The manager directs me to the manufacturer multiple times to get new parts until the 120 days return window is closed and then reminds me that returns are not possible. I'm told that I am valued and will get a call on Monday and on Wednesday have to call back and wait more days. Sure, they give you a "good deal" which means sell you crap and then figure out a way for you not to be able to return it. My family and I are big advocates for supporting local businesses rather than big box companies. However, we expect from all, big or small companies, respect and exceptional customer service. This is not what I experienced at this store. I went into the store looking for a sectional and possibly also a dining table. The salesperson was very attentive and willing to answer my questions. Before purchasing the sectional, I decided to check out other stores that same day to make sure I was getting a relatively good price and wasn't missing out on something else. I returned to the store the next day with the intention of buying the sectional but this is when it turned.... I asked the salesperson if the price for the sectional was the best given I saw another couch very similar at another store for less. He told me to speak to the owner regarding the price. I told the owner that I saw a similar couch for less and he told me they weren't the same. Of course I knew that! I asked him what the difference was and he gave me a short response - the quality. Ok... that was a general response so I asked further, "what about the quality?" He answered, I don't know how to explain. After a few seconds, he said.. the fabric.. warranty. Alright so then he asked me "is this your first time buying a couch?" And I said, yes. He then looked at the salesperson and said, "you see". He then said, "how old are you?" I responded, 34. He then he said "you're researching like you're 17". I was dumbfounded. It was insulting as if age had anything to do with this. He was alluding to my ability to purchase furniture, lack there of. I walked out and will never return. He tried to say that I "looked 17" which was even worse given I am a grown woman and want to be treated as such. Age has nothing to do with shopping for furniture!!! If I didn't sound "informed".. take the time to educate me, your customer, as that extra step may take you a long way! Maybe it will get you more business vs. losing it. Respect and customer service is key!!!

However, within a day or two of delivery, my husband's chair stopped working. I called the store on a Sunday, not expecting anything more than a few suggestions of what to do. Instead, a technician arrived at our door less then an hour later. He was unable to fix the issue. Peggy ordered a new chair, it was delivered within a few days and its been working great since then. Their promise to make sure that we were satisfied with everything was definitely fulfilled. I would truly recommend both their products and their excellent customer service!

I recently took my in-laws furniture shopping at Bob's Furniture, and we had two very different…read morecustomer service experiences. First, I want to recognize James W. He greeted us when we arrived and was incredibly patient, kind, and knowledgeable. He took the time to help us configure the furniture in different layouts so my in-laws could better visualize how it would look in their home. He never rushed us and made the shopping experience enjoyable. His customer service was truly 10/10. Unfortunately, another employee, an older woman with short red hair, left us with a very negative impression. She made inappropriate jokes in front of my in-laws, and she falsely accused my children of damaging furniture when nothing had been broken. My children were simply trying out the furniture, just as many customers do, and they were under my supervision the entire time. Her comments were unnecessary, unprofessional, and made our family feel uncomfortable. It's one thing to politely remind customers of store policies, but it's another to make false accusations and embarrass families in front of others. I hope the store or regional manager takes this feedback seriously. While James provided exceptional service, this employee's behavior was disappointing and detracted from what otherwise could have been a great shopping experience. I hope she receives additional customer service training so future customers are treated with kindness and respect.

She asked lots of questions, searching inventory online, and helped find 3 mattresses that were in stock, in my budget and the type / comfort level I was looking for. I was even able to put one bed-in-a-box into my car that night so I had something to sleep on. the other 2 mattresses were delivered the next day. Carlicia was very knowledgeable and helpful, a true gem. Sometimes it's worth going into a store instead of buying online. In this case, it definitely was.
