My TPS light came on as I drive home at 5:00 pm. I called and spoke with Lance. He told me to bring in my car. Brian helped me once I arrived. He reviewed my tire and processed my work order. He also gave me a price and explained that the tire may not be repairable. The price was fair I thought (less than $30) and my car was ready in about 30 minutes. Martin Tire saved my evening and allowed me to enjoy the rest of my evening. I will definitely return for other tire service in the future. I got a nail in my tire and I went on Monday. The gentleman said it would take "at least an hour" to get me in! There were 3 bays open and a ton of guys hanging around. I called my husband and he said he'd take it in for me the next day. He took it in the next day and it was just to take a nail out. There were 0 cars in the bays. 5 men were hanging out. My husband was confident it wouldn't take long. They took my car in and he waited AN HOUR AND A HALF. An hour and a half to take a nail out. We will never come here again. Pretty good service here. They also didn't take long to fix my tire (about 20 minutes). The process was much quicker than I thought! I ran over a nail recently. The orange low air pressure light immediately came on in the car. I was kind of freaked out because I was almost getting on the freeway! I hate getting a flat tire on the freeway. Been there, done that and it's not fun. I'm so glad I caught it in time! My boyfriend would've helped me with this but who wants to inconvenience someone when it's unnecessary? I can change a tire myself. I kind of struggle with the jack and all of that good stuff so I'd prefer not to. The lady who helped me was friendly and helpful. I don't like that I was told I need new tires but that's how life is. Asi es la vida! (Shrugs shoulders). Although it was only $15 to fix the tire here, Discount Tire does it for free. They were already closed so I wasn't able to go over there. $15 isn't bad and definitely beats buying a new tire but...free is always better. Would I come back? I think so. I brought my car in because I was having some issues with my steering wheel shaking when my car was traveling over 60 mph I was overdue for an alignment and wanted to have the experts take a look at the work that was done was very good however, it was very frustrating dealing with the sales person at the counter. Initially, he had said that they would do a complete analysis said he would let me know every step of the way the status. That was not done, he called me an hour after I dropped off the vehicle and said that they coils not find the lug nut key so I told him where to look in the car and I didn't hear back from him until almost 5:30 PM, I had dropped the car off at 1pm , I was irritated because the sales guy didn't keep me posted as he said he would , Iam the one who picked up the phone to get status , I called snd he said they could not do the work, because they never found the key , my complaint here is why did 3 and 1/2 hours go by before he contacted me to let me know ?? so the expectation that my car was getting worked on was completely wrong when I asked him about what the mechanic had found , he said he could not answer any questions, and stated because he is not a mechanic I think the customer support was very poor on his part , he could've picked up the phone and called me after they could not locate the key but my car literally sat there for 3 1/2 hours not being worked on and it was a total waste of time. I did find the lug nut key and took it to them the very next day , when he contacted me letting me know, the vehicle was ready I asked him what was found and he kept reverting back to the statement of "I'm not a mechanic "I cannot answer that question and thought the communication level from this sales person, Jose was very poor, and it was frustrating dealing with him when the car was finally ready I picked up the car and spoke to the mechanic who worked on the car and he was very helpful. He answered a lot of my questions and concerns and we even took it for a test drive and I was very pleased with the work, but dealing with the sales guy was very frustrating.and if I had to choose it all over again, I would definitely deal with the mechanic rather than get the runaround and get excuses from the counter sales guy, in a business, you are supposed to be a team and communicate effectively between the staff members and that was not done , I do not blame the mechanic everybody else there was wonderful and I ended up purchasing new tires and I'm happy that I'm going to deal with Martin Tire Lee again, but very displeased with the experience on the salespersons part. read more

