Took my BMW to fix a whinning noise they replaced Valve Cover, Cam Shaft Valve and couple motor mounts very $$$ when we picked up car 4 days later and drove it home it had strong oil smell coming everywhere out of air vents and under the hood could see puffs of smoke also overnight dripping all over When I called them about this and took car back into the shop I told them multiple times we did not have any oil smell or leaking all over my driveway. Well we took the car back in on Monday of course I do not hear from them so I call on Thursday they just now decide to look at it. We call them back again on Friday now they are telling us its 3 other issues again $$$$ I said i had enough take it to BMW dealer who performs the diagnostics and tells us whoever did the Valve cover did it wrong didnt replace the correct parts and propably pinched gaskets. The Dealership provided us pictures and Video of the leaks caused by Marzocchi. When we called them to explain they still are denying that they did this. I cant tell you how upset I was and still am especially with them telling me it was other issues. I will never ever take my (2) BMW's and Porche to that place. Negative star! If you love and care for your vehicle, don't come here. Customer service is what keeps you coming back to a business -the complete lack of it here makes me want to warn others via Yelp to avoid this place. My Dad brought his classic Mercedes in with an original gripe of the car battery not keeping it's charge. After a week, my Dad called for an update and was told they can't duplicate the gripe-they couldn't find any issues with the battery not keeping its charge. I went with my Dad to pick up the car and the cocky, over-confident 'mechanic' at the front counter told us, "nope, not here. Not on my watch - everything is fine." They did find a non-essential, non-battery related issue that they managed to charge my Dad $150.00 for. After a longer than usual wait, another mechanic drove my Dad's car up to us and told us he was sorry it took so long to bring it to us because he had to jump-start the car! So, the original gripe with the draining battery still remained, on the 'cocky' mechanic's watch! We left the vehicle there for another week, hoping they could identify the battery issue. When I called for an update, the answering machine left a generic message of literally, "this is a generic message. Please leave a message." There was no information stating the hours they were open, when they would return, etc. I left a message that I wanted an update on my Dad's car and no one called me back that day. The next day, I called and heard the same generic message, with no one calling me back. So, I left work early to drive to the shop and get a follow-up directly from someone at the shop. When I got there at 5pm, everything was closed up, the front door and garage doors closed. Yet, the hours on the garage doors stated they were open till 6 pm. I should mention here, that my Dad was told his Mercedes would be left IN THE GARAGE STALL, NOT OUTSIDE! I observed there were at least 10 cars all left outside and another 15 cars left locked up in an adjacent DIRT lot, one of the car's being my Dad's Mercedes. I realize that vehicles left for maintenance issues overnight can be left outside at mechanic's shops, but here, they are left in a DIRT lot, next to a railroad track, in a shabbily secured area. The 'security' fence is a rickety chain-link fence, with a rusty chain and key lock! I was completely flabbergasted. How can anyone knowingly leave their cars in a grungy facility like this? I called and left another message that regardless of the outcome, I wanted to take my Dad's car out of here - I've left messages, they were closed during open hours, and I felt the car was being held for ransom as no one was returning my calls. These are expensive foreign vehicles that deserve much classier care! It should be noted during this time, it rained for 4 days on these vehicles left outside. I called the next day and spoke to the 'cocky over confident' mechanic and asked for an update as they were finally open. He sounded so shocked that my Dad's Mercedes was now here for TWO WEEKS without a solution to the battery issue. He said he'd put the battery on the bench "right now" to try to figure out the problem. I called back a couple of hours later for an update and the same mechanic said, "oh, I'll get on it right now." What in the world?! This evolution was so lacking in responsibility and care on the business' part. I explained to this mechanic my Dad brought his car in a clean condition and how were they going to return it, as it had been left outside in FOUR DAYS OF RAIN in a dirt lot. I asked if they were going to clean it and give it to us cleaned up - there was mud on all the tires and I saw it was left in a rain-puddled, dirty, muddy