From bowling to laser tag to air hockey to basketball to a bar to ping pong and connect four outside. YES. The employees are so pleasant and very information. The mavrix burger and veggie burger are BOMB. Peach ring mule taste like juice so beware if you have too many, always drink responsibly. This is just like every other event zone type of place that has an upscale-ish feel to it with the bar, restaurant, and bowling along with an arcade similar to Dave and Busters (but smaller scale). The food was good and they have a cool spot in another room that can be rented for parties. We also went to a party in there and it was great. I'll definitely come back and bring the kids for a fun adventure day. Omg this place is flipping pricey. $160 for 2 hours of bowling. Geesh. It's a super cute place. The ambience is really chill with a electric fireplace in the middle with couches and chairs and a bar and then all the video games and bowling next-door at octane which I guess is like the sister company they have ax throwing go karts more video games then mavrixs has laser tag as well so there's so much stuff to do here huge place oh they have outdoor area that has like Asher turf and it has lawn game so like giant checkers and corn hole and all that stuff so really cool place but goodness gracious pricey. read more

Cool arcade place. They have bowling, laser tag, arcade games, food and drinks. They have nice open areas to sit big parties at the restaurant, always a plus. Their menu was a bit of hit and miss. Their nachos, fries, wings and pizza were great! We also ordered a pasta dish not so great. The drinks were good, beer options were good too. Now, for the arcade area I would say it's it as big as I thought it would be. The games they have a lot of them is those that you see at the grocery store with the claws that s hard to win anything lol if you go on a Wednesday arcade games are half off. But I will say it can be a pain with kids under 5 on the arcade not much for them. We went out to celebrate an ASU graduation -- a proud moment for our family -- when the "manager," Shawn, singled us out and told us we had to leave because we seemed "drunk." We weren't loud or disruptive, just joyful and proud. It was clear his judgment was based on nothing but the color of our skin. We had a company event here and had a great time. I love the decor. The employees were very nice and took care of all of our needs and then some. Brianna was excellent. We had bowling, games and food/drink. The food (pizza, salad, cookies) is made from scratch and very good. This place is great for family, friends, and company events. They have a private room that has bowling lanes and tables for a private event. We had to many for that room but it's really nice. This place is not your typical bowling alley. read more

We had the most wonderful experience posting a 9 year old birthday party here. From the moment I reached out to start booking a party with Daryn, the service and responsiveness from their entire team was next level amazing. The prices for the event were very reasonable, the event was flawless, our service from Kayla was absolutely outstanding, and the kids had a wonderful time! The SPARK lanes were SO fun... it's worth the upgrade for a kids party. The food was also really good for an "activity" spot. We are coming back for more "family and friend time" at Mavrix. Stopped by to pick up a pizza and some appetizers prior to going to the Phoenix zoo. Even though the venue was almost empty, the server was not attentive to us, the food was below average, with the wrong size pizza, delivered to our table, and way overpriced. Not to mention that it was burnt, but we had no time to wait another half hour for another one. Lastly, even though I had a $50 gift card from Mavrix, I was told that it was purchased by Bowlero now and they may not be able to honor the card. . 20 minutes later, they figured it out. Came here on Saturday after lunch and bar hopping around. It was my first time here and the place is similar to Main Event. They have a big dining area, a bar, games and bowling. Can't remember if there was anything else? It wasn't busy at all for a weekend day. We started at the bar and he had already ordered me two drinks. After realizing one of the mixed drinks was tequila, he ordered me a different one because he knows I don't drink tequila. Not sure what it was called but it was pink. The second one had rum (I think) and it was a green drink. His drink was just a tequila soda lime. Bartender was friendly! After we got our drinks, we went to play some games. They have a lot of the same games as DnB has. Can't remember if they're the same as Main Event but Im sure some are the same. Didn't walk over to the bowling area so not sure how many lanes they had. I have no idea how much the games and drinks were since he paid for everything so I can't say if it was expensive there or not. We had fun playing the games though! read more

We spent NYE at Mavrix. We had an amazing time and the bowling experience was exceptional. We had a slight hiccup at the beginning with the reservations that I made; however, the manager, Lauren, definitely went above and beyond for customer service and was able to provide us a delightful experience. We had family visiting from Korea and it was their first time bowling ever. We also enjoyed some beverages and fish and chips. The food came out very hot and fresh. I had the kickback koolaid and it tasted so good you wouldn't realize there was any alcohol in it. We spent our time in the VIP area and were treated very well from the server named Alaina. So friendly, attentive, and nice. Thanks I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Families or adults or kids. We had a large party of 11 and we were treated with respect and everyone had a high level of customer service skills. Thank you Mavrix! Thank you Lauren for making our NYE special and memorable! Worst customer services staff. You will notice how bartenders, waitresses, and waiters stand around the bar and hostess stand just socializing or on their phones. We went to watch the Suns game and our waitress did not introduce herself to us. She hardly checked on us to see if we needed anything. The food was terrible and generic. The staff were so unprofessional and dressed horribly. When we went ordering drinks at the bar because our waitress never came to our table they refused us because we didn't know our waitress's name. They should have had one of the 5 staff members standing around on their phones, find out her name for us. The manager was a 21 year old name Brady that was very unhelpful and poorly trained. We had been several times in the past and enjoyed it for the most part. Unbeknownst to us, they apparently have been bought out by Bowlero. Therefore, our play cards we had previously received did not work. The menu online had images of fish tacos but that was completely taken off the menu. If you're vegetarian or pescatarian- GOOD LUCK! We explained our diet issues and they had no options for us. Just a "sorry about that." The games are now nearly double the amount of points and our kids barely won any points. By far the worst food imaginable. Pizza was raw cheese was not even cooked if that's what that was. I don't even think it was real cheese. Cheeseburger and fries such a disappointment. Fries must've been sitting in a tray under heat lamp. Cold limpy oily fries terrible. Quesadilla was not cooked. Cheese was still as it came out of the bag. Bought $96 worth of food to be totally disappointed. Server was horrible although I still tipped. This will be a place that I will never ever go to again. We came to bowl , just my nephew my husband and I and not once were ask if we wanted anything to eat or any drinks etc. not sure why not since all the other guest around us were served. We went for the bowling, there were five in our group and it was $40 for an hour. I thought that was kind of pricey and it did not include the shoes. We got one game in and I didn't really like the alley, it was not a standard size as the middle pin was stacked . We played one game in the hour whereas at AMC we played for an hour and it cost us half the price . There is a nice seating area and a video arcade and the place was clean. They do play music but the background noise drowns it out. They did have a server if you want to order anything while playing. Mavrix is an abundant entertainment center, they have a wide variety of fun to choose from. The arcade is very modern and keeps you engaged. The bowling was a little too crowded for my party to get a chance at playing unfortunately, so make sure to plan for bowling accordingly. There's a handful of different food options which were vouched for by my party, but I only got the chance to eat at the bar because I was drinking. The bar is very central and good for sipping on brews with friends while scoping out the surrounding activities. Overall it's a very lively place, reminds me of a casino haha. read more
