Took the kids I babysit here a bit ago. The services is really good! Very attentive! It's $30 an hour for up to 6 people on one lane, we were almost done with the game and our time was up, but they let us finish without charging. The kids liked that you could pick a theme for tv's (where the scores are). The food was good, kind of small portion, and it was typical pricing. The lanes do have the settings for bumpers. You choose the people who want the bumpers and when it's their turn, the bumpers will go up. So it's nice that everyone doesn't have to use the bumpers. Seemed really cute how they decorated it. Everything is very new. I could see this being a good date night or people getting good instagram photos lol There is a bunch of things to do in here! Could easily spend 5/6 hours in here with the kids! Something I don't really like is that when you pay for the lane/shoes, it asks for a tip. This isn't a tip for the server, this is a tip for someone who gave shoes/started the game. I tipped the server, which you should tip people who are serving. Just gets annoying because sometimes people expect a tip just because there is a line to do so. It's just awkward. But it's their business, this is just my two cents. read more

Read past reviews on trying to book a birthday party here. Slow response time and Lindsay tried to take advantage of me by quoting $1300-1700.00 for a kids birthday party of kindergarteners. When I addressed her on the quote being so high and that we didn't need all that food (they are 5 years old - they don't need a buffet of 3 entrees and 2 sides refilled for 2 hours) she responded that she could offer me 10% off the package if I booked immediately instead of addressing my concern in overpaying for too much food service. I sent her a quote directly from their website that stated 25 kids, 2 hours of bowling and an arcade card with pizza included was $695.00???? This sales manager, Lindsey, is greedy and trying to take advantage of people. I refuse to give them my business. She also took 4 days to respond and expected me to book right away. She has zero urgency but expects it from customers. Looks like we'll stick to Dave and Busters. read more

OMG where was this when I was a kid?! This knocks everything else out of the park. We love the arcade and the bowling and have loads of fun. Each of our kids have cards we can reload and that save their tickets on. Highly recommend for all the family fun read more

Just had an event here for my husbands 40th birthday!! Matt the manager was awesome came & checked on us to make sure we were good! We had so much fun bowling , playing games & laser tag. The food was really good as well! My only con was I thought our server could have been more involved in communicating our timeline & checked on us more. I felt it was very disorganized at first. Spending a lot of money you want the best customer service & to be checked on by your server/ coordinator. Overall we had a great time though & the events consultants were awesome to work with. read more

Somebody screwed this bar up. The food used to be really good in the bar and I actually took a visitor there who is foot who is in from out of town. When they gave us the menu I was embarrassed. Chicken wings and tacos and basically crappy bar food. This used to be a go to place for my entire family. No longer. We came here for a friend's birthday party. We had a great time and the service was phenomenal. The only thing that was disappointing was the wait to get into a bowling game. I would have been a little less irritated by it if they didn't tell us the wait was so long because people were extending their play. If people are waiting to play, they shouldn't allow people to extend their time. It's only fair to let everyone get a chance. Another very pricey bowling alley. This one costs $40 per hour (we squeezed in 3 games) and $5 each for shoes. We were not impressed by the scoring system on the board either. The bowling balls did not have multiple holes like at Bowlero. The arcade part of this place was much better with lots of carnival style games that I haven't seen before and decent point levels for prizes. read more

Six of us 'senior' citizens had the BEST time bowling today at Mavrix. The staff was SO welcoming & even took photos for us. After 1.5 hrs of bowling, we had a GREAT lunch at the restaurant. All the sandwiches were delicious. Our group plans on making bowling a monthly outing! Hopefully, our scores will improve; but having a fun time is most important. Give Mavrix a try. read more