lot. He replied he didn't have enough time to clean it, now that I was coming to pick it up. Terrible customer service - not even a suggestion of "how about a coupon for a free car wash"? When I showed up to pick up my Dad's car, I saw it parked outside one of the stalls, with water all over it. I went in to talk to the cocky, over-confident mechanic and I explained my frustration of a lack of informative answering machine message with no explanation of hours and how I came to the garage during their open hours, only to find they were closed. His answer to me was they were all "gone for 2 weeks", as it was during the Christmas holidays and all of their signs were "blown away". I asked why my Dad's car was wet and he said they were "washing it" - really?! A rushed, measly hose and soap bucket hand car wash outside the dirty stalls?! I then explained my concern with the lack of security for these EXPENSIVE cars left parked outside. NO fencing around the perimeter to secure them from the main streets and the vehicles were not safe. He said, "that's what insurance is for." Complete lack of empathy, lack of understanding. Will never go back. Went in here to fix the cruise Control only to find my audio controls didn't work cause they cut the wires. Brought it back and they fixed the audio by but the brake lights didn't work cause they cut the wires to the cruise control. So I get pulled over and got a ticket. Called them back and denied it and said I'm being a pain in the ass. But there were wires on the floor when they fixed it. They short circuit the breaks and basically said Oh well. Luis was the mechanic who worked on my car and I saw him soldering wires back and using electric tape. I'll never go back. Hassle going back three different times, they broke the problem even more, broke the break lights, and I got a ticket. These guys are not good. Took it to Honda and got it fixed in an hour. I'd rate this place 0 stars if I could. My boyfriend and I made an appt with these guys for a specific labor request for a part we already bought. They told us they COULD do it after we explained specifically what needed to be done due to the type of vehicle.... & they still said come in and it would be no problem to put this part in within an hour. We drove 30 min out of our way in the rain to get to them only to have them request another 30 minutes of our time into the appt to further discuss that they would need more time to handle the job. We understood and patiently explained to them what needed to be done -- again -- then they estimated 2 hrs instead of 1, and went we went on our way. After leaving the car there and having spent 2 hours killing time around the city... we finally called them to see if they had completed their work. They estimated 2 hours and since we didn't hear anything, we reached out first. They answered the phone and said that they COULDNT DO ANYTHING. Which , okay , would've been great to know on the phone when making the appointment before the out of the way drive, OR it would've been nice to know when we had to explain to them what we needed in person for 30 minutes, OR it could've been explained at any point for the past TWO HOURS while we waited around the area for the car to be completed. They could've called us within those two hours at any point to let us know they discovered they weren't able to complete installation. I'm very unhappy with their service as a customer. It was unprofessional not to communicate with us and I wouldn't recommend this place if you consider time to be an important value of yours. What a waste of a day... read more

Not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from, this guy is as honest as they come. Long story short, Gilbert Volvo, (after an $800 glorified oil change) told me I needed new rear brake pads. $400 to do them, and I needed them within 5k miles. When I made a statement I would go elsewhere, he said, "yeah, try to find someone who has the software to put the brakes in service mode, near impossible". BS. I found these guys and decided to give them a try. I was quoted much less to do the brakes. My boyfriend took my 2011 XC60 in for the work and when they got to the brakes, they were no where near needing to be replaced. I was at about 80%. My boyfriend was able to confirm it after looking at them himself. This is integrity. He will get all my business from now on. read more

