Order at the table, pay at the register. What happens in between is the magic. Complimentary bottled water eliminates any question about water in a glass. Warm dinner rolls and buns on the house. We shared and enjoyed the Pelmeni. Would go again if in the area.

Absolutely Delicious and Comforting! We had an amazing experience! The food was incredibly delicious, everything tasted homemade, and comforting. You can really tell they put love into every dish. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Highly recommend if you're looking for authentic, hearty food and a welcoming atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This place serves Russian dishes and other regional dishes near Russia. They also had some Ukrainian and Georgian items on the menu as far as I could tell. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a very quaint little place and it has good food and service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I like the free bread that comes with your meal. I ordered some dumplings and honey cake. Everything was good and I will definitely come back to try some more dishes in the future.

We made reservations since many friends said this place got busy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The night we went there was only two other parties seated and already eating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The person working behind the counter was also our waitress. She was kind and accommodating. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Jazzy music floated through the air while we browsed the menu.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We opted in for a Greek salad but they ended up bringing a summer salad. No biggy. It was still delicious. I ordered the Hinkali which was a meat filled dumpling. On first bite it reminded me of Xiaolongbao (小籠包) for all you dim sum aficionados. A bit on the pricey side but I could definitely tell it was homemade. The entire experience was a solid and good dinner!

Stopped in on 12/12/24 for a quick lunch while at work. I was craving something light and fresh but wanted to stick to local and close to work. I found Masha's on yelp of course and it looked perfect. I can tell you I made the correct choice. The service was so welcoming, the food hit exactly all the right spots I needed it to. I left full but not heavy and just incredibly pleased with the whole experience. I was given a bottle of water and some warm bread and butter when seated as well. I saw so many delicious looking dishes I want to go back and try! This time around I ordered a spinach salad that had raspberries, goat cheese, pine nuts and a raspberry dressing on it and a cup of chicken noodle soup as well.

I can't believe I kept missing reviews for this wonderful place. Masha and the Bear offers hearty Eastern European meals. They have been around pre-covid. I'm so glad their business survived post-covid. When I lived in Aurora I dined here a number of times. I also stopped by not long ago for bakery to take home. Their peach cookie is delicious! Earlier tonight I stopped by because I was doing business in Aurora. Afterwards, I couldn't resist the temptation to stop here. I ordered a few meals to take home. One of those meals was the Olivier Salad and the other was Beef Stroganoff with mashed potatoes. Both delicious meals! That Olivier Salad is great! I loved the warm hospitality I received. My waitress was very friendly. She offered for me to sit down at one of their tables until my food was ready. It was great to hear a Slavic or Eastern European language spoken by patrons while I waited for my food. The interior of this place is so charming. I love all the art decor on the walls and other decorations. It provides you with stepping into a portal to another country. Again, love the staff. I've always had nice interactions with them. Think I'll stop by here again soon! This is one of my favorite ethnic restaurants in the metro Denver area. If you haven't been, I highly recommend!

Plov. This was recommended by the woman at the counter and it did not disappoint. Highly seasoned rice with beef.

I stopped by and got takeout. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This cafe is cute![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was busy around 5 with takeout orders but no one was eating in at that time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's small (maybe five tables) but clearly efficient.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There are a number of gluten free and vegetarian options, including several soups, salads and entrees. I did a big takeout order but the price was very reasonable and the portions very generous. Two entree sized salads and two entrees was $61 and we have several meals of leftovers. I'll definitely return.

Good food from people who live in the area. The woman we spoke to is from Ukraine. This is a great way to try authentic food from the region. We have borscht, potato fritters, meat fritters, and cabbage rolls. Everything is very good. Vegetarian Uses: They have some vegetarian uses. All of his dishes are traditionally vegetarian, with vegetarian versions of his meat dishes as an alternative. Weight loss: They have gluten- and dairy-free power. Parking: This is a strip mall, lots of space Wheelchair access: It's all on one level, and the tables are all normal tables with chairs. It should be easy to move the building site.

A dining experience that I have been waiting for for a while. My first Russian restaurant! This is literally the cutest place ever. I love the interior and all of the Russian nesting dolls. The purple wall and red chairs are everything and so much fun. I was especially entranced by the coke fountain. My cousin and I walked in and were greeted right away and were the first ones in the restaurant for lunch. The service was good and the food came out fast. The owner was so sweet and I could tell that she loves her job. The menu is authentic and there are lots of options that you don't get just anywhere. What restaurant do you know that makes cabbage rolls and borscht (beet soup)? My cousin has been here several times and said that everything is authentic and tastes great. She would know because she studied abroad in Russia for a semester. To start we were given bottled waters and complimentary sour dough. The bread was warm, soft and oh so good. For entrees, we ordered the cabbage meat rolls and pelmeni. I've never had a cabbage roll before and the taste was out of this world and unlike anything I have had before. Great portion size too. The pelmeni is a Russian version of a dumpling and you dip them in sour cream. Really good stuff. Lastly, we shared the honey cake which was a tasty dessert option that's not overly sweet and was only $3 for a big portion. I am excited to come back and try more of the food and dessert options.

