Grossly incompetent and disingenuous techs and management , a perfect example of what a company can be for hiring DEI's.Got my car towed in for a tire change.Asked me to leave the car since they were backed up!Fine!They called in day 2 citing that my front suspension needed to be changed , and I gave them the go ahead.Called back again citing that my lug nuts for the front wheel needed to be replaced , gave them the go ahead!Paid them $1600 for the job.Discovered the car had ABS and Traction control lights on the dash and decided to take it back for them to check , since I knew very well that these lights were off before I took it in in the first place.Dropped the car as usual for them to check.Called in to check in the progress and Chris cited that the ABS sensors went off and if I was aware that someone tried repair them in the past and did a sub par job and as such , they were not to be held accountable to the issue.Told him the car never had that issue.Remember, this car only started displaying this after they worked on it and there is a higher chance that the techs messed the sensors when they did the suspension or the lug nuts and there they were now absolving themselves from having messed it up.Tried charge me $500 for the fix.Even tried offer a $200 off as a compromise (according to a guy called Chris) but refused because I knew they messed my car up--Sent someone to pick the car and they couldn't explain why they didn't call us the same way they did about the suspension and the lug nuts as needing attention and all they did was shift the blame on the technician which I found to be ironic especially where Chris claimed that they are transparent to their customers . Having driven the car for a day , I smell plastic in the engine .I don't know what it is but it's plastic smelling and I also realized they must have tempered with the wiring for my fog lights(one is off and was fully functional prior).I am really worried if they did not sabotage my vehicle after I labeled them pathetic liars over the phone.Will come back with an update after I take my car to another mechanic to be checked.My gut tells me they may have sabotaged over me voicing my concerns. Am also worried about how many customers have been gaslighted the same way I have been into paying several dollars simply because the technicians knows customers are unassuming and knows nothing much about mechanics.Having spend $1600 on this car and a further $1400 on four tires for my other vehicle this year alone at Mr Tires Roswell ,I am not getting back here to be swindled and I do not recommend Mr Tire Roswell to anyone.My suspicion is that when you drop in your car , they would already know how much they want you to spend on your vehicle which is absurd!Go spend your money elsewhere not here!To the owner of this business, stop hiring DEI's.They know nothing and they mean no good to your business!Am Also taking this review to Carfax and other online platforms to save unassuming customer for this unethical business practice. read more

Matt and Brett are 2 of my good friends and they never disappoint me. they're not ones to mess around and tell you false information. i've had ac and radiator problems and they fixed it right up and now my truck is running smoothly (minus the struts and brakes but they're gonna fix it right up). they're amazing at what they do, have a great team, they don't over charge or under charge. you get great results from the money you spend. read more

Came here for the first time today because my car was stalling due to low oil pressure. While waiting for a manager to come out I spoke with another customer who said the technicians here are amazing - always a good sign. Sure enough they took care of my issue immediately and I lost no time getting back on the road and home before my kid's nap time. The service was a great value too, more than fair. I've taken both our cars to this Goodyear a few times in the past years, since they're conveniently located just down the street from my office. The most memorable have been the following: The low tire pressure warning had been coming on, and despite us checking the tires, and being told that it's sensitive to the weather change, the tire wouldn't stay inflated, so it was time to get it fixed. Unfortunately for me, I'd apparently run over some kind of construction waste and had not one, not 2, but three holes in the tire...oops. So needless to say, a flat fix became a new set of front tires... The work was done fairly quickly (less than 2 hours), and I waited in the shop since I'd brought my laptop. They have a small waiting area with a TV and coffee, and I believe wifi, though I'm not sure since my work computer doesn't play well with public access networks. Recently, J had been complaining about his brakes. Being the best wife on the planet, I agreed to take his car for the day so that I could get new brakes (and an emissions check for the tag renewal). I called around 9am, and they were open, so I drove over. They had a technician drive me back to the office in the car so that he could assess the brakes himself. They called a little over an hour later to say that the front brakes needed pads and rotors... so yes, it was time for new brakes. They also said they would clean the back brakes. After I gave the approval, it was about 2 hours until they were done with the car. Unfortunately, they don't do emissions testing, so I had to take the car to a different shop for that. The guys in the front office are very friendly and do a good job of explaining. I can't help but feel that they find things that I don't necessarily need, but I could just be paranoid about that with all auto repair places. The technician who dropped me off was a little unprofessional in some of his comments, including jokes about my college v. his college, but maybe that's why he's a technician instead of a manager. #Yelp365 - 111/365 read more

You know that feeling you get when you take your car in for service, like they're talking down to you and trying to sell you things you don't need? Didn't happen here at all. Whether our distrust of mechanics is fair or not, customer service is rarely great at these places. I assume that's because mechanics have spent their time learning how to fix cars rather than the finer points of interpersonal relations. The guys I interacted with at this Wood and Fullerton location seem to be handling both pretty well: They were friendly, communicated clearly (no small thing), were up-front about the costs, and my truck feels great after getting an oil change, tire rotation and new brake rotors and pads. And they did it in just a few hours. They even passed on an opportunity to go hog-wild with repairs when I told them my gas tank leaks when I fill it up all the way. The guy explained that they could replace the tank and fuel pump but that he would just keep doing what I was doing (which is to not fill it up all the way.) I appreciate the honesty, but more than that I appreciate the confidence they gave me in my vehicle. I spent about $460 and I have no idea if that's a fair price or not. But I left there feeling like it was money well-spent, so maybe I'm just a sucker for a positive customer experience. Also, I've put so little money into my 1996 Ford Ranger that I'm almost happy when they find something to fix. read more

