I came to the Matern Law group in 2016 not sure of the legalities of my situation. I was scared and definitely out of my element. I was able to tell them my story and lay my cards on the table. I presented myself as I am and shortly after they would in fact represent me. It would be a 5 years process for me from beginning to end as I dealt with so many factors like keeping my household afloat, and raising a teenage daughter. I would also have to deal with my own health both mentally and physically on top of financial stressor's. Through what would become the most difficult time of my life the Matern Law Group would become my greatest advocate. They would defend me and tell my story and my truth. They and thier staff conducted themselves with the utmost professionalism and were able to speak hard truths to me. We didn't always agree but I knew they had my best interests at heart. I don't think I was the easiest of clients as I am a 100% disabled veteran and suffer from PTSD and depression. I reached out to this law firm in California to explore the possibility of a class action lawsuit against a Voice over IP telephone service provider. An associate contacted me, requesting paperwork related to my case, which I promptly sent over. After that, the associate went radio silent. When I tried to follow up on the status of my case, she ignored my requests. Eventually, I figured out that the firm wasn't interested in taking on my case. The lack of courtesy from the firm was pretty frustrating - making me wait and then ignoring my simple requests about the viability of my case.