The non-profit I'm apart of held their Christmas party here last night. It was really fun. We had buffet style food, chicken, pork, Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. With Caesar salad and different flavored cheesecakes for dessert with strawberries on the side. Our server was awesome, I think we had two, but the one I remember seeing the most was a short blonde girl with really pretty and intense red makeup. She did great. I'm so proud of how well she handled everything. I'm sure she was overwhelmed and wasn't expecting double amount of people to show up. Idk if I would be able to handle a big group like that mostly alone, and I've worked in the food industry many years. We had 2 1/2 hours of bowling, 2 hour game cards and drink tickets. The 3 things I would like to point out that lowered my rating is that we paid for 2 games of laser tag and they gave our second game away to someone else, the second group waited about 35 minutes for when they said the second game would start and they gave our time slot away. I was pretty bummed, I didn't get to play. They tried to say we could have a later slot but our party was only advertised until 9 and a lot of people had to leave and didn't want to wait until 9:30 to play. . They also moved us into another room and we hadn't finished all our banquet food and they wouldn't let us bring the rest of the food over to the table. We had an entire tray of Mac and cheese and they just wasted it. The other thing is they couldn't quite get a mojito right, I tried about 3/4 different bar tenders and it just was either too watery, too sweet, or too strong. There's a happy medium that no one could hit. However I also had 2 bloody Mary's and those were great!!! The mojito thing isn't so much of a complaint as it is just reviewing the drink. I'm not upset about it or anything. The one that was too watery was even replaced for me when I asked. The bartenders were great, all the servers were super nice. I've hosted around 20 events here through the event department. I want to say it's been amazing every single time but the truth is that it hasn't been, it is super hit and miss. I've had events where the buffet for our event had people that weren't part of our group going through it. I've also had events where there wasn't nearly enough food but then I've also had the exact opposite experience. I'd say consistency isn't a thing here. Everyone always has fun which is why we keep coming back but I'm always a little nervous and wondering what will go wrong this time. read more

We sat by the pool tables and our sever stopped by to tell us there was a party there in 2 hours, and never came back. Cool place for kids and adults. You can buy packages or go ala carte for bowling, laser tag, billiards, tons of games and more. The whole place is clean and well maintained. Only a couple games weren't working while we were there. Food is just so-so and has room for improvement but drinks were a good pour and reasonably priced. What a great place to bring your family! The atmosphere is relaxed as this is NOT a hardcore bowling place. Its set up for fun, food, and drinks. The arcade is huge and looks new. The kids loved seeing who could get the most tickets at the end of the night. Our food was good with good size portions, and the drinks were very tasty! Next time we are back we will try laser tag looked fun but seemed closed. All in all a wonderful family night out. read more

This review is LONG overdue and I hope it's still well received. Matt, one of the managers is one of the most patient, kind and customer service oriented professional I have ever experienced! He really goes above and beyond, we are regulars there and have been since Mavrix originally opened. We had an issue with a game card we had collected several hundred thousand points on over the years and during a combining of cards adventure, some of our points were lost. He took the time to fully investigate the issue, reviewed our card history, redemptions and thankfully our cards were registered to our names but yet it still took additional time and effort to research this for us. For a family that saved these points for years, my boys were devastated when they thought they were gone, but Matt came to the rescue, he was patient, understanding and thoroughly listened and helped us find a resolution. Not only is Matt wonderful to his customers, you can tell his team members respect him, when he's in the building, his team is thriving, you never see Matt without a smile, even while he's running around, helping his employees and managing multiple priorities. He never made me feel like a burden with this issue and thanked me for my patience as we waited for him to investigate for us. I can't imagine how many responsibilities he has during a normal shift, but he truly makes people and their experience seem like they are most important. Thank you Matt, for delivering a world class experience for those around you. Your leadership is admirable and I hope you are aware of the impact you make, not only to the children who look up for you to help them find their missing points but also for those who witness your leadership in action. I hope senior leaders at Mavrix (or I guess it's Bowlero now) take the time to read this and take the time to recognize your invaluable work and dedication to your job. Any Main Event or Dave & Busters is better than this. This place was historically bad for customer service and organization. It could very well be the worst I've seen. We went here to celebrate a marriage in the family. You can't reserve bowling lanes apparently? Good luck planning. We showed up at 7pm on a Friday anyway and were told there's nothing available until 10:30pm. There's barely any lanes there!! What do we do now? Drive somewhere else? We decided to just do dinner there instead since we already met up there and there was no good alternative close by. We were sat at a big table with 4 menus prepositioned. The server never acknowledged that we had half the menus and tableware we needed even though the group was double what was set up. Then there were the teenagers. They were directly behind us literally screaming their faces off together straight into our souls; a giant booth full of them with no adults. We tried to ignore the nuisance but they were so loud you couldn't hear yourself think. It was painful on the eardrums. We tried to get server attention and were walked by despite making eye contact with multiple workers and finally asked the hostess to move tables and they were not hopeful at first saying other tables were reserved. After they gave us a solid maybe, we sat back down and soon after luckily they moved us. They never addressed the psychotic teens though. We moved on from that since it's technically not the restaurants fault, even though it sucks that the tables had no dividers for sound at all and there should be a limit to how disrespectful children can be before complaints take precedence. Another table straight up left after staring at the kids table in frustration. Now for the worst part! I'd say dinner took about 2 hours here. 20 mins to get water, 20 mins to get orders in, 20 mins to get an appetizer, 20 mins to get the drinks that never appeared on the first go around, not to mention only half of us got waters that we asked for. This may be an underestimate of timeframes. 4 menus and only 4-5 waters for a group of 10? We got our beers and drinks at different intervals, some before the food, some in the middle, some right before the check, but never got everything we asked for. I have no idea why it was so bad, it was steady but not crazy busy looking in there. Our server said there was a big party but we hardly ever saw them walking around and when we did they were standing by the bar doing nothing, so I have no idea where they were all night. Every other server I memorized their faces in my search for ours, but our server was never among them. When they did show up it was very brief and impersonal, and we were never truly checked on as you would imagine at a restaurant where they verify they got everything or maybe ask if anyone needs anything else. Very very basic service and so drawn out between check-ins that we could have had 3 tables come and go at a normal pace in the time we sat there. We were there so long we may as well have gone for the bowling lanes at 10:30! We were never asked who needed boxes, we were presented a couple and asked if they were enough. Prices were comparable to Rainforest Cafe level of ridiculous. I can't explain enough how bad the experience felt, and how awkward it must have felt for my sister to invite everyone out to the most miserable celebration we've all ever experienced for such a pivotal moment in her life. I have nothing else to say but yikes for this tiny disorganized, unexpectedly cramped, horrible establishment. Waste of money and time. read more

