The sales associate Shana Albertsons was phenomenal. She was friendly, helpful and had our best interests in mind. Extremely upset with the service we received at this store. We ordered a mattress on September 1st (an almost $4,000.00 mattress), we were told that it would be delivered October 1st. When it was not delivered, I called the store and was always told "it should be delivered any day, just keep an eye out for a confirmation email". I called probably once a week to get an update, no one could tell me anything. We figured it was a supply chain related delay so we would give it some more time. Come November, I started to call the store again. NO ONE could tell me what the heck was going on, I finally started to get upset due to inconsistent communication; I am normally very patient and fair. Come December, I call the store again and apparently my order is no where to be found...something about them changing computer systems and I was "the one ordered that fell through the cracks". So here we are, two months over due for our mattress delivery, with no order in sight. During this time I even had issues with staff and management calling me back for an update! Quite ridiculous. When I we finally got a confirmation for delivery on JANUARY 7th, I asked the store manager for a discount or some type of compensation. He stated that he could throw in a few pillows, I said I do not need any pillows and that I would greatly appreciate a cash discount. He stated that we had already been given a discount at purchase, and I replied to this by saying "oh you mean the first responder discount?" he stated yes. HOW IS SOMEONE GOING TO USE THAT TYPE OF DISCOUNT AGAINST A FIRST RESPONDER? Uncalled for. He finally settled on a $200 discount "when the mattress gets delivered" and he would put this back onto my account. Not sure how he got how $200 would be acceptable from an almost $4,000.00 purchase and a three month delay, but at this point I was done. The mattress was FINALLY delivered on January 7th. After this, I confirmed that it was delivered so I could get my pitiful $200 reimbursement. Fast forward to today, February 17th and I still have no reimbursement. The unprofessionalism, lack of communication, and disrespect I have endured at this store will never happen again. I will never recommend Mattress Firm to anyone. As for Jim the manager, your store is lacking big time. read more

I went in just to look around, I'm not looking for a new mattress I was just curious but the rep kept on asking me a bunch of questions after I told him I was just looking and wasn't in the market but he still kept bugging me I got uncomfortable. At Sleep Number when I was looking around the reps weren't bugging me and following me around and asking me a bunch of questions. I am new to the O'Fallon, IL area coming from California and I was looking to replace my current mattress as I have been using it for years and it was time for it to go the way of the dodo. We walked into the store and were instantly greeted by Shana, she expertly explained the process for selecting a mattress and didn't try to push us in any particular direction. We described what we had previously and what size we were looking for. After going through the process which was enjoyable and no pressure(unlike car dealerships, hate those places...Ugh!) and after going back and forth on two different mattresses we decided to get both. One is a king for the master bedroom and one is a queen for our guest bedroom. After walking in to browse with the mindset to come back in a few weeks we walked out with two new mattresses that will be delivered in a few days, the whole process was enjoyable from beginning to end and I would definitely recommend this Mattress Firm to anyone that was in the market for a new or extra mattress. read more

Where do you go when you want to spend $3000 on a mattress set? Mattress Firm! The price tags were the very first thing I noticed as I walked into this place. Naturally, the display mattresses had the heftiest tags. Maybe I'm not a seasoned mattress owner, but after sitting/lying on many of them, I couldn't really tell the difference between the clearance options in the back for $300 and the more "luxury" models. We were greeted immediately upon entering and assisted, which was refreshing. The saleswoman was, above all, incredibly informative about everything I had questions about. They had a couple difference financing options: one involving a credit check and one without. They also offered a nice "refer a friend" program. Your friend gets $50 their purchase and you get a free gift (not entirely sure what the gift is because I didn't think to ask). As I was only looking, I did not make a purchase, but I would return here. read more
