I had the fiesta omelette and it was yummy. The waitress seemed a little irritated at first but I think someone must have called out and it's Memorial Day so it's super busy. She apologized. We came in on a cold Saturday morning around 8:30am - this place was packed! Loved the nostalgic feel of the diner. Service was perfect! Quick service and coffee refills without having to ask. Truthfully, my visit was all about the cinnamon roll. The roll was large and bread-y with icing. Soft and fresh, but lacking in the gooey way. Food was great, service was very good as we had a group of 23. The only problem was at the checkout. My bill was $20.68. I gave her $40 but only got $11in change. The bus had pulled out so there was no chance of asking about it. Next time I will use a credit card. Lesson learned. read more

Good place, but small & crazy busy! Waited almost an hour for my to go order. Hostess was friendly and apologized for my wait and personally got my order. We got 2 hamburgers (everything on the side so you chose what goes on it) and the appetizer chicken tenders w/ honey mustard. All good but you can definitely tell the *burgers were previously frozen and have that charcoal flavoring added on them. No complaints about the chicken tenders and honey mustard. *I stand corrected, they use a charbroiled grill and burgers are not the frozen kind. read more

Absolutely disappointed beyond belief in this "family" restaurant. My 18 year old daughter and I went in for breakfast this morning and the service was great until we went to pay. We voted this morning and had our voter stickers on and the man at the counter had the audacity to ask if we voted left since they were on the left side. I shrugged and said no and his response was "oh you're in a he cult and voted for the rapist"! First of all, it's none of this employees business who we voted for! Second, it was my daughter's first time voting and this really bothered her to be shamed! Third, how unprofessional can you be!?!? You don't talk about politics to your customers! This is unacceptable! We will never be back and I will scream from the rooftops to everyone I know. I have many many friends here who patronage this restaurant and I can almost guarantee that none of them will ever be back! read more

The food is good for typical diner breakfast. Coffee was good. The service AMAZING. The waitress we had today went above and beyond. She noticed I had ordered incorrectly. Completely my fault and I did not even mention it to her and she had the kitchen make another omelette for me. Asked for eggs over easy each time (you know, with runny yolk). Got basic hard boiled results three times in a row. Had to have bacon sent back. Had to ask to have the bread brought to me to go back to actually be turned into toast. I don't know if the kitchen staff can't read, don't read, or just don't care but I'm done here. It's not worth the aggravation & Moms cafe gets it right and charges the same basic prices. read more

There were several servers, but our refills of coffee were a little slow. This was a rare opportunity to dine. I was probably the youngest person here by 20 years. But I could tell that there were a lot regulars that got along well with the waitstaff. Whenever I watch a movie with the actors sitting in a dinner eating breakfast or lunch, it looks so relaxing and inviting. Unfortunately, diners are harder and harder to find. I was so happy to find this place. The menu had lots of interesting options and breakfast was available all day. The food was very good. The mashed potatoes were real, not the instant potatoes you get so many places. I had the Country Fried Pork Cutlet which had good flavor and a very good gravy. I really wanted breakfast, but decided against it so I would have a reason to return soon. It did seem a bit overpriced for a diner. Also, in this time of pandemic, the largest portion of the restaurant was unoccupied. There was plenty of room to space people out, but we were all crowded into the same area. During normal times, this would be fine, but I think they could have spread people out a bit during these tough times. read more
