Had dinner here on a busy Sunday evening with our small group of 4. Place was packed and we had to wait 30 minutes for a table. Not a problem. We left our name with "Sylar" (?) at the front door and she texted us once our table was ready. We walked in and were immediately seated at a table with ice waters at the ready. Jeremy our server appeared within less than a minute of our having been seated and took our drink orders, making some great recommendations off the drink/food menu for starters. We had 2 extra dirty martini's and the males chose beer after a long day of winery tours, we were ready for a change in flavors. When he returned with our cocktails, we were ready to order and wanted the 3 tier tower with our starters. Jeremy stopped us from and let us know one tier was quite a bit of food and if we made it through the 1, he would gladly bring us another. Two women and 2 men and there would have been no way we would have finished that and we would have been upset that this fact wasn't pointed out to us prior to ordering so we were thankful. We had ordered 2 lobster bique and a dozen oysters on the half for starters so it was a good thing Jeremy helped us out. Having been raised in S. Texas, we went with the gulf oysters and could not have been happier. The set up with the horseradish, red sauce and Mignonette was awesome. Our group all were content. Jeremy was quick on the 3 bite check back, making sure everyone had what they needed and wanted for nothing. Jeremy had a great attitude about being so busy and was tending multiple large groups at a time. No one table was ignored that we noticed. He was a mover! Quick to return with drink refills, any additional requests, and checking in but not to the point of intrusion. Spot on. The seafood tower consisted of lobster tails, fresh shrimp, another round of gulf oysters on the half with a full set up and several snow crab clusters. We ate til we were stuffed. Then Jeremy coaxed us all into desserts. Bourbon pecan pie, and Creme Brulee. Possibly the best creme brulee any of us had. The top was not to thin and was carmelized to perfection with the lovely custard creme inside so smooth and warm it melted in your mouth. The Bourbon pecan pie was absolutely the best. The pecans tasted fresh shelled. I can't attest that they were but they definitely tasted fresh and not store bought. The translucent custard bourbon filling was smooth and not cloyingly sweet. Everyone had a bite of each and agreed these desserts were noteworthy. This place is a definite do over any time we are in town. Casual setting yet upscale dining. Will be back in April for our son's wedding and we definitely will ask for Jeremy. I recommend you do as well. Would have been a better review with photos, but we were all having so much fun, we completely forgot. You will have to go see for yourself. read more

While cruising the Texas hills and prairies in our land yacht my family and I came across this fair harbor of flavor. The bounty was a plenty as we devoured some extremely fresh gulf coast oysters, and oysters Rockefeller for starters. The bar was full of other sea dogs and salts all enjoying the mixologists tipple. Our main feast consisted of both the lobster and spicy lobster rolls, wedge salad and a lobster plate. Everything was nicely executed and beautifully presented. The more than adequate servings of lobster in the rolls were delightfully flavorful. The galley is quaint and classy, but not stuffy. Martini's crew are inviting and friendly. We highly recommend anyone with an inkling for crustaceans and shellfish to visit Martini's. read more

Loved this place! We found a spot in here on Saturday night and loved the atmosphere. Super cozy. They had some amazing live music when we were there as well. We ordered several oysters, martinis and a little salad. They have a full bar and tons of wine and beer options as well. Would love to come back sometime and try more of their menu offerings. I was really looking forward to eating here for my birthday, but the entire experience was super underwhelming and overly expensive. Service was slow, our waitress was very preoccupied and barely came over to check on us. We had to flag down other servers and bartenders to help us multiple times. We ordered the oysters, which were extremely small, tasted dirty and it was $60!!!!! We then ordered the lobster Mac n cheese which came out cold, then was microwaved in the back after we complained. This was another $34. I got the tuna steak and it was completely raw even though I asked for it seared. My boyfriends lobster roll was soggy and unseasoned, this was another $40.... I will say the drinks were good, but for $230, this place does not live up to its standard. Overall, not happy with my experience and will not be returning. Go somewhere else! First of all, Fredricksburg is not worried about COVID and masks are optional all along the strip. Just FYI and be prepared. I went to about 10 eating establishments and only the donut shop wore masks. Now Martini's. Small inspired bar with limited seating. 8 seats at the bar, one large family style table that sits about 10-12, and about 7 four tops. None of the staff wears masks currently. It has a proclaimed oyster bar and excellent seafood. The drinks at the bar are amazing, I really liked the Whiskey New Fashioned. The taste of the food is spot on and amazing. The flavor takes you on a journey. The steak, lobster, salad, and asparagus were incredible. This is easily one of the best restaurants in the area when it comes with flavor profile. However, the wait staff was interesting. As we were waiting I asked a large party if it was worth the wait, and they said, "yes, the food is great but one person was completely over looked and didn't get their meal to almost the end". The only reason I say this is because they forgot my wife's wedge salad and my oysters, and the table next to us, another person was completely over looked and their order was lost. They only had two waitresses serving 26 people. Also, the price is crazy. My filet and lobster was not worth $74. I was still hungry. I've been to many different costal restaurants on the south and east coast, and I was given twice the food, better quality, for half that cost. I think they are attempting to capitalize on the poor food choices in the area, which is understandable. Let's also get real with the oyster bar. Oysters were amazing and delicious. However, super tiny and they didn't taste any different from the previous. They advertise Gulf oysters, Connecticut Blue Point and Summer Love (Prince Edward Island). But they are smaller then what I'm use to when I eat Gulf oysters and Connecticut Blue Point oysters when I visit the NE. So I was disappointed. If you've visited an oyster bar up in the NE and that's your expectation, just be prepared. This is not an oyster bar that you're use to. If you've never visited the NE then I'm certain you will be more then pleased. Also, oysters have distinctive tastes, that's what makes them so delicious and different from one another! However, I didn't notice the difference in the taste. I know, seems petty, but I can be that way because their price point allows it. I probably wouldn't return only because the price doesn't meet quality. But if you have the money to spend and you don't care, then it's certainly worth the visit. I enjoyed it. It was romantic and delicious. But I left thinking I spent more money then the quality/quantity of food was provided. read more

The space is a tad cramped, I guarantee they just try to maximize space and work with what they have. Our food and drinks were phenomenal! 3/4 of us got the Cajun shrimp boil and it was amazing. Service was horrible, 1 waitress for all the tables and 2 people behind the bar?! Floaties in our drinks. When asked for new drinks, waitress stated it was Tajin from their martinis. We didn't order martinis!! Had the lobster bisque and lobster mac n cheese for appetizers. Lobster bisque was decent but mac n cheese was mac without the cheese! Ordered a spicy lobster roll that was not spicy and mostly crab meat (didn't taste like anything!). The ahi tuna was decent but not sushi grade like they stated. And lastly the surf and turf. The garlic butter was the best part. Beef was over cooked and sliced. Why would you need to slice the beef? To top it off, flies and gnats where everywhere!
