I was offered a free meal based off my previous review. I did not ask for a free meal today, I just wanted to see if there truly was an improvement. I gave one more star, but it was still not the greatest experience. For one, I was still given a dish made with canned green beans. Granted, it had some spices, but still came from a can (also it was not very hot, it was very cool). Other cups of the food were not very hot either. No sweet was provided on my Thali, so I had some Jalebi at home. Thali should always include a sweet and Achar (pickle). Also, the young woman wanted to charge me the weekend Thali price ($16.99) but thankfully the honest gentleman gave me the correct price for weekday, $14.99. I did like the Gongura Chicken the best. The Chicken Tikka, and Mushroom were good too. The Rajma Dal was just O.K. I will repeat, all of the Thali dishes need to be hotter as most were served barely warm. The Naan was good. Namaste Dosto! I walked over to Masala House to get the vegetarian lunch buffet. Our hostess Vinuda was very friendly and kind. The way they are set up, the staff fill up your platter with all the individual foods. I met a friend for lunch today at Masala House at the Bridgeville location. Following the server's recommendation, I ordered Samosas as a starter and the Tikki Masala with chicken entree with hot chai for my beverage. The quality of the food blew me away. Everything was super fresh, and the flavors were multi-layered. The service was perfectly attentive without being intrusive. I will be going back. For lunch, there is a "buffet" - that's what they call it, but really they bring you a plate with rice & a bunch of other food that's all unlimited refills and a basket of naan. They'll bring as much as you want of everything you have. You can order off the menu for an extra fee, but we didn't. I'll return to try the garlic naan sometime. The food was delicious. The service was good. It was sad to see the beautiful bar without alcohol. Seems like a bit of a waste of a great space. So glad I finally had the chance to stop into this location for dinner! A friend and I came on a Thursday evening around 5:30pm and we were one of two parties dining. The service was impeccable; attentive and friendly. The food took about 15 minutes to come out. We could see the staff working at the grill from our table. The naan was amazingly fresh and had just the right chew/pull to it. The tikka masala sauce was rich and creamy and the chicken chunks were huge and juicy. My friend said the kebabs were delicious, as well. She said they were seasoned nicely and very flavorful. This is my first time eating at Masala House. I got here late because I got held up waiting for an Uber. I got the Masala Chai tea and a samosa for my drink and appetizer. I asked for everything mild since I can't eat spicy food. For my entree I got the vegetarian curry with Basmati rice and Raita. Everything was really delicious! We know to be thoughtful when ordering to ask for mild spice, and that was just perfect. Service was fast and sweet. I think the hot crisp edges and flaky crust of the samosas were so tempting we ripped them up before we could even take a pic. The tandoori chicken was so overcooked and extremely dry. The Naan was the complete opposite barely cooked extremely doughy. Please don't waste your money eating this overpriced horrible food. If she is from India she needs to go back. My dinner partner had lamb and ended up getting sick. We have contacted the health department and lodged a complaint. read more

I brought my girl friend here and it was her first Indian food experience. She ordered based on my suggestion the Tikka masala with chicken. She went with the 0 spice level, chicken was perfectly cooked and fork tender, sauce was creamy and filled with flavor. I had the lamb vindaloo, I had mine medium spice level and it was perfect.
