Initial Review, plus an additional need for Matthew's Plumbing Solutions: Our attic gas hot water heater was at the end of the life cycle so I was starting to send out quotes to be replaced. The next day, late Friday, I noticed the tank was leaking and started scrambling to remedy the situation. On Saturday morning, I called Matthew's Plumbing Solutions and got the voice mail and the emergency line (unfortunately, it wasn't working properly), so I checked their website for additional contact information and sent them an email instead (around 8:30 in the morning). I got a quick response from Matt's wife and a phone call/email around 9:30. I discussed the situation with Kimber, and she worked with Matt to find a tankless hot water heater that I was interested in installing THAT day. By 11:30a, Matt was on-site and planning for the installation. He recommended we get the hot water heater out of the attic and into the crawl space where there was plenty of room and could utilize the re-circulation line efficiently. By 630p, Matt and Sam had the unit up and running and job completed! Great customer service when I was in a pinch, and at a fair price! I highly recommend Matthew's Plumbing Solutions, and I'll be using them again! As noted, I'd use them again and did... two weeks after the tankless installation, I had them come out and replace my Pressure Regulator Valve (PVR) as Matt suggested I replace that soon due to high pressure in the house line. I have a Navien recirculating tankless water heater that was starting to act up and Matt was one of the recommended service professionals listed on Navien's website. I emailed Matt asking his opinion of the repairs I'd need and I received a prompt reply back to my message. Matt and I emailed back and forth quite a few times to determine the best course of action. We ended up on agreeing on a service for the water heater as well as replacement of the recirculating pump and water flow sensor as these were most likely to give out soon given the problems I had been having. Since Matt was going to be at the house, I had him hook up a slop sink in my basement workshop during the same service call. On the day of the service, Matt called to let me know that he had just picked up the parts and would be at my house slightly ahead of schedule. Matt completed the repairs in the estimated time and was a consummate professional throughout the service call. It's not often that i find repair professionals like Matt. I just want to speak on how much of a Good Samaritan Blake and Wayne were!!! Today I caught a flat tire and everything was working against me, the daylight, jack was too short, spare tire was too big.. It was the worst! Wayne and Blake were heading down Capital Blvd when they saw me on the side of the road and they stopped without any hesitation to help me get my spare tire back on my truck. This speaks BEYOND their dedication to their craft of plumbing, but to their willingness to lend a helping hand when they could have just went home after a long day of work! Blake EVEN went back to his shop and got a bigger jack to get my tire on my car. I've used Matthew's plumbing on two separate occasions. The first more serious service call was when the water heater went out. The technician came out after 6pm, for no extra charge, evaluated the problem and fixed the water heater all in the same day for an extremely reasonable price. They walked me through everything that needed to be done and why my water heater had stopped working. The second time was to replace some leaking faucets at the house. He told me to go to Home Depot and buy whatever faucets I liked because it would save me money! They replaced them. We have a Navien tankless water heater and wanted to understand how they qualified for their Navien Service Specialist listing at Navien... Made an appointment to provide preventive maintenance work on our unit. Matt called to indicate he was on the way a little earlier than scheduled. Called Matthew on a Friday for a nasty shower drain clog. Not urgent so scheduled it for Tues. By time he arrived it seemed to have corrected itself. He was very careful to ensure there wasn't a problem - taking his time to run water in different bathrooms, flush toilets and check back & forth to ensure everything was good - and advised me to avoid extra diagnostics that would add expense.
