WORST MASSAGES OF OUR LIVES!!! Came here to relax, and got the complete opposite. I used to come here all the time, but this place has changed!! Both ladies were so rough, jerked you around, and kept leaving the room! So unprofessional. She was talking to the other girl the whole time about who knows what! After reading some of the reviews, I decided to give this place a shot and made an appointment with Helen. As someone who gets massage regularly due to sitting in office all day with lower back pain and shoulder/neck pain, I must say Helen exceeded my expectation and she really knew what she's doing. She sought to understand my problems and needs. Not only she was able to obliterate the stress and pain, she also helped me to relieve tension on other areas that were affecting the core problems. Booked a 60 Min. Stress Relief Back & Shoulder Massage through Class Pass but instead received a full body which was okay but I was overall disappointed with the experience. 1) As soon as I got in, I was hurried into a room w/ no question of what I was here for or if I had a reservation. 2) My therapists movements were rushed and hasty here and there but she did adjust pressure and slowed down when I asked (numerous times) 3) When I was asked to turn facing up I saw the door cracked about an inch which made me very uncomfortable knowing I had my bottom facing the door and was exposed a couple times especially when I heard people voices earlier outside the door. 4) My therapist did not wash her hands before doing my face massage. ***I will say staff was very friendly and welcoming but too welcoming and excited that I felt like I couldn't be calm during my massage. read more

I had a great experience. I scheduled an ionic foot detox for myself and my dad. I thought it was just going to be the foot detox but it included a full body massage. We both left feeling relaxed. Had the 90 mins for $80. My experience was ok, nothing spectacular. Best part was the massage and cupping. Although this was my first massage ever. The employees do not speak English too well & don't follow through the conversation due to lack of. Upon my arrival I had a 15 mins to wait. As I waited in the lounge a spider came down from the ceiling almost landing on my fiancée and the receptionist did not make an effort to do anything about it as she/he was just looking the whole time at us like it's just a spider. To add to that the place had a foul smell. At the end when It was time to pay the receptionist was on their cell and did not even have any courtesy and seem like they were only concerned with money. To add to that the masseuse was saying how her customers always leave her a $20 dollar tip. Well not me she did a great a job I don't have $20 for a tip and I tipped $10 in which it's the thought that counts for mediocre service. This is not the service you think you're getting! The picture in their listing? NOT a chair/tub that I saw at the facility. The scalp massage was clumsier and rougher than I would have used washing a skunked dog. The massage was a rushed AND rough checklist of motions that had NOTHING to do with who might be on the table. We were two to a room and the 2 employees were speaking throughout the entire hour, occasionally whispering (which was weirder in a way). Some of the tub equipment malfunctioned and the person doing my massage went over to loudly help the other person figure out what to do. The scalp treatment was just a really clumsy hair washing with lots of clattering about of hoses and plastic. Then the hair is brushed with a cheap brush like a 7 year old is trying to untangle a Barbie's matted hair. The hair had been brushed before we entered the business. So any tangles were a result of the chaotic hair scrubbing they launched into within a few minutes of having a person on the table. Some of our hair was yanked out. You could hear the strands tear. The pantyliner like eye mask was blown off my face with the hair dryer and my hair was really only dried in the front. There was water splashed and I cannot adequately describe the process we went through with towels and sheets on the massage tables. Honestly, the kindest excuse I can come up with for what we endured today is that the actual employees were tied up in the back and we received scalp and massage service from the violent thugs that were robbing the place when we walked in. read more

This morning I woke up with 2 bruises on my back near my shoulder blade and it hurts just to lift my arm. The only good part about everything was the hand and arm massage ain't with the face massage. Other then that, it wasn't worth it. If you're okay with a very rough painful massage, come to this place. But if you're looking for somewhere to unwind and relax, you won't find it here. read more

