Went in today at around noon, there was a Hispanic female helping customers and was very terse with an elderly woman ahead of me, once my turn arrived I greeted her and was met with a stony face, she rang up my items and asked to scan my ID, I'm a senior citizen, but okay, my wallet allows for scanning in place, specifically for this purpose, she said, in a nasty tone, take it out, I told her it's designed to be scanned in place, she again insisted, in an increasingly agitated voice, take it out! Knowing it would only irritate her more taking time to remove my license, I told her to put everything back, I'll go elsewhere, which I did, another in the same chain, and was met with a pleasant cashier that obviously liked her job, this isn't the first bad experience here but it will be the last for me! read more

I have been a customer for decades and just recently was informed that Maverik and Cum n Go refuse to hire people with face and neck tattoos without just cause or any evidence that having such in any way shape or form has any bearing on the quality of work one might give. If you continue to utilize their services, you are engaging in active discrimination. This is of course your right. I however will never spend another dollar with this company. read more

Gas pumps are consistently crap. Can't just pay for it at the pump like a normal gas station. Have to see the cashier and get a magic code, and then hope you're in front of a pump where the keypad will work. read more

Love that this location is so conveniently located. The staff is always super nice and the store and bathroom are clean. They also have good food items. I've had the pizza which was inexpensive and tasty, and I love their hot dogs with a ton of topping items perfect for everyone. HUGE plus that this store is open 24 hours for when you're in a crunch. read more

Store #550 on 7812 so. highlands loops road west jordan,I stopped in to get gas 9/11/2023 approx 5;00 pm unloaded 4 gas cans put my credit card in pump screen said to see cashier, walked into store no one waiting at the counter believe name of employee name was "Carson," i asked him to reset pump so my card would work in it told me to see other counter person i asked other person to set gas pump so my card would work in it , 2 other cars on gas island swiped their cards and pumps worked, prior employee told me qoute, " watch it", i said what ??, he told me he could refuse service to me if he wanted too !! why do you have a employee working there with a attitude like this ?, the female employee then told me i had to leave my credit card she would give me receipt with code then come back in store to charge my card ,again i asked to have pump reset so i could use my card on the pump , again other male employee Then told me he would call the police . this is treatment i get for stopping at your store for gas ??? as many fraudulent claims made on credit cards why should i leave mine to sit on a counter were other customers can see it or even you employee copying my numbers and security code on card ? And why did they not reset pump from prior use is that not their job? and refuse to do it when i asked ? Are the pumps not out there with card readers on them so your customers do not have to walk back and forth 3 times and expose their credit card info at risk by leaving it on a counter in store !!! i loaded up my empty gas cans and left went to maverick store on 90th south 5600 west unloaded my cans swiped my card on pump and it worked fine !! filled my cans and left , i will not go to your store on 7800 south and 6000 west again and i encourage other people to get gas some where else !! i will be filling a complaint with maverick corp ! also your employee tried to hide from getting his photo being taken for this complaint !! read more

The food here really sets a new bar for "gas station food" I would trust Maverik with sushi. They are always clean, and there burritos are good about 75% of the time, and that's what keeps them from 5 stars in my eyes, every week I buy 4 burritos from them, and 2 of them will always have hard rice, and to much sauce on the meat. Even with this I highly recommended trying there sweet pork burritos on Tuesday (who ever makes them Tuesday is better) read more

This is a follow up of my previous review. I emailed the corporate office customer service and in their response they justified the $150.00 hold on my debit card for a $23.00 purchase. $150.00 hold on a person's card is absolutely ridiculous, for some that is groceries that have to be put on hold, luckily I don't live paycheck to paycheck but it's the principle of the fact. I responded with intent to get something done about the manager's attitude, I have NOT heard back. I am a maverik rewards member but I will take my business somewhere else! read more

No photo but I usually have great customer service. I come In at least 2 to 3 times a day since I live nearby. My husband asked me to pick up a regular item he always gets which is next to the sandwiches in the cooler area right when you walk in. So I took my time to look I didn't see any I looked again to make sure before I asked for help. There was a woman who was standing in that area and I asked her if she worked there and she just kind of rolled her eyes and said yeah. I asked if she had anymore if The item that I'm looking for. She said they didn't carry it and she didn't know and I said are you willing to go look or ask somebody else and she basically pointed out the door like referencing me to leave so I just told her customer service was awful and I went and I asked somebody else that individual had said that maybe it's a morning item but he will go check so he went and checked I just didn't appreciate this woman and then she's trying to argue with me and I just had to walk away from her. I never experience poor customer service from this Maverick every Is usually very friendly and nice overall. I didn't appreciate how I was treated and I hope upper management works with her on her customer service. read more

Maverik Adventure's First Stop - a display of food in a grocery store - Convenience Stores Near Me - West Jordan, Utah

This one is very, very buried, basically as far west as 7800 S. can take you before running into some pristine land still not entirely developed...at least for now. This is another of the larger ones with a hot kitchen, Cinnabon and no real base to utilize either of these currently, but build for the future, one supposes...of course, being newer it is also still fairly immaculately clean. The usual selection of packaged stuff is here, but I'm guessing they're paring back a bit on filling the heat lamp sections as ready-to-eat stuff is a bit of a mixed bag.