Absolutely terrible service. Party of 10 - waiting at our table for 10-15 mins before we were even greeted. Been sitting for an hour and food is just now coming out. We had bought $20 unlimited passes - $200 worth - which we won't get full use of due to the food taking so long. When the food did come out, it's all lukewarm, some we didn't even eat. Manager was very dismissive when we shared our concerns, offered $50 game cards and nothing else - interrupting us as we shared our concerns. Not even willing to comp unlimited passes even though we spent over 1 1/2 hrs in the restaurant just trying to eat and they close soon. Update: casey the GM was awful, not even sure how he's a manager. But Matt the OP manager was amazing and went above and beyond to try to make it right. read more

This is a review of my experience with attempting to book an event at Mavrix not the actual place itself as we chose a different party location due to the terrible service I am about to describe. My daughter was wanting to hold her 9th birthday at Mavrix and so I submitted the request online and also called and left a message for their event coordinator. The event coordinator finally sent a generic email the next day but then was completely unresponsive for over 3 days not answering any questions or emails despite my sending several emails and also trying to call them attempting to finalize the deal, so we ended up going with another location I was able to book immediately. It was a bad experience and a total waste of time. read more

My family & I just had the best time at Mavrix. We've never been before and had a blast! We started off with bowling and then on to the arcade and games and prizes. I wanted to recognize Ariana she was so kind and helpful really all the employees were but I felt like she went above and beyond for customer services. The place was very clean from the bowling section to the bar area restrooms and arcade. They had a notable beer selection. We had just eaten before arriving so I can speak to the food but my husband did notice they have a fire oven pizza so maybe next time we will eat there too. Make sure to check in on Yelp to get a discount on bowling I checked in after so just saved it for our next time there which will be very soon. Y'all - don't fall for it. We have an 11 year old and a 6 year old and $50 was gone in 5 minutes. Chaos and no explanation for us or the kids on varying prices for games. Yes, some of that responsibility falls on is as parents but man, if all you want is to sit at a table for an hour and eat lunch with bawling kids begging for more credits and wailing things like "I didn't know!" then by all means, this is the place for you. read more

We have been here many times as it's very close. Last night we had a party of 9 and had the best waitress named Kelsey in the bar dining area. She got everyone multiple drinks and lots of food, split the checks for us and made ZERO mistakes!!! She's in top of it. The food here is average at way above average prices, they constantly take off our favorite items. It's never our first pick but you won't leave hungry. I do like the decor and large TV's and they have a great selection of beer. 5 stars for server, 3 stars for food. read more

KJ at the bar thank you for all your help! You were the only bartender that was helpful in the dining room- wish I could have tipped you directly . Went to the center bar and they didn't even acknowledge we existed after about 15 minutes we left to the dining area- at this point- take my money we just want drinks. Joe seemed to not have the time of day for us when we asked for recommendations of drinks. We asked what good gin drinks we could mix and he looked annoyed just by the question. Tried to reserved bowling at 7:30 and they couldn't promise a reservation by 11pm. It's first come first serve so good luck. Food was meh. Drinks- thank goodness to Jordan- were amazing.
