Having owned my own mobile restaurant and a food connoisseur, I have to say my entire family thoroughly enjoyed every item we ordered. There were 8 of us and there were no issues with the food. Everything was spot on. A big thank you to our server (Victoria). She was the best part of our experience due to her professionalism and making sure everyone had everything they needed when they needed it. Out of 5 stars they get 10!!!! We will be back and often. Kudos to the cooks and the owner/manager's personal touch really capped off the night. read more

We call it "No Mas Fajitas." Gave it two chances to make the grade. Both times were Fs in our book. Food is indifferent; ambiance is cold; service sucks. Only reason to go is to say you went. Bad news is they seem to be opening in a new spot on Main Street in Taylor. You've been warned. read more

I love this place. We've never had a bad meal here. The food is unexpectedly delicious, and they have vegetarian options unlike most places in Taylor. The staff and service are great. It's clean. There are TVs if you want to watch sports, and beer and margaritas. I will be a regular here on my weekly trips to Taylor for a long time. read more

In town for a bird mart and looking for a place to eat. Found this place and have to say seemed ok but then we met Tonya and woe did the night get so much better ! Ok this place really redeemed themselves with the new location! Our food was amazing and our waiter was very prompt! Love the decor. I was skeptical since the old location was bad. If you haven't been to the new location you should really try it! We had tacos, enchiladas, and fajitas. Everything was superb! read more

It's interesting that they have a really new building and they now Nickel and dime you for things like onions ($1.50) and cilantro ($.50) and an extra $2.00 for queso on the kid's order of cheese enchiladas. This would all have been fine had they not completely blown it with order accuracy. 3 of 7 orders were drastically incorrect. The staff made no effort to make it right or better. They weren't rude but they weren't helpful either. Food tasted decent at best. Bill for 7 was $120 with no alcohol. Glad we could help them pay for their new location. read more

Saturday night and not very busy. Order a fajita beef burrito. Food comes out pretty quick. Most people received chicken instead of beef at the table. I wanted what I ordered so sent mine back. Server apologized and a few minutes later had a new plate. They seem to love chicken because that's what I got again. Send it back for a third time and at last after everyone's finished eating I get to start. No more eye contact for me from the server and sure no discount or a manager. It makes sense why no one was eating here now. Grease running from my not crunchy deep fried delight. Worst Mexicali's an food I've ever had 100% do not recommend. read more

I met with family here in Taylor Texas, we usually eat in Georgetown but part of us live nearer Taylor. We will never make that mistake again or at least I will not.The wait person either cannot read his writing or cannot hear well. None of the seven orders was correct. My food was all but inedible and burnt, I never received my corn tortillas, heck I could write a book on how bad this place is but I won't waste any more of my life with this dump. read more

The food at MasFajitas is always delicious & their house margaritas are scrumptious! I will say last night when we went, the service was extremely slow. It was 45 minutes until closing, about two other tables in the lobby, and it took us at least 15 minutes to order or food. I think he legitimately forgot about us. But regardless, House margaritas and stuffed fried avocado are the way to go! read more

Updated Review: Service just keeps getting worse and the manager just seemed to not really be too concerned the last two times we've been here. Server was busy watching a game with ear buds in rather than even look our way occasionally. Considering I brought friends here with me as well as my family to celebrate a birthday, it was plain embarrassing that I even suggested this place. On top of the server not hardly speaking English, getting our orders wrong, being beyond slow, extremely non-attentive, they choose to not even do anything to celebrate the birthday at the table even though multiple staff, including the manager were told. My favorite Mexican food LITERALLY. But was so disappointed in the staff and manager. Went in and they weren't even busy. Not one of the workers wanted to acknowledge ANY of the patrons in the dining room. No one had anything to drink, order was completely wrong, we had to wave down our waiter at least 5 times. And on top of it, the hostess was eating out of a pint of ice cream looking at everyone from the kitchen........ the manager was talking to the employees the whole time at a table, and wasn't even worried that people were having a horrible dining experience. Horrible time! **Also based off of the other bad reviews, this place could be so much better than it is if they focused on customer service. Looks like we found a winner here...Great location right of the Hwy 79 Loop. Place was clean, everyone was really friendly and kept the teas full..staff had each others back when it came to service...great concept....Salsa had a kick that lingered in the back of your throat, Queso was a little runny, not watery, due to how hot it was, still had "Clingage" to the Chips...Yet flavorful...As for the Chips, not a fan, either old or were fried in old grease..Not sure if they are in house made, but that was a small flaw..Wife went with the beef enchiladas (2), double rice...And I quote "some of the best beef I have had"...trust me Yelpers, this is a statement...Rice was fluffy and fresh with a great flavor compared to some we have spooned thru...Myself...tore into the Enchilada Verdes...What is this??...Moist chicken..and the Verde sauce was awesome...Same love for the rice and the beans were tasty, once again a little runny. Both of our plates were served "HOT".."HOT"...not to often do you have to blow on almost every bite. But hey, keeps your food warm while you eat...All Around great trip and close to home.. read more

