Probably the worst manicure I've gotten. I'd been growing my nails out for weeks because I'm in a wedding this weekend and wanted them to be long and pretty. I showed them the first picture (my nails last month, bright pink color) and this is what I got. Additionally, I picked out a light pink color and she started painting my nails a deep lavender. I told her that wasn't the color I picked out and she came back with this one instead. My nails are now too short to be fixed somewhere else. They are lopsided and almost pointy, claw-like instead of almond/egg shaped. Nothing like what I asked for. And because the color is sheer, you can really see from the tips how lopsided they are. read more

Drove down from Indy to visit my daughters and decided we all needed a nice treat of a pedicure. They cut my daughters toe and it was still bleeding an hour later. The manager knew about it. I went back in because I thought they over charged me. Once that issue was resolved I asked what they were going to do about the toe. He said that just happens sometimes. I said the least he could do is a gift certificate towards a future visit. He said no, that just happens sometimes with a smile on his face....the mask can hide the mouth but not the eyes. Very rude and I would not recommend them. We had an appointment and they were rushing because they were over booking and accepting walk in clients. read more

I've been here a couple of times and have had my dip last for only a few days. Again, this is dip, which I supposed to last at least 2 weeks. Last time, ALL my nails were left cracked in just two days. Even the pedicures have chipped within a week. Such a bummer because it's so close to me. read more

I've been here probably six times. They always do a great job and are friendly. The issue is that they allow you to make an appointment but you always wait for an hour or so once you are there, regardless of appointment time. It's very frustrating. It's okay to not take appointments and be walk in only, but don't agree to appointment time and not respect the agreed upon time. I would come here for every manicure/pedicure if they could work on this. read more

I haven't had a dip nail session before without a manicure, soak cuticle attention, etc. but I had to ask both times and the second time, it never happened. Also had a pedicure the second time. I really wanted it to be my go to nail salon because it is so conveniently located but I've had probably 8 manicures there and left unhappy with about 6 of them. My gel nails always have bubbles in them and don't last more than a few days without peeling. My patience is admittedly thin for businesses that claim to make appointments but then operate on a first come, first serve basis anyway (as it's happened to us now three times in two weeks). I completely understand everyone is short staffed but why pretend to take appointments if you can't actually do it? I made two appointments and the first one started 40 minutes late, so I canceled mine. The nail service my daughter finally got was fine, but I had to get a sitter to do it so it cost me quite a bit more than I was planning. Fine if you have unlimited time, but otherwise probably skip it. read more

I got a deluxe pedicure today at Maximum Nails & Spa and I am so impressed. The place is spotless and the staff was professional and kind and committed to sanitation and Covid safety. The pedicure was incredible and worth the splurge. It included all the basics plus a great scrub, parafin wax and even a hot stone massage on top of the already fantastic massage. First off I have to say that the employees are always so friendly and always joking around and laughing at their coworkers they make your experience super easy! Some of us have a lot of difficult task for them and I have never once had one tell me no! I bartend downtown and my nails go through it but they do a combination of some acrylic (my middle and pointer fingers that break off or tear the most), topped with dip, and gel polish finish. Yes it is a little pricey but honestly worth it they last and hold up really well. Today I went in and had a photo of nails that I wanted to do and it took a few tries but they didn't give up and the finished results are perfect! Highly overpriced. I went to get a fill and they said they weren't able to so I had to remove my gel nails and then have them re do the entire process over. Also by the end my nails aren't even filled fully and it looks like I already have grown out nails after 24 hours. Without a question, the worst service in East Nashville. Though I have tolerated some things before, having gone there out of convenience, I just left there tonight. My daughter and I showed up at 3:10 pm and she was going to have her tips removed (they were already falling off) and a gel manicure. They told us 20 minutes. After about 25 minutes, they called her and brought her around the corner. At 4:20, my daughter texted me saying it has been a long time. I seriously got up to check on her thinking she was going to be done any second. They took her tips off and left her there for 45 minutes sitting there while at least two other walk-ins got helped. I told her we had to leave. She had tutoring and then they asked me to pay $15 for ripping her tips off and leaving her nails a mess. I paid but I will never go back. This was awful service (or lack thereof) with no apology. read more

Once is enough...... I made an appointment yesterday for a mani/pedi. I waited just shy of 30 minutes for my services to begin... the pedicure water had already totally chilled. The overall experience was poor... she was helpful in picking a polish color, but it took too many coats and definitely doesn't match the price.. the nail tech cut my finger - not a knick when cutting my cuticles, but cut my finger nowhere near my cuticle that actually made me snatch my hand back... service was poor and my nails are only blah.... I was too tired and upset to even fuss. Lesson learned... stick with my usual. read more

I took my daughter out for nails with mommy and they did a great job on hers and she was so happy!! (she's 6) but if you aren't a kid and aren't willing to drop $$ for more than your basic mani and pedi it's like they don't even care to make much effort. I still had tons of dead skin around my nails. she also painted my nails before putting lotion on them so my cuticles are as dry and damaged as when I walked in. I also got two nice nicks with the trimmers. Very nice staff and didn't have to wait long but would not recommend to anyone but maybe a children's salon day. read more

Nail technician didn't ask how short and took off my whole nail. I asked which nail shape would be easiest for the technician as I was not picky, we agreed on an almond shape. She gave me a very short square. Then while checking out, she charged more for one dip manicure than the other.
