I've been going here for years, and it appears that they revamped their menu recently. They have some interesting offerings such as duck and lamb now. If you come for lunch, their dinner menu options are also available. Also if you come by for lunch, it's not as busy as dinner. This location has plenty of seating, but their location at Town Center has way more seating. The booths are very spacious as well and can fit a good group of 4+ people. I like that the food comes out from a conveyor belt next to your table. Portions are a good "goldilocks" size - not too big and not too small. The sauces provided compliment the meats as well. You can't go wrong with any option. Even the cheapest menu option has some good offerings. I thought they used to have better dessert options such as the affogato, but I could be mistaking that for another Korean spot. This place is just down the street from my house so it's a repeat venue for us. Customer service and the food quality is consistent which is good. We however like to try different locations so we occasionally visit the townsquare location but we were quoted 1hr 20 mins at the townsquare location so we drove back to Durango location and was seated at 9:00pm for a 9:30pm reservation. Thank you for that! We ordered pork jowl, beef briskets, NY sirloin steaks, steamed eggs, cold noodles, spicy tofu beef soup, bimbimbap, veggies for grilling, corn on the cob, salad, among others and that was package A for $29.99. Plenty to eat. They also have package B & C for more options. Drinks are extra but affordable. This includes the sides which are kimchi, zucchini with sesame, fish cakes and japchae. They were very generous with their portions. My only recommendation is that they slice their pork jowl thinner for faster cooking. It was thick and took awhile to cook. Also I recommend they put half the amount of noodles in their cold noodles for AYCE options. Smaller portions so you say so it's not wasted. The meat quality was good, and we enjoyed the fun touch of having the robot deliver our food. However, the overall service could have been better. Our server could have been friendlier, and some of the side dishes, such as the cucumber salad and garlic, took a long time to arrive when delivered by staff. The cilantro salad also ran out while we were there, which was disappointing. One item I would not recommend is the pistachio ice cream. It had a very unpleasant taste, and I'd suggest removing it from the menu. This place was amazing. A nice hidden gem off the strip. Not too busy but still made reservations just in case. I'm not one to complain about a place. I love it here. The food was great. Our server was awesome. The only complaint I have is that it was HOT in there. Not because of the bbq but because they barely have any air conditioning turned on in there. It made it so uncomfortable to eat. Literally felt like the Vegas heat was in there as well. Never disappoints for Korean bbq. Ayce optionC is the best way to go. Angelo was our waitier and took care of us. Always max out on the limit 1s first then make your way to other meat options. The Snow cut is our favorite and beef belly for regular meats. LA galbi is always delicious and well marinated. I like their cilantro salad, which is not common in most Korean AYCE. They now have melting cheese sliced, which my husband loves. I find the grill to be dral and limiter lighting, as the light seems to be blocked by the cooking vent/hood above. I wanted to write a review, not because I was asked to, or because there was some sort of compensation. I wanted to write this because, man, our sever Kimo was just amazing. I've been eating KBBQ and JBBQ for over 10 years consistently now, and we eat at the master Kim's in Town Square but never has a waiter been so attentive to our needs. Everywhere me or my family go to eat, we have to consistently ask for a waiter or call a busser to get assistance but before I could even think of wanting or needing something he was right there. Everything was amazing and it was busy tonight so there are no excuses for other places. Thank you Kimo me and my girl appreciate your attentiveness and attitude. Master Kim's was my third KBBQ location to have dined at in Vegas, and it exceeded expectations. I've dined at Captain 6, but Master Kim's is better. We order the AYCE option that came with wagyu selections and a large variety of sides. I was most impressed with the corn cheese size, I was expecting tiny little side dishes. The corn cheese came out in mini oval skillets that were large enough to share. The meats come out on an electric belt and they are large portions. We ordered the LA galbi, steak, wagyu, miso pork belly, japchae, cucumber salad, steamed egg and tteokboki. We were a party of six and needless to say we were done after one round. The only complaint I have is that there was a hair in my corn cheese. I'm not sure what happened but I lost my appetite after and didn't want to eat. Food was good and ambiance is pretty typical for KBBQ. We had about a 20 minute wait to be seated. Service was quite slow. The employees were hustling, but it appeared to be a staffing issue. Was about 15 minutes from being seated to placing our first order. Ran out of water pretty quickly and it was never replenished. Had to ask twice for some sides. Overall the food was good quality and pretty large portions. Some unique menu items like lamb bulgogi and cold noodles, which were both yummy. We ended up getting charged the bill of two other tables on top of our bill. Was well over $200 for a bill that should've been $70. The receipt was correct but the overcharge showed up on our institution as pending a day later. The beef was flavorful and tender, the glass noodles were perfectly cooked and well-seasoned, and the rice portion was more than enough to share. Even the sides held up well during delivery. I've been spoiled with too many amazing Korean bbq restaurants. Master Kim's was great, they have a huge variety and they taste better than many other all you can eat Korean bbq places. They have good options. I tried because I heard of the many recommendations and the proximity to where I was at. My favorite is another place far away. My grading is due to wait time- we waited for over an hour. The servers were a bit slow also bc they were busy and maybe understaffed. The vents seemed like they were not working its was basically an enter smoke house inside :) and the quality of meat was good but not great. If you want quantity definitely go - they are tasty and have many options. Just remember to join the waitlist early and get ready to eat! Finally decided to write a review for this place after coming here since the day they opened. I have always enjoyed coong here. Throughout the years regardless of how close or far my house was every time I moved. I still came here. I save my reservations and reviews for other places but somehow I kept coming back here. Not as busy and