This was my "go to" cleaners when we lived in Danville (we moved to San Ramon 2 months ago today). They used to be called "My Buddy Cleaners" though the name is now different, this place is still run by the same folks with the same great service. They offer pick up and delivery service on a rotating schedule and though we are not the type of household that needs dry cleaning on a regular basis, I will be using them when I do have dry cleaning needs. I brought a huge bag full of clothing that had been sitting in boxes for months and I know when I get them back, they will be like new when I see them again. Very impressed with all the GREAT reviews and not suprised as they REALLY deserve them! Incredible customer service! I have had so many problems with so many dry cleaners that I am offically THRILLED with finding these guys. Bob (who is incredibly kind and polite) spent a lot of time talking to me about the speciic problems and what kind of items needed extra care. My husband wears very nice shirts that are pricey. Previously we have had items returned with massive stains, where there were none, massive shrinkage, and the good old switcheroo... yes, we never got back 3 brand new John Varvatos shirts! That being said I had exhausted all my local options and one day, someone drops a leaflet at my door, I pick up the phone and talk to Bob, we have a lovely conversation and I am willing to give them a try. Thus far it is working out brilliantly, Bob expplained that with this material there are several steps in cleaning the shirts mostly hand wash (after he check out the designers website and information on fabric and cuts etc) impressive. I think so. He has come out on days that are not their regular pick up days, because I had a shirt in despair. Really great service comes from a friendly and thoughtful owner who runs this business. He addresses all issues I had with my delicate silk blouses, including a 70 year old vintage blouse. He once even emailed me several paragraphs describing the condition and process of cleaning for several of my pieces while I was on vacation abroad. I also asked about promotions and he suggested one that I could benefit from the most. Services come with free delivery to your home as well. I used Martinizing Dry Cleaning YEARS ago when I lived in Alameda... and I loved them. Really fair prices, 24 turn around, and really friendly staff. I moved to the 680 corridor (Danville, then Walnut Creek, then San Ramon) and years later opened up a massage business. Today I found out that there is a Martinizing Cleaners here in Danville as well, and called today to set up service. Really friendly call, easy to set up pickup and delivery, and again, way better pricing than all the places I called in the area. $1.90 for laundry wash and fold? Right on! I hate folding the massage sheets... fitted sheets are the worst. Now that stress is off me and my staff. Looking forward to setting up a long time relationship with these guys. Great place to get my clothes done. Reliable and always goes above and beyond my expectations.

These are the only dry cleaners I have used in the past 5 years or so and I picked them specifically due to their pickup service given my busy schedule with work and family. There was a special deal for new customers but I wanted more information to be sure I knew what to expect later with costs and such. I got personalized email responses back that were very helpful and I have had very pleasant and useful phone calls to them which answered all my questions. The few times I have used them for laundering my work clothes it has been well worth the price which isn't that much more than other places and the time saved for everything was invaluable. I also recently had been looking around for someone to hem my pants and called multiple places. I actually got a few minutes of extra conversation explaining why the prices were they were at other stores and he even recommended I try hemming tape first as a less expensive option (given that hemming would cost more than the pants I wanted hemmed!). Since I am wearing scrubs more at work now and less of my dress clothes, I haven't used them lately, but if there is ever a need, this is where I would go first. read more

We are very displeased with One-Hour Martinizing in Danville. I had them clean a black coat with a detachable hood and sash. They charged us $39.33 which my Husband and I thought was extremely high. I made the mistake of not getting a quote prior to their picking up the coat. I called a competitor who does considerable business in the Danville area who informed us the charge would be $22.00 for the same job. We called them to complain about the price and were supposed to get a call back from the Manager the following Monday. He never bothered to call so we visited the store where a clerk informed us that "$39.33 is our price." We asked to see the Manager and he chose not to meet with us. We were offered a discount on a future order which did not satisfy our displeasure with the current transaction. We will never again use their service. read more

These guys ARE as good as it gets! I approached Bob and Dave the day before a wedding I was attending where I needed some dress shirts cleaned pronto. My girlfriend was going ballistic since I should have gotten it taken care of weeks ago. The shirts were in real bad shape from sweat / stains / etc from the last event I wore them to months before. They were pricey shirts, so I was hoping to get them cleaned rather than rush out and buy new ones. From the very beginning I experienced TERRIFIC customer service. Dave handled my questions over the phone very well, and I drove up later in the afternoon to drop them off. Bob took a good look and agreed they were in rough shape. Since the timeline I was asking (less than 24 hrs) was tight, he said they might not be able to re-treat them if the first run through was unsuccessful. I agreed there was a distinct possibility the stains might not come out due to their severity, and Bob agreed to call me the next day at noon to let me know if they were a lost cause so that I could still have time to pick something up before the wedding. He even offered complimentary delivery to the place I was staying in Walnut creek! Bob contacted me the next day as promised and told me the shirts cleaned nicely and would be delivered by 3pm as I had requested. Because the wedding party needed me to help setup early at the last minute, I needed to leave at 2pm which meant I might miss the shirt delivery. I contacted Bob to see if that might still work out for him, and he said he'd take care of it. I thought this meant he would re-direct his driver to drop off my shirts first rather than later on his/her route. No! Bob HIMSELF drove up and dropped off the shirts to me in person well before 2pm!! And the shirts were like NEW!! These guys did absolute magic on them in less than 22hrs for less than $7 a shirt. I was astounded. I honestly cant remember doing business with a place that made me feel more appreciated as a customer. Frankly, the whole situation was due to my lack of planning, and anyone else would have laughed me out the door and been perfectly justified in doing so. Instead, Bob and Dave accommodated me regardless, providing magic-like cleaning, fair prices, and VIP treatment customer service. I live in Palo Alto but if I need my clothes cleaned again I will certainly combine trips/make a special trip to Danville to work with them instead. These guys are that good. Wow! Wow! Wow! I really didn't think people like this existed in the world anymore. My husband was in the dog house. We were going to a wedding Saturday and Wednesday Thursday and Friday came and he still had not gotten his suit dry cleaned. I told him it was impossible to find anyone that would help him with such short notice. This place not only bailed my husband out but delivered the suit back to his work for him, within hours. Unbelievable. The bill so cheap that I kept waiting for another debit to come through the account.
