Had the Chicken KBob with the cucumber /yogurt side. Fresher than anything I can find near SouthOC!! The best I have experienced! I will be back next time I'm up here. MY MOM FOUND A STRAND OF HAIR IN HER VEGETABLES AND WE TOLD THE SAME GIRL IN THE FRONT AND ALL SHE DID WAS STICK HER HAND OUT WHILE MY MOM GAVE HER THE VEGGIES ON HER HAND AND TOOK IT AWAY. Was not pleased. Daphne's is way better. The girl at the register didn't even know how to refund part of my order because she charged me incorrectly. So make sure you look at your receipt. The I ordered the tri tip shawarma and the chicken shawarma. They were sliced chunky and the meat was DRY. I also ordered the kids chicken kabob and that was surprisingly good. They gave me double salad when I ordered rice pilaf and salad for all my orders. I'm going to need this spot to get it together. We always order the chicken kebab plate that comes with rice and 2 sides, all for under $10 pp! Consistantlt juicy pieces of chicken breast, plus I love that I can get both babaganoush and yogurt cucumber salad with my meal. For a quick kebab fix while running errands it's perfect. read more

I like this place a lot. The lamb however is a hit and miss. Sometimes is perfectly cooked then other times is chewy. Even after you tell them to prepare it a certain way they manage to mess up the lamb texture. But when the cooker does a good job the plates are delicious. The food is great, the beef kefta is some of the best I've ever had, juicy and really we'll seasoned. Have a lot if side options;cucumber yogurt salad is one of my favorites. The pita bread was mediocre at best, the chicken was... Chicken, and the fries were an absolute waste of money. Matter of fact, this whole meal was an absolute waste. For the 16$ I spent I expected a filling meal beautiful meal like those on Yelp, not something that looked like it was being fed to victims of a natural disaster by the Red Cross. No way on earth this place is receiving another dime of my money if their meals look like this all the time. And don't get me started on the tri tip wrap my friend ordered, I'll leave that for the imagination, but I will use a single phrase, a bunch of scraps wrapped in aluminum. Whoever was in charge needs to really pay attention to what their people are doing. I heard so many great things about this restaurant but nobody will hear nice things about it from me. I was really excited to try this place when I seen the sign go up. My son and I went and got the basics. He got chicken shwerma and fries and I tried the wrap with garlic fries. I was a lil shocked by the price ($20 for me and my 8 year old) but if the foods good then it would have been OK. The portions were tiny my son got 4 chunks of meat and baby sized hand full of fries.
