Service: our servers Nia, was amazing. Very patient when we were deciding on drinks and food. Not pushy, allowed us to enjoy the time, space and food. Adam the bartender was great too. Food: AMAZING!!!! We each ordered different items so we could sample more. The breakfast charcuterie is so tasty, blueberry cheese was soooooo good. Jam, breads and meats. I ordered the chicken sausage biscuits and gravy with fried chicken. Very different take on biscuits and gravy, salty, savory, textured and delicious. Atmosphere: the ambience here was so chill. Playlist was perfect, great R&B vibes. The decor is beautiful and very spacious.

A restaurant with a butcher market in the same building doesn't have burger patties. Huh? I'm sure you're wondering where the punchline is. Surely this is a joke right. Uhhhhh... NOPE. Tried going for brunch. We were seated at 1:45. I had to go up to the host a little after 2:00 (MORE THAN 15 minutes after being seated) because no one had come up to us. The host was apologetic and came by to give us water. Our waitress finally arrived a couple minutes after. Not a great start. I had my eyes on the burger. Literally why I came to this place. When our waitress showed up, we thought it was best to order food based on how slow it had been. I was told they were out of the burger so I said I needed a minute. I was a bit confused how they could be out of that. When our waitress came back after about 5 minutes, I asked why they couldn't make the burger. No patties. They didn't have patties. I actually laughed in her face. What a ridiculous concept. There is an actual butcher shop owned by MARROW right next door. It's in the SAME BUILDING (see photos). THEY HAVE THE PATTIES THAT GO ON THE BURGER. LITERALLY A TWENTY SECOND WALK. We left after being told that. The idea that they ran out when they are literally selling patties in the same building is asinine. Nice job Marrow in the Market. Really solid experience.

I've been twice and I'm looking forward to my next visit. The location is gorgeous, I enjoyed my meal on the upper level. The butcher shop and bar is located on the 1st floor. I've done brunch and enjoyed the special menu dedicated to Vernors birthday celebration. The place has yet to miss.

Marrow at the Market is another treasure of Eastern Market! Nice menu choices! We each chose their Namesake Marrow Brunch Burger double patties w cheese Avocado and jam, had to use knife and fork ! Truly was amazing after enjoying app of Deviled Eggs, 6 half's were amazing!! Truly wonderful, our first and certainly not our last!!

So, I really enjoyed myself soaking in the atmosphere and people watching. I do not eat beef or pork, so that narrowed my selections down tremendously. If you are someone who has a lot of dietary restrictions I wouldn't recommend coming here. What I did get I thoroughly enjoyed...the yogurt parfait and the pumpernickel bagel. I'm hoping since the brunch portion is newer, as it starts to get more traction they'll add more dietary inclusive items. As I watched others food come out everything looked amazing. I'd definitely go back to try their lunch/dinner menu. As well as to see if they expand their brunch menu. My favorite part is how open and bright the dining areas were!

We have enjoyed dining at Marrows inn Kercheval. A friend suggested Marrows in the Market Atmosphere is light Jazz vibe in Loft like setting Which I Loved Lunch is served the Bar. 1st come. We arrived about 12:20 at that time we were 1st to have come. Hanna is the welcoming knowledgeable staff person that gave excellent service. It's like we were meeting a bee friend. Now the food. We'll sized portions. We had Roteriasse Chicken seasoned with a small hint of spice. Tender and THROUGHLY done the Lunch portion it came with rice Yummy well seasoned and sliced pickled cumbers The Salad was our next selection. May I just say a MUST have. The plates remind me of vintage European ware. I didn't take photo of the hand washing area. It's unique AND REAL CLOTH HAND TOWELS. Hanna told us a Brunch menu is starting this weekend...

Went to Eastern Market to take part in the Vernors Anniversary celebration. While walking around attempting to get out of the rain and possibly get something to eat we happened upon Marrow. What a find. Quite delightful. The restaurant is upstairs above the market. Accessible via elevator or stairs. It was very busy, they had a special menu featuring items made with Vernors. We did not have a reservation. The staff accommodated us by squeezing us in between reservations. We promised we would be finished before the guests arrived. The service was quick the food was delicious. We made it out as promised and we were not rushed. Everyone in our party agreed we will return. I will be returning for the chicken and waffles. They ran out by the time we'd gotten there. I was informed that their Brunch is quite popular. I would say the decor/ feel has a chic minimalist hip vibe . I walked around and viewed their event space. Took note as it would be a really nice place to hold events. I particularly liked that you could wash your hands without entering the lavatory, very convenient. I could go on but I'm writing a review not a book. Give it a try and then walk around Eastern Market.

