    Wings with chips and queso.

This is such a dive! However, a great spot to duck in, sit at the bar and eat some wings. Kid's dad had wings, I had chips and queso. Can't complain. Bartender very nice.

    Rockfish taco and chips

Not the best meal or experience I've had in the DMV. The dining area was practically empty on a Saturday night on Labor Day weekend. The bartender was generous to extend HH pricing to us in the dining area. Chips and salsa came out late, as all of our appetizers and entrees were piece meal delivered. Salsa tasted a day old, not fresh. The rockfish tacos were not cooked correctly and tasted very fishy. All puns intended. My chicken quesadilla ($13) tasted more BBQ flavored than anything. It was accompanied by a spoonful of rice and beans, literally. No one was impressed and agreed it would be our first and last time. Their sign boats best margarita in the states and ironically I could not of disagreed more.

    a plate of mexican food

I was hoping to find a real mexican place and it seems like this place would be but I was very disappointed with the food in general. We all orderd steak and our "steak" was 3 thin slices of steak, a spoonful of rice and beans. Maybe the owner should go to a real mexican restaurant just to compare because WOW. I just cannot believe the food here

    Shrimp and chicken fajitas

I ordered the margarita and it was the best I ever had! If you like Guacamole, it is a must here. I had the shrimp and chicken fajitas for my entree and it was absolutely amazing! service was great! I will definitely be back here!

    Beef taco salad

I'm so glad my husband and I decided to check this place out tonight. The food was fantastic, service was consistent and friendly and the atmosphere was clean with nice ambience. It wasn't busy at all when we were there so we had the dining area to ourselves. The bar area which is separate was more crowded but not overwhelmingly so. We ordered the Fiesta wings to start. Best wings I've had in a very long time! They were big, seasoned just right (not too spicy at all) and you get a nice portion for the price. I'd go back just for the wings! My husband ordered the chicken & steak fajitas. Comes with 3 tortillas and a good serving of sides including rice and beans. You can order 3 more tortillas for a dollar. They were very good. I ordered the beef taco salad with a side of guacamole. It's served traditionally in the fried burrito bowl. Best one I've had yet and that's what I always order if a Mexican restaurant has it on the menu. All the ingredients were fresh and crisp. Guac was great too. The owner if the place makes his own sauces too. We tried a couple of them and they were delicious. Not overly spicy which suits our taste but they do have hotter sauces if that's what you prefer. My husband also got their "award winning" margarita, which they try and sell you on right off the bat. It's quite pricey and it doesn't taste any different than any other regular margarita. That would be my only complaint. All in all, I totally recommend this place. Great food at good prices. We will be back!

Ehhh...this place was ok. We're staying in Ocean City for a few days and we were craving Tex-Mex so we decided to try this place out. I guess Matteo's is technically in Fenwick Island but it's literally like 10 minutes from where we're staying at in OC. Now I want to say that I don't really expect much from restaurants in a beach town because 90% of the time the food is average and that's exactly what we got here. As soon as we walked in the first thing we noticed was how dark it was inside. I'm all for dim lighting but it was a little too dark. The hostess was very nice and she let us pick where we wanted to sit. It wasn't really busy when we got there so maybe that's why. Our waiter was nice but just not really attentive. The chips they give you tasted old and the salsa tasted like the canned ones that you get from the store. We ordered the steak fajitas and that came with rice, beans, sour cream, and tortillas. You have to ask for guac just fyi. The fajitas were lacking flavor but I've had worse so no biggie (just add some salt and you'll be fine). The guac and rice were also lacking in the flavor department. The only foods that were nicely seasoned were the beans and rice. The tortillas tasted like those that come from a taco box kit, definitely not restaurant quality. Overall, this place was average. I would check around and read other reviews of other Tex-Mex places before heading here.

