Came here for for the first time for lunch on a Sunday. We were a group of five and ordered their pretzel sticks with beer cheese (appetizer), hummus wrap, fish sandwich, chicken fingers, two burgers, and a couple of beers. Total came out to approximately $99 (not including tip). What's hot - Quality. Fairly good. My hummus wrap was yummy and had a good amount of veggies wrapped with the hummus. Their fries are the best part and well-seasoned. Depending on the person, it could be considered overly-salty. Their beer cheese is pretty flavorful, as well. Their burgers are tender, juicy, and a good flavor. - Menu. Decent and short. - Location. Fairly easy to find downtown and there are other businesses and restaurants close by. Street parking is available, which is metered during the weekdays. - Price. With the exception of the sides, which I explain below, it's fairly good value for money, given the quality and decent size portions. What's not - Quality. Their soft pretzel sticks were not as soft as I expected. They were actually harder than I hoped. - Dishes come with potato chips. Their sandwiches come with potato chips. Fries, coleslaw, or salad cost extra. My hummus pita wrap and my friend's fish sandwich automatically come with potato chips, so ordering the fries cost extra. Not cool. This is a matter of personal preference. This is a pub, not a deli, so potato chips should not be an automatic side. - Not many vegetarian or vegan options. There is hummus, a salad option, and a fish option. Very limited, which is a detractor. - Service. One of our family members ordered their burger with no pickles and no mustard, but the wait staff made an error when they entered our order. I understand mistakes happen, but simple things like this take additional time to fix. The wait staff had to put in the correct order and we had to wait longer. Additionally, we had difficulty flagging down staff when we needed things. Their staff are nice, but they don't appear well-staffed. It was not full the Sunday afternoon we were there, so I'm uncertain what a busy time actually looks like. - Layout. For parties larger than 4, it appears they need to put tables together, so be prepared. Final answer Would be willing to return, but not a first choice. read more

This was, without question, one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. Our group simply asked if a few additional people could join us. Instead of even attempting to accommodate us, we were met with eye rolls and obvious annoyance at the mere suggestion of moving a couple of tables. We then asked if we could just pull over a few empty chairs on the patio ourselves, and were flatly told no. The lack of flexibility was disappointing, but the attitude was what made this experience truly awful. When we decided to leave, we politely tried to provide feedback about our experience. Rather than listening or showing even the slightest concern, the employee laughed at us, dismissed everything we were saying, and made disparaging comments about service members. That crossed a line from poor customer service into outright disrespect. Hospitality is about making guests feel welcome. Instead, we were treated like an inconvenience from the moment we asked a simple question. There was no professionalism, no accountability, and certainly no appreciation for customers. We took our business elsewhere, where we were welcomed without hesitation. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a place that values its customers. There are plenty of restaurants that understand what hospitality means--this isn't one of them. read more

Not military friendly. Staff was friendly but management or ownership made clear that you can't put tables together for larger crowd or even bring any other chairs to a table. We had 6 people at our table and they refused to allow the 7th person to pull up a chair to join us. Awful experience when you're trying to celebrate with a group of friends. No remorse and a BIG FAT NO to referring this place to anyone seeking customer service or service that is friendly to military patrons. Food was also excellent, I really enjoyed the BLT and the house made smoky ketchup that came with the fries. Only downside: kitchen was in the weeds and it took over 30 minutes for my food order. Visiting Carlisle for an overnight work trip, Molly Pitcher Brewing was a great place to pop by before dinner. (Though, they also serve food.) When I walked in on a Wednesday in Apri, the bar was full and several groups were dining at the tables. Despite the flow of people, I got a table right away and service was efficient. Wanting only a beer, I ordered the Fuzz Berries (saison). It was refreshing- not too sweet or too sour. read more

I asked for my tuna pita to have the pita bread separate from the tuna. Food arrived wrapped and on a metal basket with paper. Beer served in plastic cups. Carlisle is such a historic place and it's a shame our experience was disappointing with MPB. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Let's start with the inviting and invigorating service. Garrett and Carter were so fun and very informative. We felt valued in this space, and I appreciated that. The space is great for large or small groups. There's indoor and outdoor seating. We went late night on the 4th of July so food wasn't an option. However, to my surprise they make their own seltzers. I love me a good seltzer. That white peace seltzer is delicious and refreshing. The raspberry iced tea seltzer was quite refreshing as well. We loved every moment here. We came on Labor Day, and thankfully, they were open. The wait was short, and we were promptly seated inside, where the AC was nice and the space was very open. My Cuban sandwich with coleslaw was fantastic, with the bread toasted just right, making each bite satisfying. My girlfriend's chicken sandwich had an onion mayo and roasted peppers that took it over the top. This was definitely one of the highlight spots to enjoy in Carlisle. read more

My two favorite beers on tap were "Black Powder Stout," very smooth with dark chocolate flavors and "Peanut Butter Porter," creamy and sweet with some peanut butter and hazelnut taste/smell. This full service restaurant and brewery is a great addition to downtown Carlisle which otherwise features mostly smaller boutique shops and restaurants based on the few times I've been there. We went on a holiday and they were open at 11 and serving a full menu. I had a BBQ pork sandwich and the Cuban also looked phenomenal. Both the bread and pork were very fresh, and the service was extremely friendly. Hope to make it back next time with enough time to try a beer too ! read more

