I found Seven Falls through google search and kept comparing locations…read more I really needed to decide on one soon cause I was in so much pain with my left shoulder. So I decided to check this place out. I had the opportunity to have Kat as my massage therapist. She did say before the massage I am here to help with your pain and not hurting you. Hehe I was grateful for that statement. No pain no gain. Today my left shoulder pain is completely gone. Something Massage heights couldn't take away. I will be coming back for a monthly massage for circulation.

First, the good: the place is clean, pleasant, and welcoming. The service is good, and everyone was sweet and courteous. My friend and I had planned a little foot massage day, and this place was convenient, so we decided to give it a try. For me, a foot massage means exactly that - a FOOT massage. Something relaxing and comforting, especially for people who walk a lot or are on their feet all day. Your heels, arches, and the front of your feet are the areas that really need that nice pressure and attention. That's kind of the whole point. Unfortunately, the description of the foot massage was very different from what I actually received. And just for context, I'm definitely not new to massages. I've had foot massages in many different cities and countries throughout my travels, so I have a pretty good idea of what a foot massage is supposed to feel like. This was NOT a foot massage. I feel bad saying that because my masseuse was a very sweet lady, but she spent almost the entire time intensely pressing and poking my legs with her fingers. It genuinely hurt. I asked her to go easier, but I don't think she understood what I meant. She seemed to think I wanted less pressure overall, when really I was trying to explain that her fingers were literally poking the heck out of my leg bones. Meanwhile, my actual feet were barely touched. My heels? Not once. It was mostly constant rubbing and finger pressure on my legs, which was honestly the opposite of what I came in for. Unfortunately, it felt like a waste of money for me. I also didn't feel guilty about not tipping because my experience was genuinely uncomfortable and not at all what was advertised. I actually feel bad leaving this review because everyone was nice, and everything else about the place was great. I'm leaving this mainly as feedback for the business. Either the description of the service needs to be more accurate, or the massage therapists need to be trained so the service actually matches what's being advertised. After this experience, I personally wouldn't feel comfortable trying their other services because now I'd be wondering whether those descriptions match the actual service either. Really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, this one was a no for me. Sorry, but no thank you.

It takes a high level of knowledge and training to do that, and it shows in her technique and variety of methods. Her space is a private studio suite and beautifully designed--it feels more like a vacation retreat than a typical massage setting. Scheduling is easy online, payment is simple (Venmo/Zelle), and everything runs smoothly, never had any issues. On top of all that, she is genuinely one of the sweetest, most kind-hearted people you'll meet. She has such a calm, humble presence that makes you feel completely at ease and I always leave so happy! I can't recommend her enough--she's a true professional and absolutely the best at what she does.

After my massage I felt weird about it so I decided to look behind the mirror and it was a window with a bunch of stickers on it. I was still half undressed and someone opened the room door as I was looking behind the mirror. The door was opened 2 times while I was changing. Staff should not be coming into a room that a customer is changing in! Behind this mirror/window is the masseuse break room... I feel uncomfortable about this. I really do not know if they can see in the room or they just covered up this window gap and there is no ill intention. But the fact I don't know makes me feel strange. Once I walked to the front desk, a few people from the break room came out and -they didn't go into the room the other person from my party was in- they kept going into the room I was in and then turning to look at me. It could be coincidence but it left me feeling weird. Was I not supposed to look behind that?? If you are having customers undress it is really really weird to have a mirror/window leading to the break room... And also no one should be coming in after the service is completed and a customer is still undressed. I hope someone can clear this up because I do not feel comfortable returning as of now.

I have been a Massage Envy customer for over 18 years. When I moved to Las Vegas I located my account there. When I came back to CA I then went to Massage Envy in Lake Forest and came back to my therapist Charlotte. This lcation is very handy and close to resturants stores and other businesses just in case you have to eat or buy anything along the way. The reciptionists call us to remind us of the appointments, they are professional nd friendly, they answer questions of the many fascial and other products they have in the store front. Bathrooms are always cleaned and stocked, they always have nuts, various candies, cucumber and citrus water avaliable on the counter for you to have before or after your sessions. Check in and out is a very easy process and is quick. I never have to wait in line. There is ample parking at this location it is safe and lighted at night at the parking areas. This Massage Envy is clean and massage tables are always warm and soft, sheets and towels are clean, and there is a variety of various oils you can request if you have aromatherapy which I always get. I have been going to Charlotte for a very long time. I ALWAYS get a 1/1/2 hour massage and on special occassions such as birthdays I get the works aromatherapy always, foot scrubs, and facials. Charlotee really helped me thru some real body and muscle issues. Especially during my stage 3 breast cancer which I had surgery and have had this dreaded discease twice. Charlotte paid special attention to my back issues, listened to my request when I needed more or less pressure and she gave me stretching excercises to do that helped my recuperation. Charlotte knew how to answer my questions when I need to know each muscle that was causing me severe problems. I also have back issues with degenerative discs and bulging. She worked on my back issues by concentrating on my trigger point issues and the knots on my back from laying down so much during my breast cancer. She got me to the point where my muscle tensions from breast cancer recovery made my visit enjoyable and I felt really great afterwards. After time I was able to stand straight, my muscles were not sore or hurting. Charlotte gave me warm towels for my lower back and on my feet. She massaged my neck muscles from my stress levels of having radiation and chemotherapy. Most of all besides the tension of going thru this disease and I went thru some "pity party" sessions thats what cancer patients have sometimes she listened to me, encouraged me to not to quit and give up and she had empathy for my ongoing trauma when they told me my other breast had cancer. If I needed quiet during those down times she gave me that, if I had questions about muscle issues she was able to explain which muscles were tense by name how far the band of muscles were long or short and how movement affected some muscle groups more than others. We worked together in a positive way to get me better. She is very professional at every session and she has many positive interests while she is attending school. Bottom line this Massage Evy location is my go to place and Charlotte is my go to gal to get much relief and I always get the best care from Charlotte. read more

