Over the years Marks has gone downhill. Yesterday was the last straw for me. The chicken wing containers are absolutely awful. They leaked all over my seat. The wings were barely cooked and to top it off I found a sharpie in my wing box. How gross is that? The pizza I ordered had the wrong style pepperoni. That wasn't the end of the world but it WAS the only reason why I ordered from there. Overall, the service was quick and the employees were nice. This pizza was surprisingly good. For those Mormon families driving through during the pageant and all the other food places have hour lines, go here! You can feed your whole family for pretty cheap and it was delicious! We loved it and even had leftovers. The leftovers were yummy too! This pizza cost us $40 read more

Mark's Pizzeria is just ok. My mother and I order Mark's because there really isn't much of a pizza selection in Penn Yan. Mark's pizza is very, very, doughy. If you like a doughy pie, go for it. The dough doesn't have much of a taste, it's very bland. the sauce is sour, and the cheese is fair. I usually have a few slices, but I wouldn't say it's something I look forward to. Mark's wings are delicious, they come close to a Duff's Wings experience in Buffalo NY. I ordered the medium hot, which were very hot, but actually good. The management and ownership are very nice, which adds to my review. Mark's is expensive pizza ... but just average, I ordered 2 medium pie's and a single order of wings, over $30.00. Today was the last straw. I ordered the same BBQ chicken finger sub I always order and have ordered for years since Marks opened. They have my order listed in the computer. They even read the order back to me. When I picked it up, I was a bit shocked to be charged almost $17 for a sub and a coke. They usually give me a discount and its around $14. I also noted that the order was not supplied with chips or pickles as before. I was told they no longer offer chips. As a local business owner I try to spend locally so ok....time are tough and I paid. I get back to work and the sub is missing the sauce and has a chocolate chip cookie melted in the inside of the bag! I don't have time for this but now I'm mad. I return to Marks and I am told that bbq sauce is no longer available and the menu has changed! Why would you make a sandwich for someone when you don't have the ingredients!?!? Sorry Marks, there are better sandwiches and better pizza elsewhere in town for less money. read more

Really solid pizza joint. We got carry out, so I can't comment on the restaurant part or the service. We ordered online and the pizza was ready when we got there. Since we were from out of town, we didn't know what to expect, but ordered their party pizza (32 square slices I believe). The pizza was hot even after a 15 minute car ride home and just the right proportion of ingredients--not too much sauce, didn't skimp on the cheese, etc. The dough tasted handmade, and was nice and thick on the outside part while a bit thinner on the inside squares so it pleased the whole crowd. Very flavorful pizza and I would order from them again the next time I'm around. read more

First of all it is very doughy pizza.... I got half of supreme and half of Hawaiian, taste wasn't bad. Not a lot of cheese but it was tasty with glass of wine. Their buffalo wings are okay also. Okay, so I'm going to preface this review with the fact that I'm a huge buffalo sauce fan, and that's what I'm basing my review on (the Buffalo Blue Cheese pizza). So, we ordered this pizza this past Sunday night as a late night snack / late dinner. We were staying right across the street at the Best Western Vineyard Inn & Suites, so it was super convenient. I had actually had the same pizza in Geneva once, so this is not my first time trying this specific pie. Being that I'm a huge fan of buffalo sauce, I knew this would be right up my alley. I ordered a medium (6 pieces) and it's a bit pricey (~$12.63 (after tax)) and it ended up that the pizza was about half dough and half cheese, sauce, and chicken. So, you're not entirely getting what you pay for here, but then again, you don't really have many choices for decent pizza in Penn Yan. There's maybe a Pizza Hut and then another local pizza chain, which, incidentally, I don't remember it being very good. The pizza itself was temperature hot, especially since I showed up 5 mins. before the 20 mins. estimated that it would take to cook, and they were just pulling it out of the oven and cutting it up when I walked through the doors. So, the pizza was good and spicy, but not too spicy for you spice wimps, and the blue cheese mixed into the sauce went quite well together. Again, my only complaint is that the crust ends up taking up 1/3 of the pizza or more, so you don't end getting much of the good stuff for the price. But, hell, it was tasty, and if and when I'm back in Central NY, I'll probably get it again. read more

Mark's Pizza is exactly like their commercial. They are very friendly. We usually order a Supreme pizza, Parmesan garlic wings and garlic knots. We've had the old style pizza and that has a great taste! The other day we ordered the white pizza and it was great, not too much Garlic. Four stars because it's hard to order some of the meats like sausage and pepperoni because they are very spicy so hard to order for kids.....but otherwise this place is amazing! read more

On June 5, 2022 in the afternoon I ordered 2 pizza's from the brochure I received in the mail. Our family has been a customer for more than 10 years Sunday at 4:30 pm the manager of the store treated me terrible. He ordered me out of the store & if I didn't leave in 5 seconds he was going to call the cops. There was 3 other employees there & witnessed everything that happened. When I got home we had 2 pizza's that were not eatable. They were so over cooked you could not chew them. I am returning them to Mark's in Penn Yan after work tomarrow. We patron Mark's Pizzarea weekly & our son & Grandson patronize Mark's even more. I have been in business for 55 years, I had 7 company's & had 120 - 130 people working for me & I am still in business. My husband and I stopped in today for two slices of cheese pizza. Since we come from Long Island where the pizza is excellent our expectations were not that great. I must say that it was probably one of the top 5 best tasting pizza slices that I have ever had. My husband agreed. The sauce and dough were delicious and the slice size was also huge. Mark's pizza in penn Yan used to be my favorite place to grab pizza, however, not anymore. I am disappointed with their lack of good service over the past several months. The last 4 times I have gone there to get pizza, they have not had any slices available. It is a pizza shop, right???? The time range I have gone in has been varried, but mostly between 11:30 and 1:30 (you know, lunch time). Today I asked to speak to the manager and was told he was busy. I then asked to speak to whoever the manager's boss was, or contact info for that person, and I was also told no. They said they don't give out contact info for complaint issues....really?? Each time Mark's hasn't had slices I have gone to Cam's and gotten slices no prblem. I prefer mark's pizza....but since it is never available, I go to Cam's.
