Would not recommend Daquane as your server. He attempted to charge for multiple things that automatically come with the meal (example: chicken on chicken enchiladas, ext. (there were no extras within these charges for them to be justified)), when questioning the additional charges he responded as he would charge for a drink he brought out that was not ordered nor touched the entire dinner. When brought up to the manager he was very understanding and respectful in regards to the wrong charges and took care of them although as we do not go out to eat very often, possibly once a month if that, more is expected at a restaurant that has been visited multiple times with good experiences. read more

After reading the reviews I was hesitant to try, but a friend was moving away and requested we meet here. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. It came out hot and was very tasty, Quantities were large. The beef fajitas were really tender and tasty. We requested their "homemade" ranch sauce based on a previous reviewers rave. Meh at best. Ranch is ranch, but it wasn't bad. I had the cheese chili relleno. It was really good with loads of hot gooey cheese. My only negative is that the place is REALLY loud, not with music, but with people. The room has no sound dampening panels, so a whisper sounds like a scream. And speaking of screams, halfway through our dinner the entire wait crew came bursting through the kitchen door to celebrate another customer's birthday. Their wail when the emerged was BLOOD CURLDLING AND LOUD. In today's crazy society, and with people packing freely, I don't think that practice is a very good procedure. One more one more thing: One of the wait staff sat down with a newly delivered (from their cleaning service) package of napkins. She opened it, flattened them out on the table next to ours, and proceeded to roll them into logs in preparation to place on tables. The best Blanco Queso in town! I stopped by for a take out order during this pandemic time. The employees were very efficient & I didn't have a very long wait for my order. I was offered an extra bag of chips & I was glad I accepted. The large Blanco Queso was enough that I had some left over for the next day. First time visit on Monday. They just opened and we wanted to beat the rush, military town gets busy during lunch. We were immediately greeted with a warm smile. Beautiful set up. They have an awesome Margarita special on Wednesday ($1.99), and other great specials throughout the week. We took my in-laws there for the first time and they loved it! We visit at least bi-weekly, sometimes more often. I fee like the lot have great options for those who are Paleo, Keto and Vegetarian. My 8 yr old and I had an early lunch here. Based on the reviews, it seemed promising, and it turned out it was good. We ordered Queso with our chips. I had the beef fajitas and my child had the kids crispy taco. She ate it all, so I think that's a positive review for the tacos. The fajitas were great. The meat was tender and tasty. All the food we had was great. While our server was nice and took good care of us, it did take him almost 10 minutes to come get our drink orders after we sat down. The restaurant was clean. Tried MasFajitas for the first time and will definitely come back. Service was great! We both had the chicken flauta plates with charro beans and their tortilla soup. The flauta's were steamy hot even after sitting for a few minutes while I tasted the soup and it has a ton of flavor and also had chunks of chicken. She was very helpful and attentive. We never had to call for her because she always checked up on us before we would need anything. The salsa and queso are probably the best we've had. (compared to all the other Mexican restaurant in Killeen) I ordered the Cowboy Fajitas plate and loved it. The spicy sausage was what did it for me. My wife ordered the Shrimp Diablo which she really enjoyed. That goes to say a lot because she is very picky with her shrimp! The manager or owner also personally came to us to see if needed anything which was nice! We had very high expectations of this restaurant and they did not disappoint! We will be coming soon! Went on a busy Sunday afternoon. The service was really great! The establishment is kid friendly and welcoming. I had the shrimp tacos. The shrimp was on point!! Not over cooked, perfect plump and delicious. It was served with some sauce on the side that I didn't care for at all and would've over powered the dish if I used it. My only annoyance was the young table clearer guy who asked me twice if I was done with my plate while their was food on it so he could take it. I'd rather you just clear my table after I leave. I've just moved to Killeen and I have been looking for some good restaurants. The food was pretty good, but not the best. Kayla was a great server and the environment was pretty chill. My only issue was with the food. The rice on its own had a strong cumin flavor. The chips could have been better, most of the basket was crumbled chips. Other than that it wasn't a bad place. I was very disappointed with the management team. I ordered tortilla soup which of course came with the salsa. While I was eating my salsa, I noticed a hair in my food. I called the restaurant and let the restaurant know there was hair and to be careful. Immediately the person that answered the phone said it was no way it could be hers. Although she seemed very defensive she was also polite. I asked to speak to the manager on duty and his first response along with other ridiculous statements was "I don't mean to question you but it was probably cilantro" I am very familiar with cilantro and this was not it. At that point I realized the manager lacked professionalism and the ability to provide good customer service. My initial call was to give the restaurant a heads up (not trying to get free food) but instead I felt I was called a liar. I hope the management team understands this type behavior is unacceptable and get a manager with better professionalism and communication skills. read more