I have used Marzocchi Imports for my 06 F150 and 06 VW Jetta. I recently took the Jetta in for a terrible noise when turning at slow speeds and a shimmy at highway speeds. Fearing the worst and a big bill I was surprised to learn it was some rocks caught between the frame and shaft and some bad tires. I rarely do reviews unless I had a experience with a company that has went beyond. Marzocchi Imports has went beyond in a positive way. I have a Mini Cooper that had a knocking sound that I had concerns about regarding a possible chain tensioner going out that could end up with a possible engine failure if not addressed . I had the vehicle checked by other service locations in the valley that specializes in Mini Coopers. In my observation, the others didn't care and/or take the time to really find the issue. I then came across Marzocchi Imports. I met with the owner Gerard, and his crew mechanics. First I noticed that Gerard and his crew members treated my vehicle like it was their own. They did a detailed diagnostic of the issue, gave a honest review of resolution, showed me the defective part and resolved the issue with the repair. I did not tell Gerard and his team that I have other vehicles (Mini Cooper, Lexus and a Toyota Truck). After experiencing Marzocchi Imports resolving the tensioner issue of my Mini Cooper, all of my vehicles will be going to Marzocchi Imports for normal maintenance and repairs if needed. It really does pain me to see negative reviews about Marzocchi Imports since I have had such good experiences with them. I had a Mercedes and have a beer bottle budget so the cost of repairs is outlandish at a dealership. I had a few things done to the car and was really pleased with the cost and service. Each time I would go for repairs I would hang around the waiting room and saw many customers pick up and drop off vehicles. I never saw any shady upselling and no angry customers who felt cheated. I have seen shameful thievery at other mechanics and was so pleased when I found this shop a year ago. I traded the Mercedes for a domestic car and was really pleased to hear that they work on American vehicles too! I called to set up a tune up! These guys are crooks! DO not go there beware. I paid 6K in repairs and was told your son could drive the car for years to come, I could not even drive drive the car for a day! I was told the I was going to get a engine rebuild instead they said they fixed other issues. It cost the same which was not approved. Gerard carry's a gun with a guard dog behind the counter. Went in with a volvo s60 (8-2014)that vibrated when going about 35 mph or so. Another estimate said it was my axles. These guys tell me its my motor mounts. Left the car with them even after the dog in the office barked (angrily) at my 2 y.o. Kid. They said theyd get back to me and let me know how much and exactly what was wrong.....days went by, nothing....id call them....nothing. Finally get a call (many days later) saying they went ahead and just replaced the motor mounts, over 1k. Whatever its a volvo.....not even 1 mile down the road, still shakes. Took it down the street the next day and the other guys fixed my axles. Just like they diagnosed before, fixed on time, and called to get the OK to start repairs after negotiating a price.Problem solved. Today I took it to a trusted mechanic i just discovered. He tells me my motor mounts are toast. Not even 10,000 miles on those yet, i dont even drive this car alot. Weird. Dont take your car here. read more

PLEASE READ: Do not ever come here..ever. Never have I ever been treated so DISRESPECTFULLY from a company. Just a bunch of idiots running around bullshitting customers. The worst part was their inability to do EXACTLY what I asked for. If a customer asks for an oil change, AND NOTHING ELSE, do not go right ahead and change things that were not authorized. From the minute I walked in, I was absolutely disappointed. They continuously fought with me about who said what on the phone and that my dad, whose car was taken in, had authorized the repairs. My dad and I knew some of the repairs that were recognized did need fixing, but we had another shop in mind to conduct such repairs. After he said no ONLY an oil change, they went ahead without authorization and conducted the "repairs" that "needed fixing". The air filter was fine and they change it anyways. When I asked for them to put the "old" air filter in the trunk, they lied and said they would. DO NOT trust these people. I'm supposed to only pay $200 and they charged $380.68. What a hustle. So dishonest. Go out of business. When I confronted them about their attitudes, they tried to shut me down. Not once was I disrespectful, ONLY honest. Please remember this post and never ever come to this shop. Biggest mistake of my life. Oh the best part, they taddled to my dad and said my sister and I were rude. I took my 2009 Honda Accord for some engine trouble-shooting and they found a problem that was related to a recall. I suppose they could have done the work and send me the bill. Instead they did a little bit of research and told me that I could take it to an authorized Honda dealer and they could fix the problem...probably for free. I took my car to he dealer and even though the recall expired 8-months prior to my issue, they resolved the problem for free. This is not the first time they've saved me some money. They continue to be upfront and honest with their assessment of work they've completed on my vehicle. They are definitely an automotive shop I will continue to use! read more

