It's ehh. The xiao long baos are nothing to write home about. The filling is a little bit too gingery for me. You can tell they are not experts at the art of make the xlbs. The onion pancake ony had a few onions. I should have known when I walked in and there wasn't one asian eating at the place, only the workers eating lunch. Do you know how hard it is to find hand made dumplings that are fresh, tasty and reasonably priced? Come here and you will get that. Most places that serve dim sum usually run out of dumplings by noon or you have to pay twice as much and wait for hours at Din Tai Fung or Paradise Dynasty to get fresh and tasty dumplings. 2. The Pan Fried Pork Buns Oh... emmm Geee.... you get 6 buns per order? Next time we are ordering 2 because they were juicy, tasty and delicious. Again... reasonably priced, fresh and damn good. 3. Portions are small and most of the dishes we ordered was overly salty for us. We got the Shrimp Fried rice - which was probably the best dish we got for the night. Walking in you'll notice adorable cultural illustrations on the walls, as well as a wall covered in notes of past customers showing their appreciation of the food, which we thought was very cute. They had a very large menu and while everything sounded good, we ordered the Juicy Pork Dumplings, Wontons in Chili Oil, and Chicken Fried Rice. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious! The Juicy dumplings were big and full of flavorful meat and broth. My favorite had to be the wontons in chili, they were absolutely amazing! It had the perfect amount of heat. Second time coming here! I got the juicy pork dumplings, the fried dumplings, and the BBQ pork buns. I remember I loved this place the first time I came, that I wanted to come again a year later. While the food was good, there was this aftertaste of peanuts that I couldn't really shake; I'm not sure if they're using too much peanut oil, but it was definitely enough of a peanut taste to turn me off from actually enjoying the meal. I wouldn't recommend the pork buns mainly because you can find them at the grocery store (like they looked like they came from a store frozen, not that they were handmade at the restaurant). Focus more on the other foods, like the dumplings, as peanut-y as they are. For the price, the meal was good, as it came out relatively cheap since I was splitting it with my boyfriend. I might come back again when I'm visiting Anaheim, but until then, I hope Min's fixes the peanut taste; please cut back on the peanut oil! read more

I've been here a few times now and happy to report the quality is great everytime! At this time, its take out only. Order in advance because a lot of people order takeout here because the food is really good! I typically order XLB soup dumplings and kung poa chicken plus shrimp (extra $5 to add shrimp, yikes). The rice is not included so remember to add that to your order (I'm used to rice being included). XLB is pretty decent compared to the not so good options I've tried around orange county. The kung pao chicken is really good and fresh- I definitely recommend. The interior of this restaurant is pretty cool, I really love the artwork on the walls! For the small staff they appear to have, they really do a good job to provide you fresh quality each time and the customer service is nice. Two different ladies (perhaps owners?) who competed my order and processed my payment frok my previous visits were patient, caring, and professional. This place is definitely worth a visit! For a first experience I enjoyed the ambience the staff was very nice and I enjoyed the cute mural of cats eating dumplings in their wall. It was a good intro to dumplings but they were lacking in the filling inside and a bit on the doughy side. We did like the cashew shrimp and the charge for the rice was pretty fair. We were satisfied with our meal, and although it doesn't top Din Tai Fung on my personal list of Chinese favorites, I would not mind returning. The wait staff was nice.
