Went for breakfast on a Friday around 7:30 a.m., there was no wait to get a table. I ordered the chocolate chip waffle. It was my last day at the shore and I was feeling decadent. I also got a side order of tater tots. The waffle was good, nice & crispy on the outside & fluffy on the inside. The tater tots were also crispy but plain. No seasoning or flavor added to them. I personally like some flavor added but if you like plain, they were cooked well. The person I was eating with ordered an omelette with scrapple, toast & home fries. She had no complaints & said the food was good. The service was good, friendly & quick and the prices were reasonable ($19.14). I would definitely return next time I'm in Wildwood. read more

We really felt like we won the lottery with our order, which was aptly named "The Jackpot"! We initially went to another restaurant, but the place had a 2 hour wait. We came here instead with our group of 11. There was no wait. The service was great. The waitress was so nice. The portions were huge and the food quality was high. Great value without compromising quality. The veggies with our meals were fresh. I had pork chops, which were full of flavor. We have been to Marvis several times over the last three years, and we have never had a bad experience. We have never dined in, and only get takeout, but it has been a friendly experience. We have had breakfast, lunch, and dinner food from here, and all of it has been on point. This time I ordered the Nutella stuffed French Toast, and wow I was not disappointed. It was the best french toast I've ever had. So much Nutella and the right amount of cinnamon. Their pancakes are good to and I also recommend their wraps. When picking up, the staff is unorganized and sometimes may forget about you, but they are friendly overall and it didn't negatively impact my experience, and was kind of comical. Service was good but it got me upset that I couldn't get a kid's meal; but still the server told me why I couldn't in a really nice and forgiving way which is why I didn't mind tipping in the end so much. I was going to go Para Sailing after eating here literally 30 minutes after and didn't want to get overfilled with food so I wanted a little portion of food to help get me through not eating breakfast and they refused to give me a kids burger and fries. I didn't want the discounted prices like they said most people do I just wanted a smaller portion and didn't wanna pay so much for food that'll sit in my car for weeks. If you're so picky about stuff like that you should be giving less portions. Surely a kids meal that is half of what an adult eats shouldn't be valued at an adult price. Which makes no sense to me why I shouldn't be able to order the kids meal since I am getting half of what I would've normally paid for. Management should rethink that because there is no logic there. The OJ wasn't even that good either. The only thing I liked was the texture of the waffles with strawberries. That's good. Probably won't be coming back here again. read more

Went to Wildwoods while on Labor Day weekend and went for dinner the day we got there and went for breakfast the day after. I got the chicken philly cheese steak with fries and the bread was toasty, the fries were crispy and my sammich was delicious (a lot of chicken.. Not complaining, just telling you the deets). The hostess made an effort to accommodate our baby- which was greatly appreciated because it was so crowded. The selection of food was very good for breakfast. Went for brunch today. Kid that seated us was a bit of a snot. Tried to seat us in a booth and I'm using a walker. Training issue, people with walkers have great difficulty getting up from a booth - I politely asked for a table and she caught attitude and told cash register lady who rolled her eyes. So why the 5 stars? Because the food and our waitress rehabilitated the experience. I wish I got her name. Absolutely delightful and extremely attentive. Gave her a 30% tip, which I always do for great service. Eggs, bacon and home fries cooked perfect and delish. Hubs had a sriracha turkey grilled cheese. He loved it.