The owner or manager whoever the bald guy is (GERARD I believe), is very rude. My dad and I brought my car here for a diagnostic test and considering he could not look at my car until a week later my dad simply asked him "you will give us a call before you touch or fix anything right?" And he reply in a very rude tone "Well I have to look at it first (sarcastically) plus it's a '94 so I wouldn't waste my money into the car". Not sure if it's a race thing or not but we just found it very rude and unpleasant of a visit and to make it worse he was working on an '80 something camaro, we're wondering if the camaro owner got the same attitude we got from him. I just do not think it is any of his business REGARDLESS of what is wrong with my car, to tell someone that. What if the car has been in the family for a while and has sentimental value? I landed myself a DUI. Happens to the best of us, but it's extremely embarassing. When I went to Marzocchi imports Gerard was the first person I spoke with and he had, hands down, the best customer service skills I've encountered in the auto industry. The previous shop I used had extremely rude employees, and honestly had no idea how to treat people or vehicles. Marzocchi is the place to go! When we couldn't figure out what was wrong with my intoxalock unit they never backed dowm. continued visits and attempts to fix the problem didn't work BUT I was more than content on exploring what the cause was with the crew. Needless to say I rather enjoyed when my device malfunctioned, it gave me an excuse to go back and shoot the breeze while waiting for it to be fixed. His mechanics even stayed late JUST for my vehicle to get me on my way, they had people waiting for them to go enjoy their weekend but they put me first. I will always be greatful for their hard work, expertise, and their amazing customer service. thank you so much Gerard and Mike for all your help. I am a 3rd year student at ASU with a full time job. I finally had some money to buy a new car this April and after 3 weeks of having it, I ran into severe mechanical issues not foreseen as the car fax was clean. I took my car to get fixed at Marzocchi Imports in Chandler. They performed services on my car for $800 which, being a student with a job and payments to make, I had no choice but to finance my services through a third party loaner, Snap Finance. A week after my car was repaired, I had the same issue and took it to Marzocchi Imports to fix, again. This time the repairs were $1300. They were sure it would work this time. Well sure enough, a week later it didn't. I took it back to them A THIRD TIME and they were sure it would do the trick. But, this time, they had told me something was wrong with my blinkers-- an issue I had never encountered with this car before. Then, as luck would have it, my car completely crunked out on me 2 weeks after the THIRD service from this company and was rendered undriveble. I went back to the company who sold me the car, Rollit Motors, and they were able to trade the lemon in for a new vehicle, which was kind of them. However, I am now out with a total of $2300 in repair costs due to the Snap Finance company for 3 repairs which NEVER FIXED ANYTHING. I am blessed with a new car now that is fully functional, but I am left paying large sums of money to Snap Finance on a weekly basis amongst the other financial responsibilities that I have regularly. If I don't pay my $2300 in repairs in full to Snap by December, my interest rate sky rockets. This is all for 3 services that did NOT fix my problem and made it WORSE. I called Gerard at Marzocchi Imports to see if he would take these outstanding costs off of my hands since his three services I entrusted him with never actually fixed the car, and in fact made things worse. He says the services were performed and it's not his fault my car wasn't fixed. read more

We unknowingly purchased a piece of junk Volvo and had taken it to another mechanic that messed it up even more. They fixed everything. They even comp'd some of the service because of a miscommunication on their part with us, making us wait even longer to get our car back. I think they have good customer service and that is why I will keep taking my Volvo there when it needs maintenance. They also fixed my Monte Carlo and replaced the brakes, but forget to inform us that the brakes need to be replaced and they refunded the labor costs on that as well. I like that they willing admitted their mistakes and made up for it. The owner and our tech (Peter?) were easy to work with. read more
