This is the third restaurant that I've eaten at in the firehouse building, but it is by far my favorite. They have great complimentary chips and salsa. There's a great variety of margaritas including frozen ones. The food was all SO good and big portion sizes, so come hungry! We got the elote pizza, which is unique and so delicious. The chimichanga and birria quesadilla were also good. Can't wait to come back to this restaurant and spend time at the rooftop bar after,

This place is delicious! Huge portions and definitely recommend for a Tex Mex outing. It's located in the old Fenton firehouse, which as had a few restaurants over the last couple years. It's a fun space that has a dive bar in the basement and a rooftop bar above. For drink, they have several frozen margaritas which are really unique. For food, I got the Nashville Hot chicken tacos and my table split an elote pizza. Both super flavorful and I left feeling super full with some leftovers. Also has free chips and salsa which is always a plus!

Food was top notch and the service was great. Really reasonable pricing for the quality and the potions. There was families non families vibing and having a good time, at the bar and at the tables. We will be back no doubt!!

Welcomed addition to Fenton. Finally great Tex Mex in Michigan. The green Peruvian sauce is really awesome.

Everything was 10/10 from the free chips and salsa, to the margaritas, to the tacos. Lydia, our server, was especially friendly and attentive. We will be back!

Tried the shrimp tacos, elote pizza and taco night tacos. All were good, service was solid and price was fair. Will come again

Here's a Yelp review you could post:…read more We stopped into Sagebrush Cantina for lunch and had a pretty good experience overall. We started with the chips and salsa. The chips tasted homemade, thin and crispy with just the right amount of salt. The salsa was a little thinner than I prefer, but it had a nice kick once it arrived. For our meal, we ordered the chicken, steak, and shrimp fajitas. The steak and chicken were both moist, flavorful, and well seasoned. The shrimp, unfortunately, didn't have much flavor, and I was disappointed by the vegetable ratio. There was a huge bed of onions and only about one pepper in the mix. One of the highlights was the steak tacos. The steak was chopped into small pieces, packed generously into the tortillas, and so tender and juicy that you could barely close them. They were absolutely delicious. We also tried the handmade chicken taquitos appetizer. They come cut into smaller pieces rather than whole taquitos, but don't let that fool you. The chicken was finely shredded, the crispy exterior was perfect, and the spicy sauce that came with them was excellent. The portion was surprisingly large and easily shareable. A special shoutout to our server, Parker. He was fantastic. He checked on us frequently without being intrusive, offered menu recommendations, brought us extra tortillas without us even having to ask, and genuinely made us feel welcome. Great service can make a meal memorable, and Parker definitely did that. There is plenty of parking since the restaurant is located in a plaza, though it's easy to drive right past it if you're not paying attention. The only downside was the price. Lunch ended up being around $20 per person, which feels a little high. Still, the quality of the food and excellent service make it a place I'd return to.I'd probably rate that 4 stars: great service, excellent tacos and taquitos, good fajitas overall, a great meal.

El Arbol is definitely a cool spot visually, and I really wanted to love it based on all the great…read morereviews. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was much better than the food for us. The restaurant itself is bright, colorful, clean, and really well designed. I loved the clever bench seating, the bar was well stocked, and there's outdoor seating plus an upstairs area that looked really cool. They also have a walk-up taco window outside, which is a fun idea. We sat in the bar area, and the service was amazing. Everyone was friendly and attentive. The food, though, was really underwhelming. Almost everything we tried lacked seasoning and flavor. I ordered the chicken enchiladas, which had very little chicken and were pretty bland. I did like the very thinly sliced jalapeños on top. The rice was nice and fluffy but didn't have much flavor, and they serve black beans, which just aren't my preference with Mexican food. The house-made salsa was surprisingly sweet, and I was disappointed that the chips didn't seem house-made. If I'm going out for Mexican food, fresh chips are one of those little things I really look forward to. My husband ordered tacos at $6 each, which felt pretty steep considering we're used to excellent tacos in the $2-$3 range. His carne asada was cooked closer to medium rare, which wasn't what we expected at all from carne asada. The queso was another disappointment. It tasted very similar to Rico's cheese sauce you can buy at the grocery store. Overall, great service, great decor, very clean and a fun atmosphere, but the food just didn't match the setting or the reviews for us. At these prices, I expected a lot more flavor. Unfortunately, we left pretty disappointed.

The broth had a wonderful thickness and so much flavor. I almost wanted to drink it straight out of the bowl. The burritos were filled and delicious. They had an elote cart featured tonight. It was out of this world! One of the waite staff was so very kind. The restaurant itself may look a bit dated or worn but trust me the food totally makes up for it. CLEANLINESS: CUSTOMER SPACES (lobby, seating): Appeared clean BATHROOMS: Did not use SERVICE AREAS (kitchen, behind counters): Did not see. STAFF: SERVER: Younger male. Very nice, was attentive, pleasant. HOST/HOSTESS: She was very friendly. OTHER (manager, buser, bartender): Did not have any other interactions. SERVICE: Service was good, server was very nice with any questions we had. *** What we didn't appreciate was when it was time to pay the bill, the server brings out the handheld payment tool (like a lot of restaurants use now), server holds the tool so my husband can see and stares at the tool, watching my husband choose what tip amount etc. It automatically defaults to a 20% tip and then increases from there for tip choices!! We felt very pressured and awkward with this. We like to take our time and figure out how much we want to leave based on service not feel "pushed" into choosing one of the pre chosen percentage amounts (especially if they default to a minimum of 20%)!!! The server needs to leave the tool at the table walk away or stand farther back so the customer can privately pay. FOOD &/or BEVERAGE: Birria Taco Dinner TASTE: tacos were very good, flavors of the meat was amazing and that dipping sauce was so good! Beans and rice were basic (nothing different than other places). SIZE: average PRICE: $15.99 Chimichanga TASTE: chicken meat was very flavorful, overall was a very delicious chimichanga. SIZE: average PRICE: $16.99 Basic Burrito TASTE: ground meat was very flavorful, asked for only meat and cheese (normally comes with beans and rice inside) and it had a small amount of beans inside :(. Overall was a delicious basic burrito. Note that this burrito is served dry not wet. SIZE: average PRICE: $9.99 Burrito Chaparrito TASTE: shredded beef was very flavorful, asked for little beans but seemed like the normal amount, also has rice topped with cheese (this is not a wet burrito). Overall was a very good BUT this is the same as the basic burrito except you get cheese on top of this one (which costs you an extra $8.00!!), if my husband would have known that, he would have just done the basic burrito too! SIZE: average PRICE: $17.99 OVERALL THOUGHTS: Paid $80 for our family of four. Food is very good. Staff were very kind. Didn't appreciate the check paying experience (full explanation under service). WOULD I RETURN? Possibly, but we would not make a special trip.
