This is an awesome place! First - the service is amazing. Our waitress, Kaylie, was so attentive and accommodating. Second - excellent food. Lots of choices. Breakfast is available all day. (The popular pancake houses close early on the shore!) Large servings. Big bonus - they have their own parking lot. This makes a difference. Finding parking on or near the boardwalk isn't easy. Went to the Marvis Diner for the first time on our annual trip to Wildwood. Wanted to try something different for breakfast. I tried the Sriracha Benedict since I love Eggs Benedict and spicy foods. When it came out it was basically regular Eggs Benedict with Sriracha on top. I expected something different instead of basically 30 cents for adding Sriracha on top. They have Hank Sauce in the diner, which is a plus and I would have rather just put that on the Eggs Benedict if I knew that's all I was getting. The Eggs Benedict was smaller than other places I've gone for breakfast in Wildwood, but tasty, and the potatoes weren't cooked enough and somewhat bland. The service was good and the price was reasonable, I've just had better. read more

We've spent our whole vacation dining here for breakfast and have been blown away by how delicious it is. Everything is delicious and the portion sizes are huge. From the homemade pancakes to their skillet breakfast dishes or the huge 4 egg omelettes you can not go wrong with anything you choose. We've eaten here during each stay at wildwood and this year was the first time we've experienced rude customer service. In Particular from the hostess Shantika. We understand it's covid, we understand that there is a wait but there is no excuse to make customers feel like they are a bother, to give customers attitude and make them feel unwelcome. I was compelled to ask for a manager that night but decided it was best to bring my complaint to Yelp. Our waitress Delancey was a gem and she was able to turn the night around for us. We ordered Oreo pancakes, and two orders of Marvis Heaven which consisted of home fries, eggs, cheese and hollandaise sauce....talk about rich and decadent! This is a very good diner! We all started off with coffee, which was good. For my meal, I got a cheese omelette with mozzarella cheese, with home fries and wheat toast. The omelette and toast were very good. The home fires were alright. My boyfriend got French toast with bananas and a side of home fries. He loved his meal. My mom got an American cheese omelette with home fries and rye toast. She thought this was just okay. My dad got blueberry pancakes which he said were good. The portions were also very generous. My family and I were on vacation this week and figured we would go to Marvis for dinner considering it looked packed at breakfast time. We had a turkey dinner , 2 meatloaf dinners and a chicken parm, which all were disappointing to say the least. The meatloaf tasted like a frozen tv dinner and the mashed potatoes on the turkey dinner and meatloaf were both terrible. The chicken parm was chewy and tasted stale. We asked for the chicken parm to be taken off because it wasn't touched and it was a whole parade to get it taken off the bill. They're not reasonable and not very professional. I'd save your money and go somewhere that doesn't serve canned food! read more

8/13/23 Didnt even get our food, Me and my girlfriend went to this diner and were seated and then told after being given water ill be back in a few minutes to take your order. We sat there for 40 minutes and considered actually asking someone to take our order, until i saw our waiter and 2 others just sitting behind the bar talking. We were there so long that there were almost no other customers in the diner and still didn't get our order taken, got up and left to get food somewhere else. Excellent waiters and truly all of the staff is great. We ate there more than once during our visit for breakfast, lunch and dinner. My husband said they had "the best French fries" he's had in a longtime. Our son was obsessed with their pancakes and loved his milkshake for dinner- he claimed it was "so 80s" haha! Our first visit was for late night burgers and sandwiches which was very good I had the Gyro which was done well and chili cheese fries were very good. The breakfast was amazing we had Marvis Hell and it comes out on an actual frying pan full of food WOW. The combination of flavor and quantity was amazing. Sad to say I couldn't finish it but came very close. The service was very good everyone was attentive to our needs and didn't wait long for food to arrive.