Great food, solid brews, and awesome people. We had a fair share of grub and shared some flights of beer. Juicy double burgers on brioche - bbq bacon is solid with thick cut Smokey bacon. The grilled wings were juicy and fried wings done just right. The crown jewel: the chicken sandwich. It's top on my list of best chicken sandwiches. Smooth NEIPAs, crisp pilsners, lagers, stouts - they do it all. Even have their own seltzer! Inside is a hopping bar well lit bar with music ranging from Johnny Cash to the Misfits. Expect a large beautiful wood bar (with convenient purse hooks), high tops, low tops, and a shaded patio. We were there on a gorgeous day when they had these doors the length of the back open that led to the patio. A gem in Carlisle that has been around for years, but gets looked over. My friends I ate with were two girls who were a white lesbian couple and then my roommate and his girlfriend who were both white. Somehow our waitress gives all The couples at the table single checks, but when it came to me and my girlfriend she gave us separate checks. Now some people would be like that's an honest mistake but I've experienced enough bs to know that wasn't on accident. It was clear we were a couple and our lady server just made it a point to give us two separate checks. I don't condone that so this wont be a great review. Went here on a Friday evening about 4oclock it was prime time to go, not busy at all. It is located in intown Carlisle, so parking could be hard. We, however, did not have an issue finding a spot. We decided to sit outside, and when I said we had the best server, that isn't an understatement. We had Garrett he was full of energy and the sweetest person and great server. I decided on the Tom Collins for $12, my boyfriend got the sample flight of 3 for $6, and my brother got 4 samplers for $10. We got a side of pretzel logs with beer cheese for $6. It came with three pretzel logs and beer cheese. The pretzels were good. However, the beer cheese was a little grainy. I would have liked it to be a lot smoother. Usually I don't like sours because that tartness sits on your tongue too long. This one was subtle and really flavorful. Got the nachos as an app and they were loaded. Beautiful historic building. I got what I didn't expect. First, this is a super close walk to Dickinson, 5 minutes from east campus. The food is delicious. Great I tell you. Surprisingly well done! Wings and their take on tits were excellent!! Outstanding! The beers were ok (to me). I couldn't find one I truly enjoyed more than half a pour. Also a very limited non-beer selection. However, if my beer palate was robust I'm certain I'd be able to find a libation I'd enjoy more. Quiet for a Friday evening but the servers seems attentive. Hello, A professional colleague and I visited today. My colleague had just arrived from Germany and wanted to try a local beer. When we entered the building, there was a bartender who looked over at us, but kept us waiting for a short while. The place was mostly empty. When he came over, he asked is we wanted to sit at the bar. My colleague stated that he'd prefer a table. The man gave us two menus and walked away. We turned to each other in befuddlement and assumed it was open seating. We sat down at a nearby table. After about five minutes, the man came to the table and said that he had told us to go to table 11. I informed him that we hadn't heard that and because he had so abruptly walked away, we had assumed it was open seating. I said we would move to table 11, but as we had already seated ourselves and the place was mostly empty, we asked if we could just stay where we were. Much to our surprise, he quipped to say that we could stay as long as we don't cause trouble. We thought he was joking and we laughed, at which he said that he wasn't going to put up with our attitudes and that we should leave. We quietly left. We are two professionals in our 50s who simply wanted to try a local microbrew. We were not loud, abusive or in any way bothersome. We were shocked. Molly Pitcher is known for rude service, but I have never experience anything quite like this. At 4:30pm on a quite Sunday afternoon, I am thrown out of a bar (or any establishment) for the first time in my life. read more

The grilled wings I ordered were pretty good, but her burger was a disappointment (you can tell a lot about a place by their burger). Prices are out of line, way overpriced. I have never had a sub-par experience here with the food, drinks, or staff. As a Artilleryman Molly Pitcher is an important figure in our history, so I was pumped to try this place especially with a fellow group of Artilleryman and spouses (Many of which have the Honorable Order of Molly Pitcher) Let's just say we never even ate or ordered because the service and attitude of the manager was that rude. We came in with a larger group 10+ and they said "fine...but you can't all sit together because we aren't moving tables." We relented and said we'd sit outside. A couple of us went to move chairs to another table just so we could talk before food came and the manager comes out there and yells at us saying "I told you all you could move tables together." The beers were good and I enjoyed the Patriot and the iIndependence brews. The bacon cheese burger looked amazing. I ordered the pretzel sticks and dipping cheese. They were super fresh and a great pairing to the beer. I don't recommend the dipping cheese much. It didn't have much flavor and the consistency seemed off. I enjoyed the atmosphere at the bar. The trivia cards helped to pass the time. A truly enjoyable evening with friends. I plan to visit again soon. read more

We had a work group of 11 and we asked to sit outside. They informed us that we cannot move the tables and the tables needed to stay in place. We agreed we would not move the tables. We decided to move some chairs and squeeze together so we could all talk. A lady with short brown hair saw us move the chairs and ran over and took the chair out of one of my coworkers hands and yelled saying the chairs had to also stay in place. She was very rude to us so we decided to leave. We had ordered appetizers just two minutes earlier and asked to cancel the order so we could leave. She refused to take the orders off the menu. We didn't argue, we paid and left This was a work function paid by our company and we were blown away by the lack of customer service. I would not recommend this place at all. Good new though, we went to Whiskey Rebellion and they treated us amazing. 10 out 10 recommend Whisky Rebellion. read more

I'm glad they are able to operate during COVID. The tables are well spaced. I felt comfortable and this was my first time eating indoors since last year. The people were very friendly. They have their own beer as well as Diet Coke. We had pretzel bites, wings, nachos, and the BLT. Everything was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place which is in walking distance of Dickinson College. We didn't have a reservation and were able to be seated.
