Tostitos ceviche
Jennifer O.

I been looking for a store like this for a long time. They have them all over LA. I didn't get the candy fruit things, I purchased the ramen esquite & the Tostito ceviche. Both were good, the ramen esquite is pretty much cup of noodles with esquite on top. I like both so I figured it was a good combo. I like it, I would put more seasoning next time but it's good. The ceviche was really good & SPICYYYY!!! The service was good they were nice but it did take long. I would go back to try some other items.

I have been dying to try this place for a while now and finally got the opportunity on a weekday afternoon. When I arrived, there was only one customer ahead of me. They have a kiosk with the menu and pictures which makes it easier. We ordered a regular elote, la tusa and a mangoneada. The elote was good but I would try the elote loco which comes with hot Cheetos. The mangoneada was refreshing and hand chunks of mango inside. I love how it paired with the chamoy and tajin. La tusa was definitely the highlight of the whole experience. It was lime and Maracuya sorbet with a stuffed cucumber with chamoy, tajin stuffed with peanuts. It was a mixture of flavors which was sweet and tangy with a hint of spice. I will be returning to try their other delicious items on their menu.

The atmosphere in Maya's is very festive. The staff was very friendly. I was just in the mood for some ice cream and Maya's was five star in that department. I tried the mango sorbet and the tres leches ice cream. Both were delicious. They have a whole other menus of snack items so I'll have to return to try those! Maya's is steps from Junction Boulevard and a three minute walk from the 7 train.

Corn w Tostitos

I was very excited to go today, but the staff made my first visit very uncomfortable, no customer service at all. Their attitude towards other customer was the same I received. I order and my corn had more water than cheese and crema. Hot chocolate was good and I'm sure the other items too

I've been wanting to try Mayas ever since going to my local restaurant Casa Ortega that uses their paletas. The mango and chamoy paleta is always my favorite. Coming in person and getting to have the mangonada fresh was so delicious. We also purchased the peach rings, gushers, and gummy worms all tossed in chamoy and tajin and it was the perfect blend of spicy and sweet. The two workers at the counter prepared our order so quickly even though it was a busy Friday night. The overall seating and decor is so cute and a great place to meet up with friends for a late night snack! The bathroom is also clean here which is random but when you're in queens sometimes it can be hard to find one!

If you want Instagram worthy Mexican food, visit this place. They have cute decor and have a variety of Ice cream flavors (gansito ice cream, anyone?). I recently got the chicharon preparado, delicious. Plus they have a promo right now where you get a free agua fresca. I got the agua fresca de nuez, which comes with a dash of cinnamon. It tastes sweet and is my new favorite flavor. You can also sign up for their rewards program and get points. I love their desserts, they are so big, I can never finish it!

They definitely need more people working. It get very busy for only two employees the wait it's crazy . They get deliveries and can't handle both inside and outside and the service gets really bad !

Got the fix I needed. Been craving Dulce enchilados and chamoyada. Definitely was able to satisfy my cravings. Glad there's a queens spot and I won't have to travel into Brooklyn.

I had the Elotes Locos 7$ with hot Cheetos. It was corn on a cob with butter hot Cheetos and mayo drizzle. However they only put the mayo drizzle on one side. If you want more ask them to put it all around. I also had a small ice cream 3 leches and Cookie Monster flavor 5.50. I enjoyed both. However, I would encourage them to have more of a visual of the menu items because just reading the name and description of things on the menu didn't really give me an idea of the items and took me some time to decide so I just went for what I know corn and ice cream. My friend bought an icey with fruits tamarin. It looked nice but wasn't my thing. However my friend enjoyed it. Would return for the corn and ice cream.

This was my first time having mexican snack. I love the presentation and the serving size but I didn't really like the taste because i excepted to b spicy cause of the color but the spice people refer to is salty. Not too big on salt on my sweets. I know if you're used to eating Mexican snacks, you'll most likely love this spot

Found this little gem through Instagram , so decided to swing by and try it out since I am a big fan on Mexican candies and snacks. First off , parking is a bit of a issue. Other than that , the environment inside is very spacious and well lit , very clean and nicely decorated. Employees were wearing masks and gloves. Sanitizer was available. The bathroom is very well cleansed and stocked on hand soap and toilet paper as well as paper towels.. Very cute decor also. When I first walked in , I was a bit confused as to what was what , but an employee did not hesitate to help me out. After that, I wanted it all. I ended up walking out with a chamoyada which is a flavored sorbet of your choice topped with fresh mangos , candy , chamoy and tajin. I got a 12 oz and at first it looks tiny but boy was I full or what with that. Next I also got a Michelagua which is agua fresca with fresh cut up fruit., with the rim dipped in chamoy and tajin. And omg that was very refreshing. Definitely recommend those two. Lastly couldn't resist just a sliced up mango with lemon and tajin. So my overall review is this place is amazing and I wish them nothing but success.

The restaurant is beautiful and the food was good, but the prices are basically like Manhattan…read moreprices and the dress code is kinda crazy. Like what do you mean no flats and no coats?? (See photo). There's no happy hour menu, so we just ended up getting drinks and starters. Pulpo Al Fuego - (4/5) Octopus was delicious but the potatoes were just okay (wish they were roasted or fried). Tostones Fridas - (5/5) These were good and very filling! Virgin Piña Colada - (5/5) Sooo good. There were also free chips and salsa which tasted great as well. Our servers (mainly Fatima) were nice and our food came out quickly. One also chased after us when she realized an umbrella was left behind which was nice of her.

The Good: Our Server: Absolutely amazing! Attentive,…read moreprofessional, and easily the highlight of the entire evening. The Ambience: The physical space and decor were very nice and well-designed. The Bad: The Gatekeeping vs. The Reality: The restaurant tries hard to pose as a high-caliber, fine-dining establishment--even going so far as to request that guests remove their hats and sunglasses before entering. However, this "elite" illusion was immediately shattered when we were welcomed by a hostess aggressively chewing gum like a cow. If you're going to enforce a strict, upscale dress code, the front-of-house staff should match that level of professionalism. The Vibe Dissonance: While the decor was lovely, the music and the DJ completely clashed with the overall look and feel of the venue. It felt confused about what kind of establishment it wanted to be and loud. The Food & Drinks: Mediocre: The food was just okay, and the drinks were simply alright. Nothing stood out or justified the high-end posturing. The Verdict: It was an interesting experience to try once, but between the mixed signals and average menu, we wouldn't go back.
