This was my second visit to this salon with my elderly mother, and unfortunately, it will be my last. On both visits, the nail technicians and owner repeatedly pressured me to upgrade from the regular manicure and pedicure I specifically requested to gel services. I clearly said "no" multiple times, yet the upselling continued. When I returned to pick up my mother, I was shocked to discover that they had charged me for a gel manicure and pedicure--and, despite my explicit instructions, the nail technician had gone ahead and applied the gel. My mother is elderly and has sensitive skin. She also dislikes the heat associated with gel treatments. I should not have had to repeatedly insist that my wishes--and hers--be respected. I explained to them that they had lost a customer who would have been a loyal monthly client. Unfortunately, the aggressive push to sell additional services and charge more money was more important than respecting a customer's clearly stated wishes. I will take my business elsewhere. I would strongly encourage the owner to reconsider this approach to customer service. read more

Needed a pedicure last minute so I came in the morning. I've been here twice already and both experiences I was not satisfied. The pedicurist was pushy on upsales and did not achieve requests (I wanted shorter nails and she kept them long after I asked three time to cut/file more). Horrible service. Just sitting there to upsell. You should do this , you should do that. They have a ATM to withdraw money to pay them and mint money off ATM. They don't tell you upfront for an extra card cost. Apparently there's $2 cost. I asked why wasn't I told earlier? Well it's not in their written contract to inform the customer well in advance that there's an extra cost because they want cash. read more

The before and after of my experience here. The color is different because I went to another nail salon and got a nail color change and nail file. I was not happy at all. My toes burned for days and eventually scabbed up. If you look close at my feet in the pics, you will see scabs on a few of my feet. And trust me, it was very uncomfortable. We've given this place a shot a few times now. Unfortunately they've made us feel uncomfortable about several things each time and therefore we will not be going back. First, they always try to upsell at least 5 times while you're sitting there and every time you say 'no thank you', they start whispering to each other and look at you and your nails. Every time it felt like they were mad we didn't say yes so they started talking about us. Last time I said I didn't want the delux pedicure. The nail tech was about to ask me and Helen told her to just do it. I didn't say anything because I already felt like they were talking about me. But before she started painting, I told her no gel, just regular and she got so mad and started talking about me again and just had a nasty attitude the rest of the time. I also went to tip them each 20% and I miscalculated the rude lady's tip and she said 'this isn't 20%!' It was on accident and only off by 1-2$ but she made a big deal about it. However I could have chosen not to tip her 20% because of how she made me feel the whole time. Each time I go there they always leave a big gap from where nail polish begins to where nail bed is. You walk out of there looking like you got your nails done a week ago. It's like they do that on purpose to get you back in sooner. This time my daughter and I said something about it and they fixed it but not without talking about us again. At times they would try to be nice and chat but it felt fake after having felt all the other ways. Overall, we felt unwelcome, like we were inconveniencing them, and couldn't wait to get out of there. I would not recommend coming here if you're expecting a pleasant experience. read more

I love going to get a pedicure and just being able to relax and enjoy. The entire pedicure was spent with them trying to upsell me and tell me how I needed to get the bigger more expensive package. When I told them, I only wanted the basic ones they'd to try to add things during the pedicure. Not taking no for an answer. On top of that when I first got there, I went to choose my nail polish color, and the lady was adamant that I sit down and she would bring me the colors. I had tried maybe three times to walk over to the nail polishes and she made me feel silly even insisting that I sit down. She told me she would bring me the colors. She did bring me the colors and I chose my color and then when I went to go pay they had up sold my pedicure $12 because I "chose" gel... I told them that it felt very dishonest that I would have been fine with regular nail polish, and they basically started yelling at me and treating me like I was out of line. I will never come back to this business. The whole thing left a really bad taste in my mouth. On top of that they didn't even do the massage on my legs, which is supposed to be be part of the whole pedicure experience. I just felt like I was in a car sales lot the whole time having to repeatedly refuse more and more services. Very icky service. I cannot recommend this place. Also, my nails do not even look good I could have painted them better myself at home. Gel nail polish on my skin, which can cause allergies... super bummed because I do not treat myself to this process very often. read more

0 STARS!! I asked for a gel pedicure and they did such a bad job and they left bumps under the polish! I didn't realize till I was home. I had asked for them to take off overlay and the lady did such a bad job and I needed to put new overlay on my pinky and she told me she can't do it. She then clipped a chunk off my thumb and took my nail and skin off. I was dripping blood and then she put some blue liquid on it without my permission and it burned!!! This place has redeemed itself. The quality of nails is okay. You won't get perfectly shaped nails but they do the job. My only complaint is that this place seems to be cash only. In the past they would take your card and let you know there was going to be a fee. Now they insist on you using the ATM machine in the corner that has a processing fee. When asked why they gave a very confusing answer which didn't make much sense. I would just suggest bringing cash to avoid using the weird atm machine read more

Everytime my bf and I get our nails done they always disappoint. This time around I got a gel manicure that lasted 3 days before they started chipping. There's another nail shop we go to in Buena Park and my gel manicure always lasts at least 2-3 weeks. Not to mention my gel pedicure last a month or so and I got a basic French and the clear has started to peel. My bf's hands were itchy for a few days after he got a manicure. While David did a beautiful job on my full set I can tell he is a perfectionist because even though I came in with my own design he made it happen this may be my new spot! Update: unfortunately My last 3 appointments have all been a mess I show up after making a phone appointment and they told me the time to come in and have had to wait 30-45 after the first time I thought well maybe it was a walk-in issue so I offered to just come back the next day.