We went impromptu for brunch and had a lovely time. The atmosphere is so nice and sunny! The staff was very helpful and the chef even came to greet us. The food was delicious as well. My favorite was the brunch burger. Love that they source and collaborate with other local businesses. You can tell there is a lot of intention in the space and the menu. Can't wait to come back for dinner.

So accommodating - we showed up way to early for our reservations on Saturday morning expecting to be turned away (we were really early). The upstairs dining is beautiful. We wondered what this building was used before. I've been going down to Eastern Market for years but never ventured to this corner. Our server was great and the floor manager was a delight to talk to. Now the food - as I expected, lived up to its reputation and more. We headed downstairs hoping to score some of the cheeses that we had. I will be back for sure. I see a stop for dinner soon.

Everything was made from scratch and absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, and the space itself was beautiful. It's a bit of a hidden gem since it's not right in the heart of downtown. Tallow fries are my favorite

We went on a Monday night. When I made the reservations, they offered "standard" and "Paella Night." I figured it was going to be paella no matter what and I was right. Monday nights are paella nights. I expected only seafood paella, but they also offered Valencia (pork, chicken, and sausage) and cauliflower paella. The paella was very good. The sausage was especially flavorful. The pork ribs were well-rendered which I appreciated but a bit dry too. Since it was their first Paella Night, I'm sure they will tweek this. (Thought for the kitchen: partially submerging the ribs in the broth/rice might help keep them moist.) Cocktails were strong and on point, the appetizers were appropriately sized, and parking was easy. Staff was friendly and the venue is elegant. I'm planning to go again. Will try the stardard menu which I hear is much more varied.

If I could only eat at one restaurant in Detroit for the rest of my life, it might just have to be Marrow in the Market. The waitress was not only super friendly, but extremely helpful as we were a party of 8 and it was all of our first time being there. I started off with an espresso martini (one of the best I've had in the city). We ordered a few starters which included the Bread Du Jour, Twice Baked Potato, Baked Brie, Market Wedge Salad, and the Roasted Heirloom Cauliflower. All were exceptional and perfect! For entrees, we had the Bone-In Short Rib, Picanha, Smoked Half Chicken, and Dry-Aged Pork Chop. All of which again, were exceptional and perfect. It's in a great location and it's beautiful in there. All of the staff were kind and helpful. I cannot say enough great things about Marrow in the Market, so if you're looking for a spot to treat yourself, I highly, highly recommend!

Loved my experience for a birthday dinner at Marrow in the Market with our group of friends. We had a party of 10 and everyone from the host to the kitchen was extremely friendly and accommodating. Jessica our server had amazing suggestions (the espresso martini was amaze) for both food and drinks. Great menu and portions for sharing with other people. We had the Caesar salad, rotating butcher cut which was an 8oz flat iron steak, pork chop, charred broccolini (my fav) and frites. Some of our group indulged in the bone marrow (they said was do flavorful and rich), the walleye and bone in short rib. Everything was delicious, cocktails great flavor and were well balanced and the marrow in the market team was beyond accommodating. Cannot wait to go back and try the other half of the menu! I've heard great things about the chicken

One giant raise for her, please, thanks. At least 10 extra dollars an hour. I got the uhhh. Brioche... something. Basically fancy French toast with caramelized apples on top with a really good whipped cream. Super good. Might start caramelizing apples for French toast all the time now. My friend got the duck slow cooked in oil, forgot what it's called. But I tried a piece and it was really good too. Oily, but that should be expected of something submerged and cooked in oil. First time trying duck, and I think it's more fatty than chicken, so that probably contributes as well. Still good though. The lemon financier was good too, reminded me of like a lemon pound cake if you aren't sure if you'd like it.

Our server was very welcoming and helped to set up our food order into courses that allowed us a very relaxing evening Cocktails were really good. I had a Last Word and it was very well done. The restaurant is decorated very nicely with warm wood trim. The bar area looked stellar and very French-bistro like. I will sit there next time No so Highs Food was good, but just OK. Between the two of us we had the beet salad, burger and steak tartare. Burger was good, but not the best smash burger that I've had. Beet salad was fine, however the cream cheese was a bit overpowering against the orange oil. It was dying for some citrus. Steak tartare was a bit dry, meaning that a small dab of olive oil would have added to the richness and overall mouth feel. I did not really taste the egg although I did see a dab of yolk on the tartare. Needed a bit of salt also to enhance the taste Menu was small, but it did cover a cross section of French bistro dishes. All in all, I thought it was a bit overpriced. So I will have to consider returning for a full meal. I would come back for a burger and beer at the bar.
