Not the kind of donuts that can sit a long time, they have to be made to order and they're deep fried. You have to order the gluten-free donuts at least eight hours ahead, so don't bother going there thinking you're going to get a gluten-free doughnut. :( One donut cost $3.50 and toppings are an extra price. They're very dense and not like traditional donuts. They kind of remind me of the refrigerated premade biscuits-donuts my mom used to make from the package from the grocery store when I was a kid... The concept is nice, but I just don't like the wait.. it took 15 mins to get one donut. After surfing I decided to try one of their donuts as they are an all vegan business. They are all cake donuts; however, since they are plant based and I happened to be on the island I thought to give them a try. I ordered a churro donut that was made fresh to order. The hole in the center is not your usual round circle it is shaped like the island of Maui. I saw this little booth during a farmers market so wanted to check them out during their opening hours. My husband wanted some coffee so it was a good opportunity. They had this coffee and Donut deal that was great ( coffee + donut =$4). You get a grande size coffee with a donut. If you get donut individually, it would have been $3+/piece depending on flavor. When we first got the donut, I was slightly disappointed because it looks soooo small. However, omg, the texture outside was amazing! It was like a crispy texture, almost like a churro texture and the glaze was thicker than most glazes. The flavor combo was really good and supposedly goes really well with the coffee. I had these type of Donut before but never found a place that does them, I'm sooo glad I was able to get them here. Its almost like a cake donut texture but with a crunch outside and softer on the inside (not sure how to describe it) It was good enough that we went back the next day and got another combo and tried a different donut. The texture was still amazing. Service was also on point, the first day, we asked for recommendations and the guy confidently gave us one without hesitation and he was on point. Heard great things so I had to check it out for myself. Since dad treated the day before I wanted to surprise him. Checked online first to see if they were open and what there hours were. Fortunely a few of these food trucks are still open. I called them up and they were only open until 11am. Okay placed my order and then drove over. This was the first time ordering there so I had to google directions. It's located near the triangle. Just pull into the parking lot next to Tim Horton truck and a plant nursery. Placed my order and let the cashier know that I was picking up. She was still mixing the ingredients together.It was only a few minutes wait. There were also a few tables to sit and eat. Ironically, I first heard & tasted these at the gym last year. The curiosity of them being vegan & my love for cake donuts drew me in. I must be the minority with this review but I ordered the favorite 5 and I wasn't really impressed with the overall flavors. I'm not really a big fan of cake donuts as I don't find them to be light and airy like a good donut should be. The far majority of the flavors that I had were simply decent, however I did like the basic churro one.