The hot sauces are homemade, the salsa tasted fresh, everything from a condiment perspective was good. Now again was it authentic, no, but come on... If you have to order two things I would get the corn appetizer - it is honestly one of the best things I've ever eaten in delaware, and then the surf and turf burrito because it is epic! Everything I tried was good. The drink situation could use some help...the margarita was fine, but i really wanted neat mezcal and that was incomprehsible to them to the point that I ended up with a mezcal margarita that had anejo mezcal in it...sad We'll be back!

The Chicago Dog would hold its own against the best Cook County has to offer (shoutout Portillos), and the Cheesesteak Dog is a legitimately delicious cheesesteak. The cheese fries also kill it. The Chef looks familiar, I think I tasted his food before at one of the Celebrity Chefs Brunches for Meals on Wheels. I remember it being fantastic. There is outside dining but I booked inside as we weren't sure how warm it would be in May. It turned out to be a cold and windy weekend so we were very glad to be inside, plus the outside tables have a view of the highway. What a cute little restaurant inside; it is very tiny. We were crammed into a table in the corner. It was difficult to get past the other diners at their tables, and we could hear all the conversations around us. Every table was packed, I can't imagine what it's like in this room during the busy summer. Noelle was our server and she was amazing; very knowledgeable and friendly. She described the homemade bread service to us, and we ordered 2 Coastalpolitans which were made with Tito's Vodka, lime, soju, St. Germaine, and cranberry. They were sweet, and tart, and bright, and delicious. We decided on crab toast instead of the bread, and Noelle said we made the right choice. Wow, she was correct. The crab toast blew us away. It was chunks of crab on fluffy, crispy milk bread with pickled scallions, radish, lemon aioli, kelp powder, and lime. So beautiful and so delectable! RJ ordered the Pork Chop, which Noelle said One Coastal is known for, and I ordered the NJ Day Boat Scallops. We had no words. We sat there and quietly enjoyed every bite while listening to the surrounding tables, and knew we found a maybe not so hidden gem. My scallops were delicate and buttery and sweet, and melted in my mouth. RJ said his pork chop was tender and juicy, and the best he ever had. That is saying something. We finished with bread pudding because who doesn't love a good bread pudding, and we like to try it whenever we see one that looks interesting. It was salty and sweet and just so perfect. What One Coastal lacks in space and view, it makes up for with food and service. What a delightful place, and Noelle was a pleasure and a joy. We will definitely return to try all the other things and be lucky to sit anywhere inside or out.

I've been telling my wife for the past year how much she'd love it and it definitely didn't disappoint! My parents arrived in town earlier than we did and stopped here for happy hour without us, but we all made it back later in the week. A must try if you love oysters & clams -- just make sure you arrive a little before they open (4pm) because the bar fills up quickly!). We started with the star of the show, the raw bar of course! Between the 4 of us we had multiple orders of clams and oysters. We love oysters and a good buck-a-shuck is so difficult to find near us in Jersey, so we had to take advantage of this one. The oysters and clams always taste fresh--we've never had a bad one here. The calamari is tender and lightly breaded. The burger is a phenomenal deal served with their house-cut boardwalk fries that are to die for if you're a French fry aficionado! The food, both quality and prices, makes Catch 54 really stand out compared to so many other bars and restaurants of similar stature. My aunt loves crab cakes and said Catch 54's crab cake was phenomenal. Better than many other crab cakes she's had locally. Our drink orders included draft beer, the Sunset Spritz, and the Pineapple Martini (which was delicious and on happy hour!). The bartenders were great! Friendly, personable, attentive, made great drinks, and even remembered us from last year. That's unbelievable considering the number of customers they serve every night. Aside from the incredible, food-forward Happy Hour & daily Buck-a-Shuck (including weekends), another thing that sets Catch 54 apart from many other local restaurants we frequent in the area is the updated, modern decor and upscale, yet still casual, aesthetic that hits you as soon as you walk in. I've yet to experience anything but happy hour, but it feels like a place I'd take my wife for a dinner date. My only disappointment comes from myself -- I was only able to stop n once during our annual vacation but we made the most of it. Next year I'm going to make it a point to stop in more frequently.