I would give no stars if it was possible. Me and my family have been there 4 times and each time was either over charged or no help at all. And 4 separate cars. 1st - Check engine light was on. I was told there was an enormous amount of "gunk" in the engine and it would cost about 700 to repair. 2400 bucks later, it was resolved. No parts, all labor. I kept getting story after story why it would take longer. It was there for 3 days. I asked for pictures of the engine before they started work. After I get the bill, I asked to see the pics. All of the sudden, they knocked 800 off the bill. Of course, no pictures. 2nd - had a trunk leak and the battery, which was in the bin under the spare in the trunk, got submerged with water. I was charged almost 800 for all sorts of electrical component repairs. original asking price was just over a thousand until I started questioning labor charges. They said I needed new terminals as well. They replaced nothing but a fuse because the old terminals were rusty and still there, and the wires were spliced and poorly tapped up. Had all sorts of electrical issues with the car after. Ended up getting a buddy to fix it and he showed me where they did nothing but replace a fuse component and said it couldn't have been more than 30 bucks and 2 hours labor for everything. 3rd - Car wouldn't start. Had it towed here. Said they couldn't figure it out and because it was diesel (sedan not truck) that it had to go to a specialist or dealer. Had someone jump it, and brought it to another shop. It was the alternator and it was repaired no problem. 4th - Truck stuck in 4 wheel drive. They couldn't figure it out. Recommended a truck shop 4 miles away. Went to the mechanic shop across the street, they fixed it within 20 min of pulling it in to the bay. Guy told me, if you get your maintenance and oil change done today, I won't charge you for this simple fix. Wish I would have told people in my family about my bad experience so they wouldn't have had their own. Now, everyone knows not to use this hack spot. From now on, we go across the street where they are fair, honest and grateful for the business! read more

I will never go back to this place again! The manager is very rude. There was a misunderstanding because he did not tell me he was switching my type of oil, based on a note from probably 2 years ago in their system. I offered a coupon because that's what I was using and he got irritated with Me, because he used the more expensive oil I did not ask for. My car uses conventional oil. He decided to use synthetic oil based on a note that was 2 years old at least. This is no longer a regular spot for me, and I now remember why. Sure he gave me the oil change for free, Of which I was not asking for. I got it with a big slice of attitude. I wanted to pay them, but I wanted to pay them the coupon price I intended on paying.The staff that used to be here when it was Mr. Good year were amazing and friendly. I joined YELP to write a review for this company! It is really hard to find a mechanic that is trustworthy and knows his stuff. Especially when you are a female as car people love to lie to us! My family has brought our cars here for years. Kevin is the best, most knowledgeable, and most trustworthy person I know in the industry. Even though I have moved and they are no longer the closest Goodyear to me Kevin will still consult me with all car "issues." I mean even when he is not getting my business he sits on the phone with me and tells me if quotes are fair and what follow-up questions to ask. Got groupons for oil changes throughout the past year. They always get me in and out quickly and are friendly and to the point. They have never tried to to sell me some BS they know I can do myself but let me know if they see anything that needs to be fixed in the future. They also have a small waiting area with water and coffee (it's no Starbucks but nice touch regardless) They are also right next to a Wendy's so if you need a snack that's a plus as well. I have never purchased tires here, but I have had my cars serviced here many times. It can be tough to find an honest mechanic, but these guys have taken good care of me. They don't try to nickel and dime me. They are upfront about costs. They are also upfront about what they know and what they don't know. If they aren't sure they can fix the problem, they say so at the beginning. Call ahead to make sure they do the type of work you need done. They don't rebuild transmissions, for example. read more

I had my vehicle towed here because it was a "AAA approved" garage and it was only 2 miles away. Never again. After paying a $95 diagnosis fee, Wood & Fullerton told me that my ignition lock cylinder was worn out and needed to be replaced, and that the repair was going to cost over $600. (The diagnosis fee did not count toward the work to be done.) Their itemized account of the charges included: -$189 for the part (A quick internet search shows that the part can be purchased for under $50 from multiple auto parts websites. I ended up getting one from GLK, where the technician told me he gets them in bulk from Chrysler for less than that, and that a reasonable price for a mechanic would have been in the $80 range.) -$190 for installation -$190 to code the part to the key -$47.50 for "additional research" to figure out how to do the repair. Consider that mandatory 1 star your reward for at least being honest that you had no clue what you were doing, W&F. After doing some research online, I discovered that a locksmith would be better equipped to do the repair and less likely to screw my car up in the process, not to mention charging substantially less. Obviously I opted out of W&F's highway robbery. When I went to pick up my car and pay the diagnostic fee, they tried to charge me the "research" fee even though I didn't have the work done. They removed the charge, but come on. It's obvious they are just out to squeeze customers for as much money as possible. Fortunately I was able to find an excellent locksmith who came to me, replaced the part in about 20 minutes, and charged $140 dollars. If you're ever in need of an auto locksmith, GLK "The Car Key Specialists" were fantastic. Today I stopped around 11:30 at the Wood & Fullerton Goodyear Tire & Auto Service Center at Dunwoody Village. The power outlet in my car had stopped working. This was devastating to me as I can become completely disoriented and lost without my GPS. I stopped in to see if I could get an appointment as soon as possible, as I have to be able to wait for my car (since I have no other transportation). Even though they appeared to be very busy, one of the guys said "Let's take a look", and just like that, he found the problem, fixed it, and didn't even charge me. While it is true that I have been a customer there for years, nevertheless, I was very impressed and very happy. The thing is, that's the way they have always been. I always recommend them to my family and friends. They are good, fast, honest and trustworthy, with competitive prices. When you go there for service, you feel you are in good hands.
