Food was delicious. We ordered a pineapple fried rice which was fluffy and flavorful. Then ordered the cashew chicken sans red chili peppers and a tofu vegetable dish with white rice. The menu is extensive with always a choice to add your choice of protein. Service was friendly. A steady stream of customers came in. Place was cheerful and clean.

The flavor of this dish was real good. There was plenty to eat. The big drawback was that the chicken leg was impossible to cut with a butter knife. Although they did provide a separate plate you can use to cut it with you really needed a serrated knife to delve into it. The chicken was cooked but it's too much work to cut it up. I ended up in part just biting into the leg to eat. A bit messier. Serve this dish with a proper knife and I'd up the rating to four stars. Service was okay.

What a lovely find. We went to dinner and a movie in Alameda. And this place was walking distance from the Alameda theater and cineplex. Service was excellent. Food came reasonably fast and was delicious. They had plenty of gluten-free options. They use gluten-free soy sauce so can make just about anything gluten-free. I was really excited to try their Pad kee mao and we also ordered their spicy eggplant Both were very good.

Fast and attentive service, great food, beautiful restaurants. :) Located on park street. Came here for a quick Thai lunch and was not disappointed! Hint: ask for the spice tray!!! There's nearby street metered parking, but if you don't mind a short there are residential neighborhoods nearby with free parking.

Delicious comfort Thai food! Everything we ordered was super tasty and had such a comforting Thai taste. Servers were so nice and accommodating even though we came an hour before closing. They constantly came over to check on us and poured us water. The interior was nice and we sat near the wall where we had nice, soft pillows behind us!! Papaya salad: so refreshing and spicy! You can order more or less spice depending on your taste. One of the best papaya salads I've had! Pumpkin curry: so flavorful and had so many veggies inside! So good when paired with rice. Pad Thai: Packed with umami flavor and so saucy. Really good with a squeeze of lime! Fishcakes: it came with fried basil and it paired so perfectly with the fishcake. Golden brown and just delicious. Everything was very well priced and I definitely would come back!

Easy to find free parking in the area after 6pm. I came here after a recommendation from a friend that this is her favorite Thai place in the bay. The staff were lovely - very friendly and helpful. I also really loved the Thai tea! But otherwise the food was just good - not quite a new favorite spot for me.

A hidden gym in a not so hidden place. I was shocked at how much I'd like this place. A quick yelp search and boop! May Thai popped up. The ambiance is cozy with an impressive lucky cat collection. The service was top notch and I appreciated how my water was always filled to the top. I definitely was extra hydrated throughout the dinner. I highly recommend ordering the Khao Soi and the Beef Pad See Ew. Both dishes were delightful and kept me wanting seconds... I mean, thirds. I haven't had a pad see ew where the beef required painstaking chewing in a longgg time so this dish was extra delicious and was done so well. The noodles were flavored perfectly and the beef def had some Maillard reaction going on due to the wok hei of the dish (a true sign of chef master skills). As for the Khao Soi, the coconut curry aromas were ever so fragrant and the chicken leg/thigh size was giant! These dishes just kept delivering. Now I must find more reasons to go to Alameda to try the rest of the menu!

    Cashew dish

We were there around 2 pm. There were 5 tables of customers. The roti was excellent warm crispy, I wish the curry sauce was thicker that the flavor is more concentrated. Chicken larb was very tasty. Cashew nut dish was not too impressed. It was like veggie stir fried with a lot of sauce and a few cashew. Service was slow since there was only one waitress. She was very sweet and polite. We left around 3 and they put up the close sign. I hope they are doing well. It is a different time these days for mom and pop restaurants, everything is too expensive for them to operate the restaurant business.

Pad kra pao for $25 is absurd!

Good food. Great service. Horrible pricing. $25 for pad krapow is absurd. Especially since their pad kee mao with 5-6 huge shrimp was only $19. How does an easy to make dish with inexpensive ground pork and steamed rice cost even $6 more? Make it make sense!

Had dinner here Saturday night with my Bro & SIL. Cute little restaurant with low-key nice decor. Clean and bright. Parking is street only, so keep your eyes open for a good one as you may have to drive around a bit- especially on a weekend. They have a vegan menu! This really helps with ordering. I had the mushroom dumplings, and pumpkin curry. The mushroom dumplings were excellent. Pumpkin curry was pretty good. Overall, a really good dining experience.

Any time you eat at a restaurant on Park st, parking is going to be a bit time consuming. My mom and I decided to get some Thai food. It wasn't super crowded when we got here for lunch, maybe 3 or 4 other tables. We were seated and given water and menus really quickly. We decided on the green curry with brown rice and pad kee mao. Loved the presentation of the heart shaped brown rice. The plates and bowls were nice too. The green curry was perfectly flavorful, everything was cooked well, taste and texture-wise. Pad kee mao was good, flavors were all there. Overall, pretty solid Thai spot and we would definitely come back.

Hot, delicious food. Friendly service. Nice Interior and ambiance; appears to be maybe newly remodeled?

Sweet pumpkin curry puffs and corn taro cream cheese wanton
    Sydney J.

I ordered takeout here, but saw the restaurant had nice decor inside including a bunch of different lucky cat statues, and there is an outdoor parklet right outside the restaurant. The bathroom was clean. Sweet pumpkin curry puffs: Flakey, butter pastry. The middle is savory but I felt it would've been better if it were more flavorful. Corn taro cream cheese wanton: The cream cheese was really yummy. I found the sweet and sour sauce very tangy and acidic. Khao soi curry noodle soup (asked for it to not be spicy): It was salty but not too salty, and quite creamy. I still found it a little bit spicy as I could feel I was getting some acid reflux, I'm unfortunately someone who is very sensitive to spiciness in food. I like that there was a mixture of both hard and soft noodles. The noodles were packaged separately to avoid getting soggy.

As a pescatarian and vegetable appreciator, this Thai place specifically will be in my tops due to the good variety of vegetables they include in their dishes while other places have more limited vegetables included in the entrees (i.e. one or two mediocre basic vegetables) which in my personal opinion makes the dish less interesting and less complete feeling. In addition, I was super pleased and thankful for the combo menu which was the PERFECT choice for me and my friends since we all wanted something a little different but having the bonus of an individual sized appetizer and regular drink is something I am always appreciative at restaurants since many people love variety for a more complete feeling meal experience.
