Enjoyed a lovely Valentine's Day dinner at Torrey Park. Very glad I made a reservation as they dining room filled up immediately. The ambiance is perfect for a romantic dinner. We were seated across from the bar in a cozy booth with a view of the street. Our server was diligent and helpful when we had menu questions. They had a featured Valentine's Day special menu including heart shaped arancini. We went with the regular menu. The service time was paced well and we were done within an hour or so. Loved our pizza appetizer. The wood fired texture was amazing. I had my favorite Chicken French with house made pasta. My biggest gripe here is the lack of a menu on their website. I really want to size up places by seeing their menu, then I can gameplan what to get, if we need to get dessert elsewhere, etc. Anyway - made a reservation for Saturday night. We were sat near the fireplace in low chairs with a normal size table. This was very uncomfortable to negotiate and trying to sit up to eat. Don't know - can we just have a normal table and chairs? Our waitress was also a bartender - said she was new and was younger than other wait staff I saw. She was very nice. Ordered an old-fashioned style drink which was god awful. Not sure if they had their wires crossed there or it's just my tastebuds. Ordered the whipped ricotta spread and the mozz fried planks as starters. The focaccia bread that was fried was very good and the spread added to it perfectly. The fried mozzarella was standard to me. For my meal I went with the chicken parm which is served with rigatoni Alfredo here. I really liked the contrast and the red sauce as well as the white were good by themselves as well as mixed. The chicken had a nice fry to it but the lack of sauce ended up some leftover chicken that I left and didn't finish. For dessert I ordered the NY STYLE cheesecake which really wasn't. Don't get me wrong it was good and I polished it, but it wasn't really the rich dense NY style. We went on a Saturday and were glad we had a reservation. We didn't necessarily notice people waiting to be seated, but they were definitely packed. We were seated right away with our reservation, which you can do online so it's super easy. We loved the beet salad. My husband had one of the specials, which was a short rib pasta. I got the eggplant parm which was well cooked, but the sauce was a bit too sweet for me. We were seated in the front area at one of the two tops with the soft chairs. I could see this being a weird spot for some folks, but I liked that I could see what was going on around me. They also have several options for larger groups. read more

We ate here on a Sunday evening. We had reservations. The restaurant was not crowded. We were seated promptly in a kinda depressing room with no windows and dim lighting. After sitting there for 10-15 minutes with no service, we went to the hostess stand and requested to be reseated. We were then seated in a nicer area in the main area. Our new server was very good...made good recommendations, was attentive, and had a pleasant sense of humor. The food was good. I enjoyed the chicken parm and my husband enjoyed the chicken marsala. Both were large portions with good flavor. Pasta was al dente. There were three or four specials not on the menu that sounded good. Would recommend but the restaurant needs to do spunk up that small room and encourage more attentive, prompt servers. read more

I was here for a large dinner party. I started off with a cocktail from the bar menu, at this point I CANNOT remember the name but it had coconut milk and cinnamon and was delicious! The beans and greens appetizer was amazing. I could have used another piece of bread since the best part of the dish is the liquid that is generated from all of the garlic and oil. I also tried the fried bologna - which was a generous portion, and definitely needs to be shared. I decided on the puttanesca, a usual favorite. For the price with no protein, I didn't love the sauce. There wasn't that level of flavor that I'm used to. It almost appeared that they took their house tomato sauce and added olives and garlic in a quick flash and then added the spaghetti. The garlic was still stiff and sliced as if it wasn't broken down. Maybe I would reconsider and get the eggplant parm next time. I'd go back, just revise my order read more

The Italian dining we experienced at Torrey Park was wonderful. Torrey Park is a nice quiet clean restaurant to experience some delicious food and homemade pasta. Our server was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed homemade focaccia with garlic olive oil and Parmesan while sipping on a local Finger Lakes dry Riesling. My main course of Mediterranean pasta was perfect, full of a bouquet of complimentary flavors and seasonings. My husband enjoyed a quite large portion of chicken parmigiana with rigatoni in red sauce. All pasta is homemade. Our overall dining experience was great. Easy ample off street parking in a quite area of town. We'll definitely be back. read more

