We heartily endorse Stephen Lee and his Master Roofing Systems company without reservation. Our roof was over 40 years old and had to be completely replaced. Mr. Lee did a thorough inspection and showed us the MB Technology materials he would use. His estimate came in at $6200 less than the cost of our next-door neighbor's new roof, installed just a couple of weeks before. Since MRS is much in demand, it took several weeks to schedule our roof, but it was worth the wait. The MRS work crew is a highly skilled, efficient and well-coordinated team of hard fast workers. They had the old roof off and the base for the new roof applied and water-sealed the first day. It rained the next day, so Stephen and crew returned to complete the job the day after, which was dry and sunny. We now have a new state-of-the-art green technology white roof, with galvanized steel flashings and flues, copper drain outlet and a new frame covering for the light well to boot. The old Spanish tiles are replaced with new ones. It's a clean, aesthetic professional job with a 15-year warranty, but we expect it will last much longer. There were no additional charges, and all went according to plan. It was a pleasure to experience the service and quality of having MRS install our new roof. read more

My roof was installed by Master Roofing Systems. Their price was reasonable . Because of the drought in last few years, I couldn't tell how good was the roof until last year. A sudden heavy rain fall in a day. The roof was pooling about 4 inches. Mr. Lee of the owner finally show up but decided not to inspect the roof since there was no internal leak visible. He claims the roof was not built correctly , and need more slope. I tried to contact him many times and offer him a job to correct the drainage problem. No response from him ever ! read more

I received a recommendation from a quality house paint that said their work was decent. Wrong! Stephen Lee and his crew finished my roof in a quick, clean, and superb manner. Stephen gave an estimate and outlined the exact procedure his crew would follow. His is very low key but knows his business. The drain at the back of the roof he enlarged and used copper, the same as my gutters. The application of the roofing material by his crew was smooth on the flat roof. The shingles on the front part of the roof were replaced using stainlesssteel flashings. I have not seen other roofers this quality material, just galvanized cheap trim. Six years later, and it still looks great. I was up on the roof looking it at last week, and noticed that the stucco up against my neighbor's house had a crack in it. A new roof was needed on our condo earlier this year and we received a few quotes including one from Master Roofing. We choose Master Roofing not only based on price but also based on the Stephen Lee's responsiveness to all of our questions, his timeliness in returning phone calls and meeting appointments, and his explanations of what work would be done and why. This professionalism continued throughout the entire job. His crew was efficient, friendly, polite and they definitely knew what they were doing. They started on time every day and before they left, they made sure everything was neat and clean. The job started on the day which was agreed and finished as planned. As might be expected in a 100+ year old house, there was some rot found in one area underneath the old roof. Stephen explained to us what needed to be done, and his crew accomplished this as well (including repainting siding which they replaced!).
