It's ehh. The xiao long baos are nothing to write home about. The filling is a little bit too gingery for me. You can tell they are not experts at the art of make the xlbs. The onion pancake ony had a few onions. I should have known when I walked in and there wasn't one asian eating at the place, only the workers eating lunch. I would give it 0 stars if I could. The owner was extremely rude. Yelled at my family and made a scene because they were simply asking questions. This was their first time there, so it's very normal to ask. My grandparents can't eat spicy food, so when they asked if the chicken was spicy, she responded with, "Did you not look at the menu??" Since they were taking their time trying to figure out what they wanted, she made another comment saying "If you're not happy with the service you can go somewhere else". Standard Chinese food, similar to the food-to-go style. We wanted to try a new dumpling spot that's closer than the drive to Rowland Heights but was pretty disappointed. Portions are small and most of the dishes we ordered was overly salty for us. We got the Shrimp Fried rice - which was probably the best dish we got for the night. Singapore Noodle (Yellow Curry) was very much bland and not much flavor. The good thing was the size of the Shrimps. House Chow Mein was the biggest flop. The noodles are like those from a food-to-go spot and very greasy/oily. Juicy Pork Dumplings were average. Like you would get at any other dumpling spot. I am writing to share my recent experience at this restaurant, as I feel it's important to provide feedback on customer service. This was my second visit, and unfortunately, I encountered a rude attitude from the staff members, who I believe may be the owner. During my first visit, I brushed it off, but I had hoped for a better experience this time. On my lunch break, I was eager to try some different dishes, and I politely inquired if they had chicken feet, which I have seen at other similar chinese/ dimsum restaurants. However, the response I received was quite DISMISSIVE with comments about taking too long to order and being told not to ask too many questions about the menu. She began to take the menu away while my other friend was still reading it. I found this to be a bit abrupt and, frankly, quite rude. This made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. I did only ask if they have chicken feet that's it and start giving me attitude and look at me like she's gonna EAT me up! Lol Worst Customer Service!!! I understand that busy times can be stressful, but there were only a few customers in the restaurant at the time. This place is hard to find buried next to UPS in a strip mall. The fried wontons are the world's best - my whole family agrees. The dumplings are very good. Th dishes we love are chicken with black bean sauce, chicken with string beans, sauteed shrimp, bok choy with garlic, and wor wonton soup. The fried rice is not as good as other dished. We were in the area craving a dumpling spot so we decided on Ma's. It was our first time trying Ma's Dumplings and we were completely blown away. Walking in you'll notice adorable cultural illustrations on the walls, as well as a wall covered in notes of past customers showing their appreciation of the food, which we thought was very cute. They had a very large menu and while everything sounded good, we ordered the Juicy Pork Dumplings, Wontons in Chili Oil, and Chicken Fried Rice. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious! The Juicy dumplings were big and full of flavorful meat and broth. My favorite had to be the wontons in chili, they were absolutely amazing! It had the perfect amount of heat. Second time coming here! I got the juicy pork dumplings, the fried dumplings, and the BBQ pork buns. I remember I loved this place the first time I came, that I wanted to come again a year later. While the food was good, there was this aftertaste of peanuts that I couldn't really shake; I'm not sure if they're using too much peanut oil, but it was definitely enough of a peanut taste to turn me off from actually enjoying the meal. I wouldn't recommend the pork buns mainly because you can find them at the grocery store (like they looked like they came from a store frozen, not that they were handmade at the restaurant). Focus more on the other foods, like the dumplings, as peanut-y as they are. For the price, the meal was good, as it came out relatively cheap since I was splitting it with my boyfriend. I might come back again when I'm visiting Anaheim, but until then, I hope Min's fixes the peanut taste; please cut back on the peanut oil! read more

Love the dumplings! We had the Chicken and also the juicy pork dumplings. Both were great. We also had the Chicken skewers which had a mild spiciness to them which was very tasty. I also ordered the Seaweed egg drop soup . The soup had plenty of seaweed and egg ratio in it so it was just perfect. We will be back again and again to try the rest of the different dumplings. Standard fare, decent, not great, not bad. ****pork (soup) dumplings Xiao long Bao. Inners are tasty but covering a bit thicker (too thick) than Din Tai Fung. *Fish fillet with black bean sauce. Uniformly disappointing. Too soupy, did not taste like black beans and simply fish or oyster sauce. ****string beans with garlic. Done reasonably well. Fresh good flavor. ***Fish dumplings. I've been here a few times now and happy to report the quality is great everytime! At this time, its take out only. Order in advance because a lot of people order takeout here because the food is really good! I typically order XLB soup dumplings and kung poa chicken plus shrimp (extra $5 to add shrimp, yikes). The rice is not included so remember to add that to your order (I'm used to rice being included). XLB is pretty decent compared to the not so good options I've tried around orange county. The kung pao chicken is really good and fresh- I definitely recommend. The interior of this restaurant is pretty cool, I really love the artwork on the walls! For the small staff they appear to have, they really do a good job to provide you fresh quality each time and the customer service is nice. Two different ladies (perhaps owners?) who competed my order and processed my payment frok my previous visits were patient, caring, and professional. This place is definitely worth a visit! The food tastes a lot more 'homemade' and less strong in flavor than DTF, but it wasn't bad by a lot shot. The soupy buns were passable but could have used more soup inside. We did like the cashew shrimp and the charge for the rice was pretty fair. We were satisfied with our meal, and although it doesn't top Din Tai Fung on my personal list of Chinese favorites, I would not mind returning. The wait staff was nice. I was craving XLB and didn't want to drive to Santa Anita Mall for Ding Tai Fung and with a few clicks on Yelp, I found this gem. A nice lady answered the phone and took my order and it was ready in 20 mins. I ordered 2 orders of XLB and an order of Beef Roll and it did not disappoint. I paid $28/$29 which is reasonable and it was yummy! Although I missed eating it with ginger, this was quite tasty and tasted very similar to DTF. I will definitely be coming back!