In Geneva a frequent question you may get is what is your favorite Italian place? (Pizza same question, different category). Well Torrey Park is my place- it is perfect every time. Sometimes I get the special especially if it includes scallops. The artichoke french is outstanding and I love the fettuccine alfredo. They have a full bar and take reservations. There is a very nice shady patio. The wine pours are not expensive but you can bring in a bottle and pay a reasonable corkage fee. Lynn is our favorite server- she is so kind and attentive. We were celebrating my brother's 50th birthday when in town visiting for the Thanksgiving holiday- so this was the day after. Not very busy, they were able to accommodate our large party. Our server, Kati, was super professional, friendly, and on top of whatever we needed when we were ready to go. I ordered a side of the pasta, along with some of the fried bologna appetizer as my meal. I first need to talk about the bologna. Most people have a strong opinion about it, but this was pan fried, with red wine vinegar and jalapenos. Really caramelized on the flat top, it was absolutely salty and delicious. The heat and acidity from the sauce really made this shockingly enjoyable. I had the Gnocchi with alfredo sauce. It was rich, creamy, and indulgent. Most of our party enjoyed the evening, and also the fact that we could spend our last night together as a family with a great meal together was a nice end of our holiday. The bar area seems to be busier at the time and take-out as it is ready and packed up looks robust as well. We are from the greater Rochester area (now in GA) so we do not make it out to Geneva often- but knowing that there's some gems there that we discovered while there has been an excellent journey for us. Really important to support small businesses these days. Fighting for survival, this is one of the places you want to be supportive of. I'll come back just for the bologna.... I will try to make it at home, but nothing beats that first time you try a dish, and it blows your mind. read more

Well as you know I have to say this is yet again a gem for Geneva NY! We were welcomed at the door by "Moe" super nice lady. She checked on us. Joked with us and made us fell welcome and at home! Thank you so much! This was found on my search with yelp, for something new to try. It had a lot of newer reviews that were at least 4 or 5 stars. I had a reservation, arrived a little early and they took us right in. I loved the look. The atmosphere was a delight at the very least. There were hidden little spots that made it so very cosy. There is a area with a fire place, an area were you can watch the dough being prepared, a main area, a bar area. Loved the look all around including the bathroom! Our waiter was Matt he was very gallant. He listened and he was very polite. He took our orders and ensured there was no rush. He spaced everything out and we felt very comfortable. I was told once by a near by restaurant, that did not like my opinion on our visit, to" Go eat at a 5tar restrant". I have to applaud him because I have found, at least in the last week, 2 five star restuants in the area that I loved and can not wait to return too. So thank you to Bella's owner for the advice! Pleased with the service, atmosphere, couagablity and friendlyness of the staff. Thank you for making my last vacation day such a pleasure without having the leave to far from home. Comes with fresh garlic, oil, and fresh garlic!! So very delishes!! I orderedma ceaser salad. It had anchovies. I never had them before. Do not think I will ever again. I thought it tasted a little salty but thought itbwas the bread. Then the fish smell hit me! Oh no why does it smell fishy! It must just be me. Ate some more then it dawned on me it had anchovies! Lol No not for me. My husband had there steak special. House piece of meat. Cooked perfect. Flavor was wonderful, tender and cook to perfection! Came with fingering potato and broc. This was so very tasty I wish I had ordered it! I had the garlic pizza. It looked and smelled so delishes. Thin as I love. Nice taste but I think I would of liked more roccota cheese. But I ate a piecemand then finished the salt bread we had. I am going to try and eat some later. What else can I say about the fabulous place. We look forward to visiting Moe and Matt again. We had takeout from here and loved it. My husband and I were lamenting the fact that we don't have any Italian this good near us. Favorites were the whipped ricotta with focaccia, chicken parm, gnocchi, and vodka pizzas. Hot peppers on the vodka pizza gave it so much zip. Chicken parm was a huge portion. So, this place is not awful however if you're sensitive to salt, at all, I'd avoid this. Their ambiance is beautiful, it's an upscale modern Italian place and when we walked in I was impressed truly. Our server was wonderful, attentive, generally great all around! It's the food that really tears this place. The food was definitely over salted, to the point where multiple members of our group woke up in the middle of the night with exceptionally dry mouths. It tastes a bit salty when you're there but it's later in the night when it hits you. All in all the food isn't horrible, but if you're not a huge fan of salt I would very much cross this one off for now. read more

