My mother and I brought some rings here to be sized as well as some old items to sell. They did a good job sizing (especially sizing my grandmother's ring to my mother's finger since my mom is a much smaller person but it fits very well; also the two I brought have scrollwork around the stones and nothing was damaged/it looks perfectly new). Their prices are a bit high, but look for coupons in some of the local coupon fliers. Also selling the scrap metal offset the cost somewhat, so if you have anything you're not wearing, why not get a few bucks out of it? Overall, very pleased with the service and quality. Turnover time was about a week on mine; mom is also still waiting for them to source a stone to fit a setting where she lost the original one (which could take time, of course). read more

Sadly, my wife claims to have enough jewelry and gets mad when I buy her more. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I went to this jewelry store to have a watch repaired. My first visit was pleasant. Staff there were very nice, accommodating, and respectful. They repaired my watch; however, only days after, it was broken again (Note: no big deal. I was not worried or upset about that at all. "Stuff happens"). I took my watch back today to see if they could fix it and there were two different employees at the front of the store. Both were ignorant, rude, and completely unacceptable communicators. They spoke to me very poorly (as if I was at fault for the poorly repaired piece of jewelry). Especially the man. He was nasty. I sure hope that's not the owner. WoW. Not someone you want greeting or serving customers. He was a pompous jerk with no class. I will never go back to the store again. There are wayyyy too many other jewelry stores with better customer service than this location. At a time like this when people are losing their businesses, you would think they would know better than to treat customers like this! Avoid this place if you can. You deserve better and better businesses deserve your money. Professional development is needed for staff. They did give me a refund per my request so I will take my business elsewhere. We had never looked at rings before so we were a bit nervous going in to our appointment but all those nerves went away once we were greeted and helped by Steve and Judy. When I called and expressed my concerns the owner was offended and was rude. He ended up letting me pick out another ring because he refused to refund us the money. I can't say enough good things about Matthew Erickson Jewelers. From the excellent customer service of the two salespeople we worked with (Leanne and Judy), to the fair pricing and solid diamond education we received from the manager (Steve), to the skilled craftsmanship of their in-house jeweler (Carlito), our experience from start to finish was wonderful. Outstanding!!! We were out engagement ring shopping and were getting frustrated and overwhelmed very quickly. We decided to head towards a large shopping area to look at lots of options when Matthew Erickson Jewelers popped up on my Google search. They had amazing, consistent reviews so we headed there. Wow!!! They are amazing. We worked with Leanne, who educated us about diamonds and helped us make our decisions while making sure we got what we wanted. She was very patient with our multiple questions and while we decided what we wanted. In about 2 hours we had our ring design and stone selected and had our financing figured out (layaway worked best for us). I have the ring now and my fiance and I both could not be happier!! Judy was absolutely amazing in finding the different styles I was interested in and calling me on a weekly basis to stay on the same page. Matthew Erickson's staff made me feel extremely comfortable during the process and I would definitely recommend to anyone if given the opportunity due to the high quality of the customer service and the product itself. I have been shopping for a vintage wedding ring for my wife. When i found there store over ten years ago. the service and selection is by far the best in the area and if they dont have it they can make it. I had them make seveal personal sets of custom earings for my wife who can only wear leaver back style earings. No only were they able to cange them from post to leaver backs but they aslo wer able to take my ideas amd make them into reality. Over the years they have far exceded my expectaions and the prices i got for being a loyal customer are first rate. They even will go so far as to give you apprasies on your items you buy for your insurance records if you ask for little or no charge. Excellent customer service! I recently purchased an engagement ring a couple of days before a vacation trip, on which I planned to propose to my girlfriend. My plan was to pick up the ring on my way to the airport but time didn't allow. As I would be gone for 1 week, I started to think about a backup proposal plan upon our return home. 2 days later, I was contacted by Judy as the owner wanted to see if they could next day air the ring to me at the vacation location. Does not even deserve 1 star !! Stay away from this place.....Met with Steve in order to have a diamond reviewed and possibly purchased by this jeweler. Steve advised that he could only offer $750 for my diamond but would give me a store credit of $1500. Stated that he can purchase diamonds from China cheaper. ALL OTHER JEWELERS WHO LOOKED AT THIS STONE OFFERED ME $3500 +. My diamond was appraised at $8,700. Do not buy or sell from this place!! read more

I went into their store on a whim -- looking for a right-hand ring for myself. I purchased a white gold 1/2 carat TW Journey ring from their clearance case and it is quite beautiful. After wearing it for a few hours, I decided that the ring was not as comfortable as I had hoped it would be. I went to return the ring only to be informed that they would only issue a store credit since it was a clearance item. I was not informed of this policy at the time of purchase. If I had been informed, I would have not made the purchase immediately. That being said, I would only purchase their clearance items if 100% certain of my decision. Just thought I would share this with others. I will shop there again as they have lovely pieces that you don't see in the chain stores. read more