well, the start was the website after finally locking down a time for the appointment which understandably so being a holiday it would be limited. but I made my appointment for 6 PM. I arrived 10 minutes early and was told that my appointment wasn't set after I showed the online confirmation and showed that the deposit had already been deducted from my Bank I was asked to wait 30 minutes. I was told there were only three massage artists available and that someone would be coming in a few minutes later a couple walked in their appointment was set for the same time as mine 6 PM but they quickly took them back and help them. After waiting 30 minutes, I was asked to come to the back. When the masseuse entered, she didn't introduce herself. Just let me know that she's strong and if it is hurts to let her know. A few minutes into the massage I asked if this was for the sciatica and cupping combo she said yes, but continued with what seemed to be a full body massage. she did get to the cupping, but I don't think she focused on my low back legs and the sciatic nerve areas at all. she just kept saying how tight my back was which I appreciate at the end of the day. The massage was enjoyable, but it wasn't what I was looking for and it wasn't what I booked. I had hoped for more focus on that problem area, which is why I booked that session specifically, otherwise I would have just got a Thai massage/stretch. afterward, she requested a tip which I paid and I asked for her name took a card and left. It's a hit and miss type of place. When you find a good masseuse you have to keep them for as long as they are there... because usually within 2-3 months they are gone/disappear (they say either they, are on vacation, or they went back home, or they just don't know when they are coming back). This is the best place for a massage. They always seem to know where your hurting without you even telling them. The atmosphere is nice and they are very accomodating. There is hardly a wait for walk-ins but you can also call ahead. You cant beat the price. When going ask for Amber or Kandy. The receptionest Joan was extremely nice. It was raining out and she offered to walk me to my car while holding an umbrella. If i could give more than 5 stars I would. My family and I have been very frequent customers for so many years! Probably around 7/8 years now. It has gone done hill. Recently I was unhappy with the service I received, got a different lady- she didn't do it well so I tipped $8 and they told me that the MINIMUM TIP AMOUNT is $10. Now, I'm all for tipping, I always tip a minimum of 18% for decent service but this definitely was not and I don't feel tipping is a straight out obligation. If they are requiring a tip be paid to the massage tech, then they should add that to the cost directly or at least post a sign stating their "policies". There's 5 people in my family that regularly get massages here and we won't be returning. read more

I see here that other customers have been pressured into leaving a 25% tip, and today that was the case for me. When I went to leave a 20% tip (it was a great massage, isn't this the standard percentage for great service?), the lady helping me told me that it was a $10 minimum tip, which, on top of my $40 massage, is 25%. I looked around at the many signs posted and asked her, "Where does it say that?" I didn't find any sign that said that, and I guess from her reaction that question was somehow out of line. She immediately snapped at me that she would charge my original request of leaving a 20% tip, and became snippy and visibly angry, answering in one-word answers and scowling. When the transaction was done, she gave me a very clipped and dismissive, "Bye." Oh, okay. I don't understand this place. If they expect a certain payment, why don't they raise their prices? Or post a sign, at least? Luring people in with massages at a lower price point then telling them they "have to" tip a certain amount is a bait and switch, and leaves customers with a bad taste in their mouth. Why make the customer feel bad at the very end of the interaction, especially when the actual service was good? I know that I'm now not feeling great about this place, and it's a shame, because my massage was really very good (hence the 3-star rating). Deep tissue massage is good but the entire massage experience is not very relaxing. The bed I was on had a bad scent. What I really disliked about this business is that they force you to tip a certain amount. Last time I went I had a lady give me a massage with gloves. It made it VERY uncomfortable on my skin. I went back and had a make. He did not use gloves but he massaged my BUTT without asking me if he could even touch me there! NOT OK at all!! This place needs to have their men and women ask permission before touching in a sensitive area including around you private area. Also when I was done the man folded up the towels he has JUST USED ON ME! Made me question if they even wash the towels they cover you with. A TIP is not mandatory and it's definitely not professional to ask for a $10 minimum tip for a $25 foot massage. Not ok. Is there a manager or owner? After I left I looked at the receipt and realized what she was trying to say: $2 charge for credit card (which is illegal!) and a forced $10 tip instead of $5 because the workers only get paid in tips, which I'm sure is also illegal. Went in today for a hour long deep tissue massage, the person working the front desk was very nice and helpful. I did not have an appointment but they took me right in, the room/linens were clean and room temperature was just right. The massage therapist was friendly and very nice. The pressure was just right and they could tell where I was tense/sore and needed a little bit more work. Overall, it was a great massage and will definitely be going back in a couple weeks to get another one. read more
