiple selections on certain items and then none in others - Just not a one stop shop. I try my best not to shop here. Oh and the narrow entry and exit lanes and curbed islands should be used as a great example of poor parking lot design. read more

Just had a bad experience with Market 32 on Rt. 146 in Clifton Park, NY that I wanted to alert other shoppers to.... Today I purchased a 12-pack of Sierra Nevada Torpedo Extra IPA. Upon stocking my fridge I noticed that the packing date of this brew found on the carton was May 22, 2018 (over 400 days ago!). This beer's out-of-code date is 150 days after packing date and should be removed from the shelf once that time is exceeded. I called Market 32's beverage distributor, DeCrescente Dist. and they informed me that it's the responsibility of the store to identify and remove any beer product that exceeds the out-of-code date. I went back to the store and exchanged the item for a new one. However, upon retrieving a new 12-pack I noticed of the other 3 packs in the cooler there was another one with a package date of December 18, 2018 (197 days old and again outside of the 150 day age limit). Just wanted to alert folks to beware of Market 32's lack of attention to the freshness of their beers. Drinking old IPA's won't kill you, but it does spoil with age and won't taste like the brewer intended. read more

Wow! After reading the reviews of Market 32, I almost waited to do my grocery shopping (I'm traveling). I decided to go anyway, and I'm so glad that I did. I was able to get a nice little dinner at the deli section and then went on to do my shopping with a full belly (so no weird purchases lol). Produce looked fresh & ripe (picked up tangerines), the store was clean and had all the basics. I also got a few deals which is always nice (saved $10 on a $35 purchase, pretty significant savings. While they didn't have all the quirky brands I like, I don't fault a store for my idiosyncrasies. I've worked damn hard to find cool things all over the country. My expectations are realistic. A bonus that I didn't know about (or I'd have spent the day working there) this store has a Starbucks. Yelp however doesn't list this as a coffee shop location. Too bad, they might get more business. In all, this is a great little market. Definitely stop in if your in the area and need a grocery run. read more

I have not been to this store as a Price Chopper, but I saw that it was one of the first to be renovated as a Market32. I decided to stop in because I needed garlic anyway, so why not? When you walk in everything is brightly lit and the produce section looks great. They have a little food court going, with deli sandwiches, chicken, and sushi. The sections all have nice clear signage. I practically fell in love with the cheese case (so much cheese, and some were on display in a glass box!). The market was still under construction near the bakery, but what I could see, the feel and look was very similar to Market Bistro in Latham. I assume the operations are still the "Price Chopper way", since many employees were still wearing their tell tale uniforms and the prices were still pretty much the same (ridiculous). It's worth checking out if you live out in Clifton Park, but if you live in Albany or Latham, you're not missing out on much if you've been to Market Bistro anyway. read more

Ghetto-Chop (as we have always referred to it) is a glorified convenience store. If you are shopping for absolute basic's it's fine, but if you have anything special you are looking for it's a total waste of time to stop here. It's tiny by modern grocery store standards and although they try hard to keep it spruced up it shows it's age. You also can get stuck with one register open and wait a long time to get out. read more

This is a smaller version of Price Chopper aka Market 32. Easy to get in, and get out. Parking is easy to find, although the whole mall is under renovation so it might be tough for the next few months. If you know what you want, this is as good as it gets. No long wait lines or unnecessary clutter to deal with. read more

Well I do love the store BUT not their FRESDH FRUIT TROPICAL MEDLEY!! AWFUL!! This is the 3rd time I've purchased this! The first time I just wrote if off! The second time I actually sent an email so they would be aware that the fruit was so hard I couldn't eat it! Yesterday I tried again - and again the mango and papaya were hard and not sweet. Someone should be checking the ripeness of the fruit before putting it out for sale! I will not purchase this item again. Very disappointing not to mention a wasteful expense! read more

Ok well everything here is a good price but when we went into the area by the Starbucks I tried to get a drink with a group of my friends and we wanted to see the flavors on the soda machine and what the sprite flavors were and we went to open it and see what was there and the screen was taping right so I tried clicking on it harder and it went to a weird screen. After it went to that screen on of my friends told the worker at Starbucks that we were doing this weird thing from Tik Tok which wasn't true. And we didn't know what happened so he went to the manager of the store to ask what had happened and we went up and was like oh do you have your parents with you blah blah blah. And then we said no but we biked here and then he said well you better bike out of here and back home just because of a slight accident that was unintentional and my friend lied to the Starbucks worker overall it was kinda rude and disrespectful considering it was an accident it is the closest place to get food though but I was not happy on what had happened today and I would not give this place a good rating plus the amount of trash by the Starbucks place and outside it was kinda gross read more

I use to love market 32 but recently i had a little bad situation there including the manager there. There was this thing in tic toc that my friends decided to try out on the soda machine. I told them that it would b funny if it worked but i didn't want to get in trouble if it did. I did t think that it would work so i went inside with them to watch. We get in and one of my friends started it then decided that it wasn't a very good idea. My other friend finished it up and it worked! We couldn't get it back to the mnormal screen so i asked the guy that was working behind the counter at Starbucks. He didn't know how to fix it so he got one of his co workers. That guys couldn't fix it so they got the manager. The manager asked if we were playing with the machine. I said that my friend was. He then asked if our parents were close buy. We actually biked there so i said no we biked here. He then kicked all of us out and i quote "get out of my store, dumb kids shouldn't be here!" I should have said rude or something to kind of defend me and my friends but i just decided to leave which was a stupid choose cause we just let him treat us like crap. My advice DONT mess around AT ALL because the people there aren't usually the best. read more
