Bubbles, thick as fuck, no shape and polish was all over the place but the right places, the tips pointing down I mean wtf lol. I came in before my festival trip and let me tell you I tipped bc I always do then immediately complained I didn't want them to think I didn't want to pay but to be honest I should have walked out and sued them for even thinking that what they left me with was work or even normal she was talking to this gentleman the whole time and even he was looking like wtf is that. lol like I said I paid then complained. So disappointed.....been coming here for about 6-7 years. I usually do gel manicure and almost every time I get the gel, it chips before 2 weeks. I don't make a big deal about it since it's close to the 2 week mark. This time I came in for gel manicure and after 4 days my nails started to chip. I called to let them know and see what can be done, and they told me there was nothing they could do. They tried to say it's from using water and also from oils. I told the girl I spoke with that I am a loyal customer and I pay extra for gel so that it doesn't chip but she didn't seem to care. This is not good customer service especially since I am a faithful customer. Needless to say, I will not be coming back to Mary's nails, i I really enjoyed coming here, but i'm sure I will not have a problem finding another nail place that values their customers more then Mary's nail does. read more

For the purpose of narrating my incident, I'm going to nickname all three Vietnamese ladies as #1, #2 and #3. Vietnamese ladies #1 and #3 were working on customers so lady #2 started doing my pedicure and manicure. She finished my pedicure and painted my toenails. She had just finished my manicure when this fat Mexican vieja came over from two seats away and sat next to me. Lady #1 went to eat lunch and lady #3 sat down on a chair and started using her phone. The Mexican vieja started tapping on my Vietnamese lady's shoulder and handed her a nail polish. I didn't know what was going on but my Vietnamese lady (#2) stopped working on me and started painting the Mexican viejas nails without saying a word to me of what was happening. It didn't make sense to me as to why my Vietnamese lady had to paint her nails when lady #3 wasn't busy and just on her phone. I stayed and waited for a bit while she had me on "pause" but eventually I got upset, got up, went up to lady #1 (who was eating her lunch in the back) and told her "I just want to pay and go". Lady #3 (the one playing on her phone) rung me up. As I am paying, I tell her that it is very unprofessional and disrespectful to stop working on a client just to work on someone else. The Mexican vieja, who should have kept her ugly ass mouth shut but didn't, started talking shit about me in SPANISH to her husband; and of course, I told her off in Spanish and put her in her f**** place where she deserved to stay. Don't assume I don't speak Spanish because I will put you in your place any day. I paid, didn't leave a single dime for tips and left pissed off. Oh, they are definitely racist towards black people. They turned down this black woman when she came in asking for prices and they had the audacity to talk smack about her in front of the other customers once she left. Bottom line: Shitty clientele, shitty customer service, racist, and awful communication. I'm never coming back to this shit hole. read more

Kelly is the greatest Nail Tech i have come across since moving to the IE. She knows what she is doing is quick and efficient. She was honest about m previous set, and the quality of what I had. I now have new go to nail tech!! They do take Credit/Debit card but there is a $1 service fee, also I will say the nail color selection is rather small, maybe bring your own color if you like some pizzazz!! read more

I tried this place for a fill I ended up a not even 2 days later with my right index fingernail swollen and painful I couldn't understand why and I remembered the so called nail lady grinded my fingernail so thin and the base of nail to where my skin was bleeding a little and I would pull away saying stop already so anyhow a week later the side of my fingernail was so swollen and you could see the area just infected so I'm pissed i can't even zip my pants my finger hurt so damn bad, I go to the place and show them cause I couldn't take it and wanted to show them before I went to ER and inform them, they all come running speaking whatever they speak and bitch sees my swollen rock hard lump around nail and I show them and she squeezes it, it took everything in me to keep from going to jail then the soft spoken lady begs me to sit and soak it to try and remove the nail, I agreed but long story short I stormed out after 5 min with one running after me saying she sorry but I wasn't having it the other ladies didn't give a shit so I went home and had to keep my finger in the hottest water I could take for the entire night until finally the shit came oozing out DISGUSTING I never pursued anything which I should but it's not me so I'm just letting others think twice before coming here. So me and my girlfriend came to this nail shop in Pomona it's called Marys nails and my fucking nails look like a fucking dumpster trashcan I don't know but it's not cute the lady has a bad attitude she acts like she don't wanna fix My nails after I explain to her what was wrong with my nails amd why I wanted them fixed she still wants to argue me down and tell me what she knows and what she did so I feel like this is not a good place to get your nails done. I've been coming here for a while. I've gone to a couple other places nearby but have had an issue with either the way they did them, the paint job or a nail popping off a couple days later. Kelly kinda seems a little intense however is very nice, quite and very good at what she does. Lulu also is very nice and helpful and will help you out. I came in for a repair and a fill after had getting a fill from the place around the corner from them only 5 days prior and I was on a very tight time limit. Lulu looked at my nails and seeing what a horrible job they had done. She said I needed to have them taken off and redone and suggested French tips. She took my nails off and did a complete set of French tips in less than an hour and only charged me $20. And that said has lasted me since the end of August . With no nails popping off and no no complaints. There is a very quiet third lady who has given me the best pedicure ever she's a very sweet lady the best. I highly recommend this place and only give it four stars because as far as designs on nails they are very limited other than that it's an awesome place and I will stick with them read more

I went to Mary's because when I googled them, it said that they open at 9, which they don't! They open at 9:30. This might not seem like a big deal to most of you who can drive but it is to me because I'm handicap (wheelchair bound), and since I cannot drive I have to use Access Services (transportation for disabled people) and its not like a taxi that can pick me up whenever I want, so I only had a certain amount of time... That wasn't the biggest issue I had with them. My issue with this place began when the first lady arrived to open the door to this establishment. The day I went, it had been raining and very cold so obviously I was in sweats, a hoodie sweater and because my feet are swollen, I can't wear shoes so I had on some fuzzy warm socks (no makeup). The lady takes one look at me, I greet her with a "good morning" and without replying to my good morning, the lady gave me the most degrading look and says "sorry, we don't service your kind!" The whole time she's holding the door halfway open. When she said it, I thought I heard wrong so I asked her to repeat what she had said, she repeated it one more time "we don't service your kind!" I asked her to explain what "my kind" was, she kept pointing at my wheelchair, so I said "what's my kind"? A paying customer that happens to be in a wheelchair because I cannot walk? Then when she realized that I caught on to her discrimination, nervously she said "we do appointments only" NOWHERE IN THE WINDOW, DOOR OR THEIR GOOGLE PAGE DOES IT SAY "APPOINTMENTS ONLY". She never asked what I needed, nothing! She just closed the door in my face, and locked it behind her. read more
