Nothing really good to say about this place. My daughter and I went there on Sat. night, Feb. 2. We were staying in the area for mother/daughter night away. We got there and noticed it was very small place, and most people were 65+. No problem. We waited for a table, again no problem since it was a Saturday night. After we got seated, we NEVER saw a waiter again. It seemed as though there were a lot of regulars, and they all wanted to chat with the waiters. I was tapping my fingernails on the table and clearing my throat to no avail!!! Of course they couldn't hear me because people were hacking badly at 3 of the tables around us, and not even covering their mouths!!! After 25 minutes and no chance of a waiter at anytime we walked out pretty pissed off!!!! Even if they did come over and take our drink order, the bartender was being a waiter, so no one to make them anyway! Will Not be going back ever!!! Totally disgusted with the place!!! read more

So first off, we are a big fan of Marshland on 6a so when we heard it was taking over the old sweet lemons building, this at least softened the blow. We LOVED sweet lemons! We had breakfast this morning at Marshland 3a and were completely underwhelmed! The food is completely mediocre. My eggs were just about over cooked, the home fries a little salty, but the largest infraction was with the corn beef hash. I am a hash connoisseur, so I always order it provided its homemade! So I asked our waitress ( who was nice enough but without personality, might as well be at the blueberry muffin down the street ) about the hash and she confirmed it was in fact homemade. When it came out it was visually evident that it was canned. I grew up on the stuff, the tiny potatoes chunks, the overly salty pink slime, it's Hormel! So maybe it's just a matter of educating the waitstaff, maybe she legitimately thought it was from the grill and not from a huge can that says Hormel or Sysco on the side of it. Either way, disgusting. The word on the street is the same, very mediocre, disappointed so far. Maybe the lunch menu will save Marshland 3a, we will have to give it a try. read more

We ordered our Thanksgiving dinner from here and took it to our holiday celebration in NH. It was outstanding! We recently relocated to Plymouth and have only eaten here one other time but it was an equally successful experience. They are now on our short list of restaurants for dinner. read more

Friendly staff and great portions for a fair price. They have something for everyone. I personally am a fan of their prime rib and cobb salad. Their clam chowder is also great. I pick up pies for Thanksgiving this past year and will do so for years to come (have to order a few more since they went so quickly!) read more

This place is the unsung hero of Manomet. Breakfast is just what you're looking for whether it's an omelette waffle or whatever. Grab a club sandwich here for lunch... but the real killer is the dinners. Yankee pot roast... pork chops... all the stuff from childhood that you thought was gross but secretly loved. so this is a normal dinner, not fine dinning...the food was GREAT the serving size generous, I had baked seafood HUGEI couldn't eat it all even though it was so tasty. My husband had chicken picate' with linguine it was very good as good as the Milepost ...the staff was friendly adding an extra roll with my 'doggy box' we will go back. Mediocre at best. Overpriced. Order their homefries and you'll basically get 2 whole potatoes quartered and cooked 50%. I speak this from the last 4 orders I was foolish enough to make. I've even had the luck of an omelette coming out 1/2 cooked and oozing. Some waitresses are great, but there are a few that may have had a lobotomy. Basically good for people with zero tastebuds and a penchant for plain, bottom quality food. read more

When a business opens up in a small community and gives folks an opportunity to make a living or support their family or get their first job, that's a good thing. To talk about the employees of this restaurant in such a degrading manner is just mean ! And to wish bad things on any business is not very nice. Your comments are full of bitterness and I hope the kids who work there trying to put themselves through school, and the single mom who needs this job to pay for her sons doctor bills or even the dishwasher who is just learning the business, doesn't take any heart in what you have said because people are struggling in this country to make ends meet and any business who dares to open in this economy deserves support and encouragement . I am mortified to hear such rude comments and I think you owe these people an apology ! Worst experience ever took forever to get are meal which was wrong . When am we asked for a manager there was none the waitress couldn't even tell who the owner was. When another group came in and asked for bakery items and it ice cream they were told they don't serve that anymore even though there sign clearly stated they served ice cream and bakery items. My coworkers and I work evenings at a large business close by. We regularly put together a list and order out dinner from Marshland 3A. Although some items are fine, we are finding more and more often that the quality of the food is lacking and the staff is almost guaranteed to get your order wrong if you ask for anything different than how the meal is normally served. (Fries instead of chips, dressing on the side, sandwich instead of wrap, ect...). We have generally stopped ordering from Marshland 3A not just because of the food, but because of the staffs incompetence. Try one of the other local businesses instead. read more

First, I am betting that the less-than-favorable reviews posted here probably originated from friends of some of the other restaurant owners in Manomet who must be experiencing a sharp drop-off in business since the Marshland opened its doors here. For years we locals have lamented the lack of good, clean, professionally-run restaurants here. All we wanted was a little creativity on the menu, consistent quality and a welcoming staff. FINALLY, we have one, Marshland 3A. Thank God. The lot has been FULL every night since they opened and for good reason. Servers (and there are enough so that there are no lapses in service or frantic employees with attitudes) are actually FRIENDLY and smiling. At least one of the owners is on-site every day making sure everything is done right. It makes a difference. Meals are affordable enough to make it possible to go there a couple of times a week. The specials are delicious (I love the pork loin for dinner and the Bagel McNagle is my favorite choice at breakfast) and there is never a problem if we want to substitute something or have a special dietary request. FInally, the place looks better than it has in years. It's obvious the Marshland is here to stay and we locals will be there to support it after all the summer people go home. read more