We went for our first massage since before the pandemic. There is nothing therapeutic or relaxing about the environment at this location. The waiting room feels like a doctors office. No diffuser, aroma or music to relax and soothe you. I specifically asked for a deep tissue rub and was promised that the therapist they gave me was the best at it with a strong rub. My therapist asked me what strength to which I reiterated deep tissue and strong. She replied stating they could not do that because of Covid-19. Which instantly made me feel not relaxed and that Covid-19 has officially ruined everything. I did not get a deep tissue massage and my therapist rubbed over the blanket for about 20 minutes of my massage. I walked out feeling like I wasted my time and money. I waited 15 minutes than my husband and walked out at the same time. When I called to voice my experience the receptionist offered me to come back at the same 70 dollar rate. I voiced my dissatisfaction to the Manager who offered a free massage but had a lot of attitude when I was just explaining my experiencing and jumped to stating that she could just note in my file that she had tried to give me a free massage. I let her know I appreciated her offer but wanted to clarify my poor experience so that the team could better improve their services to future clients. I booked the free massage for today, but I will be canceling because I don't want to even go back to this location. It was so bad I am passing up a free massage. Take your money else where. It seems that because they are a larger corporation they have lost sight of value and healing and just care about profit. Massages are supposed to be healing, therapeutic and refueling. I received none of the above and paid 170 dollars plus tips for both of our massages. My husband had a therapist who did not provide the same service requested and talked about her personal life the whole time. He said it felt like a therapy session for her. I only leave negative reviews such as this when it is highly needed. My suggestion is go to a non franchise place and support a small business who will give you great value, customer service and at a affordable rate. read more

I have been a regular member at Massage Envy Lake Forest, CA for about 2 years now. I love the idea that I can get a massage at any location in the country, but I tend to get almost all my massages at the Lake Forest location as it is such a relaxing and perfect experience and atmosphere. The place is kept spotless, and all the associates at the Spa are highly professional and FUN. Special shout out to the ladies up front, they are always in such great moods and handle everyone and everything so positively. My regular massage therapists Michael, Peter, Simon, Ed, and facial esthetician Tahlia are all amazing. The key to a great experience each time is finding the therapist that is right for you and sticking with them. The nice part about that is this Massage Envy is one of the largest/busiest in all of America. Because of this they have a large number of therapists offering a wide variety of styles. From deep tissue to light massage, and many other variations in between. Also, when you do decide to join, make sure you take advantage of the gift card promotions this location runs periodically through out the year. You can buy yourself (and others) a gift card, receive free items (such as facials or health products) and then use the gift card to pay your member fees or for massages, etc. I have noticed a marked improvement in my health (I have peripheral neuropathy in my legs and feet) since I started getting regular massages, and I recommend people who have health issues that massage would benefit check out Massage Envy. I have yet to have a negative experience with this Massage Envy, and I highly recommend Massage Envy (especially this location in Lake Forest) to anyone who enjoys regular massages and/or facials. read more

I had a disappointing experience at this location. I've been a member at other Massage Envy locations, particularly in Laguna Niguel, and have always had positive experiences. However, I chose this location because it fit my schedule, and unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. Despite arriving 15 minutes early for my facial, I was left waiting while the front desk staff took their time checking me in. By the time I was finally acknowledged, my appointment had already started running 10 minutes behind. Sitting in a quiet waiting room for 25 minutes without being helped was frustrating and left a poor first impression. The front desk apologized for the delay and assured me that the esthetician would make up for the lost time, which I appreciated. However, the facial itself was underwhelming compared to my usual experiences at other locations. I didn't make a fuss about it, but what truly upset me was that my service ended 20 minutes early--completely unacceptable. When I brought this to the front desk's attention, they apologized again and offered me an "add-on" for my next visit, which felt like an inadequate resolution for an incomplete service and poor customer service . Overall, I wouldn't recommend this location. If you're looking for a quality experience, I'd suggest going elsewhere. read more

