The sign on the outside of the building says "authentic Mexican food" and I can confirm, their food tastes authentic. The carne asada was perfectly season,the chicken taquitos as well. We ordered esquite or corn in a cup, soooo goood!!!! It appears as though they may have daily specials, we saw they had a couple of chalkboards showing the flavors of aguas frescas and huaraches. I just happened across this restaurant when I went for a walk, while getting an oil change down the street. I am so glad that I did. The restaurant was so refreshing, beautifully decorated and clean! This place was good, not 4.5 stars I'd say that yelp has. I'm from Cali and have a few go to spots out there. The salsa is mild in heat and flavor. The green was the best choice. I got Al Pastor, Carnitas and Fish tacos. Tortillas should have been charred a little more which would have increased a star. My daughter had three tacos which came with a large side cup that contained pico de gallo, sour cream, lettuce, onion, etc. She ate all of her tacos in the car while I was driving her to work but didn't open the cup. I ate half of my food and put it away so I could drive her to work. When I got home, I put the rest of my food on a plate and started microwaving it. Meanwhile, I opened her container of pico de gallo, sour cream, etc. and took a big bite of the pico/tomatoes. I then noticed a huge bug laying there with everything!!! I spit out the tomatoes and threw out the rest of my enchiladas, because this made me so sick. With the intention of people today, myself included, I can totally believe they could not see a huge bug in the food before they served it to me. I don't think they served it to me out of malice. If I had open the cup while at the restaurant, I would've gone in and showed them. My girlfriend have ordered from here twice in the past two days. Both times we had four chicken tacos (2 with green salsa, 2 with red salsa) and a side order of chips and salsa.