hours of waiting outside like how it used to be back then. But that's not a bad thing. There have been more and more kbbq places that opened around the South West area so it was a matter of time that some customers migrate to a place closer to where they live. Ambiance has never changed and always remained the same. Which is a good thing. I especially still like watching my food come down between the booths. Food is still on point. Once thing with Korean food it can either come out good or bad. Not by who slices the meet. But by who cooks it. Taking some of the sesame oil and applying it to the top of the grill with a spoon helps with keeping food from sticking. Especially when I'm cooking the steak. Then applying some of the sauces I top of the meat to give it flavor goes a long way. My only gripe is how small the side dishes have gotten. ( See my pics for comparison) Yes! I know! You can keep ordering more of it. Just sucks how tiny they have become from what they used to be. Small nit picking. Also keep in mind the biggest group you want to bring is 6. 6 people will fit on the biggest table. Then the smaller tables fit 4. WORST location I've been to so far. The service here SUCKS. It's 100% worth it to drive to the Spring Mountain location. Our most recent server was Jett. She was not attentive to our table. We had to flag her down EVERY single time. We saw her talking to the other servers the entire night - even though we made it very obvious that we needed something. I caught her rolling her eyes when I asked for another order of meat. She had an unnecessary attitude and was extremely disrespectful. Not happy at all with our last visit. The visit prior to this last one was mid so we decided to give Master Kim's one more chance to see if it was just an off day. But nope, even with being able to go on the waitlist from home or reserving a spot (which a lot of AYCE KBBQ in Vegas don't have available), it's not worth it. The price for kids under 4 foot is $18. If they are shorter than 5 foot it's $5 off. So basically unless your child is 1 year old or tiny, you will be paying $18 for them to eat a bowl of rice. The price is whatever, however, while our server was friendly and nice, half the food we ordered never came. I don't know if it was the server forgetting to input items or the back kitchen. We had to ask MULTIPLE times for the same items and never got 3 other ones. Of course those items were for the kids too. Not sure if it was a lack of staffing or what. Other tables who were sat after us also got their food AND the items we were waiting for before us. I think it's just ridiculous that we ask multiple times and we are literally seeing the other tables get exactly what we asked for. Their ventilation also sucks. I thought the last visit was just the fan we had because it was making a weird noise. But after our last visit, it's clear that their ventilation is not good. I hate to put bad reviews but even waiting 60+ minutes at another KBBQ spot is better than the service we recieved here especially with the amount of money they knew we were going to spend. What a bargain! I'm a huge fan of galbi jjim but it's always quite pricey, however here at Master Kim's, the 50% off promotion puts it at $41 for the spicy version + $5 for the cheese- it was a generous portion and so delicious. I got mild and only wish it was a tiny bit spicier, but the flavor was delicious. We also got a small pork bossam at $14.99 and this delicious. The pork was so soft and the sides were perfect compliment to the dish. Definitely will visit again and try the other dishes. read more

Whenever we visit Vegas, Master Kim's is definitely one of the restaurants that we almost always visit! Like most KBBQ spots, this place can get busy depending on what time you come. We like to go right when they open so that we're seated right away. This place is always clean and the service has always been great. The servers are very helpful in explaining items on the menu and are even willing to suggest items for us to try. One of the reasons why we like going here is because my kids love how the food comes out in a train next to the table. It's hard to explain, but it's such a fun experience for my kids to get the food for the table! And the ice cream at the end is always good too ;) read more

This was a fabulous place to get Korean BBQ while visiting Vegas and wanting great 'off the strip' food. Food was fantastic and prices were reasonable for the quality and taste. Service was great, food kept coming as we ordered. One more thing of note, there's conveyor belts that bring the meat to you, that's situated on either side of you depending where you sit. All cooked items are still dropped off by the waiter. It seems their exhaust system is lacking, it was quite smoky (even by K-BBQ standards) so that was not so pleasant. I've been a loyal diner to every Master Kim's location including this one, but last night I think the staff and from what I'm told, the manager, had poor judgement in courtesy and service at this location. This review is not on the food, because we didn't get to the food. I arrived around 10:35 pm and checked in with the hostess who said it would be 5-10 min to get a table ready. No problem, we took a seat on the bench. I watched as a few parties left the standard 4 person booths and the staff would clean and turn them over. After about 10 minutes the hostess does call my name to seat me. However she doesn't seat me at a table that was just cleaned, the table she sat me at had been empty the entire time. This was no issue to me, but upon sitting down the draft wind from being the very first booth in front was a bit much and I knew I would feel cold still. I flagged de hostess and asked if we could move to the same size table that was near the kitchen and that had just been cleaned. I watched the hostess go to the back kitchen and have some conversation. She returns and says, "I asked the manager and unfortunately that table is reserved and we cannot move you." I was really surprised as I'm quite sure any reservation at Master Kim's doesn't assign a table. If I were to presume, it could have been that a specific server was waiting for a specific party in their section. That's just speculation but again, I know that anytime I make a reservation, there is no table assigned. Also, the table I'm asking for is the same size table that I was seated at. While I understand sections of tables were closed, there was opportunity for management to perhaps even say that the table I asked for isn't available but I could wait for another party who was likely about to leave. This was 10:45 pm. When I go out to dine, I feel that to feel comfortable - including not being in front of a drafty door (it was cool last night as far as temp) is not a difficult ask. I felt the excuse to not move us was poor especially given it was the SAME size table. I chose not to dine there, I left. I won't be returning. read more