Ask the Community - Masha and the Bear

Does anyone know if they are still open? We went on Sunday during the listed opening hours, but it was closed. Also the phone number goes straight to voicemail.

The phone number has always gone straight to voicemail as far as I can tell, I have never gotten a live answer. But my daughter took a friend there a few weeks ago, during their normal business hours, and also found it closed. Doesn't look good.

The food is good, the service is slow, the decor is beautiful green and white, but the dining area is always filthy. The staff do not keep up with cleaning off the tables, chairs, benches, and the floor. I have observed this on every dine in experience. The napkins are hidden behind the register. I wish that restaurants offering fresh produce would use organic for the dirty dozen which Crisp & Green does not. The sound level is good because I have never seen it crowded. The parking lot can sometimes be full but there is a lower level. I like the wraps, salads, smoothies, and açaí bowls. Focus on customer service and cleanliness for 4 and 5 star reviews!

They could pick a bowl or salad. All the ordering was done online and was delivered to us, so I did not have any interaction with the staff or get a vibe for the location. My biggest pet peeve with doing large orders online is that many places don't label what the item is. So it takes longer trying to figure out what the food is and who ordered that particular item. This place was even harder because many of the menu items had the same ingredients. I personally chose the Chicken Bacon Ranch Salad. It had mixed greens, romain, tomatoes, cucumber, blackened chicken thighs, avocado, bacon, pickled onions and ranch dressing. Overall it was a decent salad. The chicken had nice flavor and it was a great mix. While the ranch dressing was tasty and herbaceous, it was also pretty intense. I didn't mind it too much. The veggies were fresh. My complaints with the salad that made it just okay, came from the soggy mix greens and the over red wine vinegar taste of the pickled onions. I couldn't even eat the onions and I love a good pickled onion.

What I witnessed while waiting was unbelievable. The hardworking young woman behind the counter was doing absolutely everything. She was taking orders, making food, handling the fries, processing payments, and trying to keep up with customers, while one other guy somewhat helped her, looked like he was new. She was literally running around nonstop and sweating so much that she looked like a football player trying to take on an entire team by herself. There were only about four customers inside, yet the operation was complete chaos. A customer before me had ordered a pizza that was made incorrectly, and after waiting 25 minutes, she demanded a refund because she still didn't have a proper order. Meanwhile, I waited 28 minutes for my chicken wraps and still had nothing. At that point, I requested a refund and left. What made the situation even worse was seeing the owner sitting outside casually chatting and sipping water with someone for the whole time that actually was also an employee while all of this was happening. The hardworking girl even went outside to ask for help, but instead of stepping in, the owner sent her back inside to handle refunds and continue preparing orders by herself. On top of that, the restaurant itself didn't leave a great impression. There was a large object sitting in the dining area covered with what appeared to be a plastic sheet, with parts sticking out from the sides. It looked out of place and gave the restaurant an unfinished, neglected appearance. If this has been sitting there for a while, it should have been addressed long ago. Customers shouldn't have to look at covered equipment or storage items while trying to enjoy a meal. This is absolutely ridiculous. I genuinely hope that young woman finds a better job with better pay because she deserves it. She was the only person making any effort to keep the place running. The owner needs to understand that running a restaurant isn't just about serving food. Customer service, supporting your staff, and maintaining a welcoming dining environment come first. Until that changes, I can't recommend this place to anyone.

The saj flatbread is a chewier pita that I really enjoyed. The jalapeno pesto sauce is more like a chimmichurri, but delicious no matter what you call it with lots of fresh jalapeno and herbs, not a ton of heat. The salad sides can be a bit bland without adding sauces, my wife loved the hummus. Baklava was walnut filled, crispy, not too drenched in syrup so it didn't get soggy. The person who helped me was friendly and courteous, could see her double checking the orders to make sure they were right which I really appreciated. The place looks and tastes like it should be full all the time, but has been nearly empty when I and coworkers have gone so lets change that, this place should be packed.

The three main special stars of the salad, were not that well represented in the serving. In other words, there should have been more of these 'highlighted' portions in the salad.
