Every time I have come here I have always been pleased! I especially love their brunch though. You can get their manhole pancake as a kids size! Which is awesome, cause a 14in pancake is a little too too much for me LOL. This time around I got the spinach dip omelette which was actually very good! I would get it again without a second thought. Their potatoes are soooo good. They have a house made ketchup I was never aware of until today. The carafes of mimosas(10.99) are awesome too. You can usually split it with someone and that's more than enough. Always love this place and look forward to brunches here! I had the Sweet Bastard French toast and it was to die for! Carmelized on the surface, battered all the way through with a delicious and flavorful vanilla flavor, cream cheese butter was sweet with a hint of tart, and oh so delicious. Strawberries were fresh and they give you a great big portion of French toast with brioche bread. Totally worth it. Bartender Russ gave us great service fast, friendly, and professional. Visit #2 was great from start to finish. Went to grab some brunch. First I went to the bar and ordered a Bloody Mary I needed to curve off the hangover lol and the barkeep did a terrific job. For my entree I ordered the "Chicken and Biscuits" and BOY was it good. I ordered the half because I knew I wouldn't be able to finish the full but wow I couldnt finish the meal. The chicken and biscuits had a lot of gravy and the biscuits were large, I wish I could have finished it. If you have a large party...DONT COME HERE. Not only did we make a reservation but our table was given away by the hostess twice. They hostesses were both so rude when asking how long the wait would be and told us we had to wait on a table where girls having brunch were sitting and we all know how long that goes. They said there was only two large top tables and didn't even want to put the small tables together to make a bigger table. We had a flight to get to and time was important for us but they didn't seem to care very much. Customer service/Friendliness here SUCKS. read more

Really good food but I was expecting a much larger and unique selection. It was still a good experience though. The place does seem a bit on the trendy side but that is ok. We showed up for lunch with 6 of us on a Thursday around noon - no wait at all. Service was great and so was the food. I had the meatloaf with mashed taters and it had a little bit of a twist on it. The sauce on it was a little tangy and little spicy but not overly so. Lunch partners had the large order of chicken and biscuits with gravy. It really looked good and no one complained so it must have been good. I will be back and would recommend this to others. read more

This is a pretty ideal place to go have brunch! The aesthetic is on point. Very trendy with their newspaper paper menus, high chair tables, and patio dining. It's a great place to meet up with some friends (especially during brunch! You like mimosas? $2 on Sundays!) They have separate menus for brunch, lunch, vegan...you want it? They got it! If you have dietary restrictions they will accommodate! The dishes are unique combinations and use fun ingredients like kale and quinoa and then they have wings, fries, and burgers for the normal people out there (yes I'm stereotyping but it's all for fun!). On the other hand I have to be honest and say it's loud, busy, and the service was not the best. We reserved a table in Opentable do not sure how long the wait was but there were quite a bit of people waiting so I would recommend to make a reservation! It was very loud with people yelling and lots of chatter. I would choose the patio next time so the sound doesn't stay in one area. We waited around 15 minutes for the waitress to ask us what we wanted to drink, 10 more minutes to receive the drink and 5-10 more minutes to get the lunch and vegan menu we requested. The waitress was very busy and was SUPER sweet. It wasn't her fault! The food was great! I would give it 4 stars because they didn't put hardly any chicken in my quinoa bowl . The "legit guacamole" dip is good not "legit" but good and doesn't come with chips. That's a sin Haha! The food was good! The picture says it all! First time here. Service was good. Ordered a dirty martini and received a cup full of salty something. My daughter ordered a medium well burger and received more medium rare. Staff didn't come back until after we were done. So I had a side salad and a glass of wine. They took it off the bill the drink and burger off bill. And sent us home with a new meal. "This place has $2 mimosas." "Okay we're going." Good to know that the food was great too. Sunday brunch is one of the few things to look forward to before the dreaded Monday right around the corner. Whether it's the potatoes or the eggs, something about brunch always makes it a solid choice. Quantity over quality? Why not both? The portion sizes here are ridiculously satisfying. Like really. If a place can make a hungry college student full, you know you've achieved greatness. I got the migas but after looking at my friends' orders, I definitely would have been happy with any of theirs too. The migas consisted of 3 tacos, filled with eggs, cheese, chorizo, and fried tortilla bits on top. On the side are potatoes (duh). The taste was heavenly. Each bite was a gift from the angels, who were forgiving us for skipping church that day. I do wish that the migas had more chorizo, as it was just slightly sprinkled on top, but that's my main complaint. My other complaint is that we sat outside and it was hot, but that's more of a Texas problem. The server was nice. The mimosa was solid. The college student (me) left happy. Went here for brunch and didn't really enjoy my meal. My server (Mia?) was awesome. She was attentive but not overbearing. We started out with the $2 mimosas (yasss). I got the blood orange one, but expected it to be a bit sweeter. It was good, albeit small. I ordered the french toast and a side of scrambled eggs. The french toast was basically just 4 thinly sliced grilled bread pieces with 2 thinly sliced strawberries on it. Very greasy, not filling, and not much flavor. My waitress said it was her favorite thing on the menu, but I would not recommend it. The side of eggs had absolutely zero flavor. No amount of hot sauce, salt, or pepper could resurrect them. I wish they had more sides to choose from, such as turkey bacon, avocado slices, or chicken sausage. They have pork sides but I don't eat pork. I'll probably still go back to try some other brunch options there such as a salad. Three stars for the ambiance, great service, and mimosas. read more

I came here for a friends birthday while I was on Whole30. This severely limited my options but the waitress was very kind in answering all of my questions. I ended up getting the cheese burger with no bun or cheese and a dry cesear salad with avocado added. The burger was delicious and I ate every bit of it but I'm glad I added the avocado. The only con to this place is its pretty expensive (especially for what I got)... almost $20 with tip for a burger with added avocado. Our server was Aubrey, very lovely and open person. We ordered 2 coffees (12 dollar), my husband had the French toast (12.25 dollar) and I had the scramble without potatoes but with fresh fruit (10.25 dollar). It was just PERFECT. The drinks were over priced so definitely go to happy hour (bc they were still too high). But after 2 drinks I felt a good buzz. Those moon shine drinks aren't a joke. Came out to try Mash'D at the Rim. Started off with the crab and shrimp volcano for an appetizer. I'm telling you now, if you like shrimp and crab this is where it's at. The app was amazing, we scooped it up with chips. For our plates we had the shrimp power bowl and the turkey burger. The power bowl was really good. It had fresh veggies and shrimp. The turkey burger was light but good. To drink we had the moonshine sangria, which was weak and watered down. Definitely pass on this drink. Next I got the Knockout punch which was a better drink. We also had a jolly rancher which was exactly what it sounds like. If you like candy then order this, if not it's too sweet. Our service could have been way better, our server would disappear. Love this place. Nice outdoor (mostly uncovered) patio. Mash'd meatloaf is hand's down my favorite. Husband loves the avocado toast. Best hummus. There are lots of tasty menu items and the drinks are pretty tasty. Had great service on 4/17/21 and they were busy. We have to visit at least once a month. Only issue I've ever had here is getting to go. Waited forever and I swear they forgot to do the order. 49 minutes AFTER I arrived.