1950's style Italian place, done right, nothing wrong with that. We had two of the specials and both were good. The pasta and asparagus were cooked correctly, pasta was part of one meal and it was not overcooked - just right. The Asparagus was part of another meal and was also not overcooked and squishy. Some people like their Asparagus nuked and limp, not me. Asparagus should be slight hard on the inside and green. Eat outside - COVID safe. Frank Sinatra came on the speakers right on queue when the food arrived. As I said 1950 Italian - but that is not a knock - it is done right here - good quality food and tasty. read more

She was nice but wasn't able to give us much attention. Service slow. Were we supposed to get bread? Who knows. The beans and greens was a small mostly bean bowl swimming in juice, probably should have been eaten with a spoon. One of us got chicken parm, which was average. Another of us got chicken French with gnocchi. Also swimming in juice, and was tasty although not as spectacular as expected for $26. the gnocchi, not so much. very mushy and weird. We used to really love this place. We've been back a few times since the restaurant changed hands and each time we've been disappointed. The staff is attentive and lovely. The restaurant is attractive. The food isn't good. Pasta is over cooked, the meatballs are weird and bready. I ordered the chicken marsala tonight because it was something that I used to love at Torrey Park... but it came over some soggy angel hair in a very strange watered down sauce that is nothing like I've ever eaten before. Just for bread you have to spend $3 and you get 6 pieces of bread. We ordered steak dinners and it was over salted and undercooked for $55 per dinner. It was not worth it. Came here for my grandpas 95th birthday and it was very nice, a different set up as the tables are scattered around what looks like a house set up, but its a big place. When you first walk in there is a bar with some tables to the right. Tables were also set up romantically in the front of the place along the front windows. we walked to the left past the fireplace where the Tv hung above it and a nice big comfy couch in front. It did feel drafty and we were here during the winter, so I think the heat could have been a little better. we were sitting a nice big square table with a party of about 8 people. This place is very old, that i'm told, and seemed to be a place that couples and families would traditionally come to. A server came by to a table by the front windows and stated they accidentally sat a family down at a table for a couple they had a reservation for that had been coming there for 55 years. He also said they had gotten engaged at that table so kindly asked the family to move one table over. I thought that was very nice of them. The food was amazing. The olive oil, the bread, the pasta and the cake they brought out for the family was all amazing! I would definitely come here again! read more

We have been going to this restaurant forever. It was my favorite Italian restaurant until last night. This is our first visit since they reopened as we have been out of the state for 6 months. I ordered spaghetti. To get sausage it costs $5 up charge. To get a salad it's $6 up charge. To get bread it's $5 up charge. These extra charges were one thing but the pasta was over cooked - mushy. Couldn't eat it. I used to recommend this place to everyone but not anymore. The facility is beautiful inside but I didn't go there for the view. We were disappointed. read more

We ordered the steak of the night- Delmonico to find out they ran out before 6 pm due to only having 3 available that night... then ordered the sirloin steaks for $28 a steak, the waitress then tells us they're actually $42/steak... so we said if we're spending that we might as well get the Prime Rib she had listed.... Well, come to find out it wasn't Prime rib at all, it was Prime Strip Steak for $42.... Torrey Park hosted a private event brunch for us and I don't feel 5 stars is enough to reflect the amazing experience. First, the food and drink was setup perfectly and was outstanding. Everyone loved it and was perfect for our 60 person group. The staff was on-point, friendly and helpful. The setting of a combined indoor space that transitions effortlessly into an idyllic patio creates the perfect environment for casual conversation and seating options.