A huge thank you to the staff here. Their hospitality and kindness was greatly appreciated on the early morning of 08/01. I had been hit by debris on the freeway that morning and my front right tire blew. We showed up at this location 10 minutes before they opened. They were very gracious to get us in when they opened and offered coffee and a place to sit. I was very shaken by the events on the freeway and all staff said that as long as I was ok that's what mattered. Excellent, friendly service. Decent prices. My advice, get the warranty with your purchase. They will replace the tire for free (within conditions) and all you owe is the cost of the new warranty. That alone has been worth the cost for both my vehicles. They will check your tire pressure for free and adjust as necessary. I listened to see how other customer service reps treated the other customers, they were all treated equally, friendly and knowledgeable about their product. You pay for what you get. They never keep their word in service. Bought a set of tires with alignment last yr they didn't even last that long. In the 2 months the car started going sideways. And shortly i knew that my alignment warranty had expired in six months. I continue driving the car like that and my tires then started getting worn out on the inside when i took it to them they told me they couldn't replace my tires under warranty that because i had hit a curve or something. I seriously don't even know where they got that from because i clearly remember never hitting any curve. The tires still had warranty. It was such a rip off. They make stuff up just to not cover warranty. However a yr later I bought tires again from them because i needed them. And there cheapest I found. I walked in at 5:10 pm and they didn't wanna do me the alignment then. When i asked well what time they close was till 7 pm. So I see that as a refusal of service just because the alignments tech wants to leave early? What type of service is that? Aren't they open till 7? This time imma play them smart. I'm taking my car every 2 months for the next 6 months under warranty on the alignments have it as straight as possible for the six months that they cover under warranty. Will see who hits a curve then... I really don't recommend this business to no one.. read more

Don't waste your time at the Montwood shop if you need an alignment, went by at about 1pm, was told they were backed up and scheduled me for a 3pm appointment. Took the wife's SUV at 3pm for the appointment and was told it would be ready at 5pm at closing time. Went back at 5pm still had not even started on my vehicle and offered to align it after hours, I declined and took my vehicle. I waisted my whole Saturday when I could've taken it elsewhere. Never have I bought a set of four new tires to only last 10,000 miles. Spent 900 dollars for tires and alignment. Set out to travel from EL PASO to Albuquerque with my family. Tire blows out and the other one on the rear about to do the same on I10 late at nite. Had my wife and kids with us. Had to spend the nite in Los Lunas. Went to Big O tires. They told me tires were bad and whoever did the alignment didn't do it right. 900 dollars later I'm buying new tires and another alignment in Los Lunas. Called manager of Martin Tires on Lee Trevino. I had a terrible experience with Martin Tires never again will I set foot in one of their stores or recommend to anyone. I needed my vehicle aligned and what started out as a 30 - 40 min job and $69.99 ended up being two days and over $400. They kept saying my vehicle needed other repairs or the alignment would be useless. They returned my vehicle with a terrible shaking /vibration and still pulling to the left. The second day they had my vehicle to fix the issues it has after they worked on it now turns out to be a CV joint that was broken. My vehicle was promised ready at noon when I show up it's still up and taken apart. The assistant mgr states they have a problem out of their control and can't remove the CV joint. I told them to put it back together I needed to go to work. I walked out called my mechanic which unfortunately doesn't do alignments which is why I ended up at Martin Tires. I explained the issue he said bring it to me. Even under pressure because I needed to go to work he fixed it. He test drove it said it's still pulling to the left. I said I know but Martin Tire says no it doesn't. I paid for an alignment other repairs not necessary and got my vehicle back with shaking/vibration it never had to begin with and still pulling to the left. DO NOT SHOP at Martin Tire NOR GET new tire warranty insurance. They will make up any reason not to replace your tire and void your warranty. I purchased 4 new tires and had one replaced at the Transmountain store with no hassles. Today, I took my car in to the Lee Trevino store as that is the only store that had my tire. I had gotten a flat tire after going through a pothole. The attendant told me they could not honor the warranty because it was showing bad alignment and I had driven the tire flat. I told him I have proof that my car was aligned at the dealer and I drove my car farther last time I had it replaced by them at their other store. Manager's response, "that's why the other manager is no longer there." BAD customer service. I don't have time to hassle with this type of company. I told them they can keep their $180 dollars for my tire replacement, but they will never replace myself, family members and friends purchasing power!