I started to get massages in my old country at a very young age. You are either born to be a masseuse or not at all. There was no such thing at the time, about 65 years ago, to go to school to be a massage therapist. Nowadays it's different. Even back in the old country spas and massage places grew like mushrooms in the rainy season. (that means there is almost one in every corner) and yes the therapist has to attend classes, practices and pass a certification. I have been getting massages here, not as often as in the old country, since it's so pricey and not affordable for me. At last I tried Massage Envy for a few months and still trying different therapists until I got Simon by accident. I really like his style of giving massages. More like the style I was accustomed to, which is very, very good. Simon is very friendly, always welcome you with a smile and yet remain very professional. Keep up the good work, Simon! This was my first and most likely my last time at this place. First I requested an appointment through their website, I was supposed to be contacted to confirm. Never did, so I called directly and made an appointment for a trigger point massage which is for a specific trouble area with a female massager. I was told that this could only be executed by a male due to the time and type of massage I requested so I agreed. When I arrived for my appointment they told me that I had a female which was fine but what happened to the whole only a male was available?? Well, It turned out that when I got the massage it was not what I wanted, I was given a relaxation. I was very specific when I made the appointment. When I first started getting massages at Massage Envy (a gift from my husband), I was reluctant to go, feeling I didn't really need any. So reluctant, that I didn't go; instead I just stockpiled my monthly massages. Recently, I was having some serious neck tension and pain, so decided to give it a try again. Jenna dealt effectively with my issues, and suggested I have massages twice a month for the present. With her expertise and concentrated effort on my neck, shoulders and back, the tension and pain have improved drastically. I have been going to Massage Envy for over 2 years I started in Aliso Viejo and my therapist left .Since I was disapointed, I decided to try the location in Lake Forrest which was a little closer to my house. The receptionist talked to me about the type of massage I preferred. I mentioned previous sciatic pain and filled out a questionaire regarding other issues. Simon was suggested. Simon always asks me if there are any specific areas that I want him to work on and usually finds more. I always feel great after the massage. I've been getting massages here for years. Great massages. They've helped me get through a number of problems with my back (sciatica, piraformis, SI joint, IT band, etc). Always a good experience, no matter who does my massage. Though a shout out to Israel as my current favorite. Now, that I'm a bit older and have a reunion coming up, I've even started getting facials, micoderm abrasion, peels and such too. So convenient to have both in one place so close by! I have been going to the El Toro center for about a year, and have always been satisfied with my massages. I have fibromialgia, and need deep tissue release. I just experienced my second massage with a new therapist--Jeremy--and it was the best massage I've ever had. I finally found someone who knows the meaning of "deep" tissue. It is moderately painful in the beginning, but as he continued the pressure I could feel my muscles relax. Being an "older" woman, I didn't think I'd be comfortable with a male therapist, but the difference was worth the initial discomfort. I have been going to Lake Forest ME for over 8 years. I have tried other locations, but LFME is almost always like coming home. Very well managed, friendly and organized front desk staff, and some of the most talented massage therapists our there. I've always enjoyed amazing facials, too. Israel is the one therapist who has consistently helped me manage rheumatoid and osteoarthritis, not to mention all those sore muscles from exercising, crafting and home renovation projects. I've been a member for a about a year. I'd been working out for two years and didn't realize how much a deep tissue massage would help. My therapist, Megan, did a wonderful job and after a few sessions many of my issues had cleared up. Since then we've focused on maintenance. She always asks if I'm having any issues and if I do, she addresses it. I've been fortunate to have a great personal trainer and an excellent massage therapist and I feel better than I have in twenty years. read more

As always, Shannon came through with an excellent VIP facial! Can't wait for my chemical treatment in two weeks from her. Shannon is the only one I let touch my skin and I'm constantly getting compliments on how good my complexion is and there is no way I'm 65. Deep tissue massages are an important part of treating my fibrmyalgia pain and stiffness and I have seen many masseuses for treatment. But no one has ever been as effective as michael. I see him on a regular basis and will continue to do so in the forseeable future. My only complaint is that he is so popular I have to book him well in advance or miss out on sessions with him. read more

I called for two appointments when I was nine minutes away, and they did heave them but wouldn't hold the slots unless I read my credit card. I told the lady on the phone I was driving and could not read it and she simply said, "I'm sorry I have to have that to hold the reservations." I couldnt read it while driving and I was nine minutes away so felt pretty unreasonable. Check-in was ok and they were nice but when I told them about my interaction they didn't acknowledge it at all. Simply said. "Do you want the reservations?" No acknowledgement, no apology. My boyfriend's therapist was excellent, five stars, and he felt better. They come to the quiet room at 4:22 pm for my 4:15 appt. My session started at about 4:25 and ended at 5:"8pm... not the full 50 minutes promised. My therapists Cranial scalp work was excellent, but the rest was generic and rushed. She didn't even know what type of massage I was getting. When I cashed out I found out the price was $180. I though maybe $140-ish as it is nice. At 180 dollars, call it a premium spa all you want, but one great massage and one average one isn't value. Decent amenities don't make up that gap. I can't justify the price, and I won't be going back. There are better massages with much more caring people. Use them. Update. Garrett reached out to me and we had a good conversion. I appreciated his effort and his sincere effort.