Mas Fajitas is much better than average Tex-Mex. The service is great and the drinks are even better. The staff are an eclectic bunch, they play it cool, but are actually very entertaining. It feels more like a chain restaurant than locally owned but it's still cozy . The best items here are the table salsa and the top shelf margarita. read more

We have had the enchiladas twice, ground beef with traditional sauce, and they have been GREAT! We went on an enchilada quest to different restaurants around Austin and east of there. These were the best enchiladas and the BIGGEST enchiladas from the several other places we tried. It was the Taylor location. Service was great and very welcoming. read more

We tried this location a few weeks ago. The service was a little slow to start, but it was because they were actually cleaning...a rarity in local restaurants! The chicken enchilada verde was amazing! Loved the sauce. The tortilla soup was a huge bowl and tasty. My hubby had the chicken avocado enchilada, which was wonderful too. Tonight's service was stellar. We were disappointed that they no longer have Mariachi Thursday's. I had the steak enchilada. The meat was very tender and the charro beans were great. I wasn't a fan of the 'gravy'...a Tex-Mex red sauce, but I'm from Arizona. Hubby had the shrimp enchiladas-so good he ordered a 3rd to round out his dinner. The guacamole was okay. I'm more a fan of my mom's or HEBs spicy guac. We will be back again in a few weeks to try something new...we're working our way across the menu! read more

Been to this restaurant 4 times since it's been open here in Taylor. Two of the times were for meetings. The two other times were personal visits. Each of these visits I personally thought of other places I wish I could be eating. Ordered the usual favorites, fajita quesadilla and beef enchiladas. Fajitas tasted old, enchiladas had no taste. Going to give up on this restaurant, had hopes for it for me but no luck. read more

How do you rate Mexican cuisine? My #1 is the salsa. That's normally the first thing you taste that will impact the rest of your meal. So how is the salsa? It was great if you like no spice in your food. The salsa has been perfected for the "non-spicy" people in town. I was pleasantly surprised that the taco salad was filled with a plentiful portion of ground beef though. Not greasy and quite filling. The salad included really fresh ingredients and the shell was crispy and delish. The tortilla soup on the other hand needed salt and the veggie were so overly cooked i thought maybe this was yesterday's soup. The staff was very nice and polite. It was our first time going to MasFajitas. Our waitress was wonderful. The food arrived quickly by another waiter who was also very pleasant. The food was great as well as "The Pain Killer" my husband ordered. We will definitely go back. My only criticism, if you want to call it that, is the refried beans are made with lard and not veg oil. It would be great if they had a veg. refried bean. We will be going back. read more

Tried this restaurant for the first time on Saturday. Will never ever go back. Not only was the food terrible but the service was bad. we had a beef fajita quesadilla that was all cheese. So much cheese that it was not even edible. The shrimp diablo was totally disgusting.....nothing but some awful sauce. I had chicken fajitas that had no taste at all just grilled chicken no spice, no seasoning. You don't even want to know about the tomato water that was supposed to be the salsa. A lot of things can be forgiven if the salsa is super good. Margaritas had no kick at all. The only thing that was good was the queso and even that was not at all spicy. The chips were a little greasy but otherwise good, nice and thin and crispy. They are the only good thing I can say about the place. read more
