I usually come here for Taco Tuesdays. It is such an amazing deal. I think the tacos went from $1 each to $2 each. I enjoy watching some soccer from all over the world here.

Food: A Taco Tuesday: I must have missed train on the $1 taco Tuesdays. These deals are hard to come by in today's economy. Two bucks still a fair deal though. Tacos: Ordered al pastor and carne asada, both were good, but they needed a lil more oomph to stand out from competition. Vibes: this definitely gets an extra star, lively atmosphere. I can see it now rainy evening at the bar chilling with some tacos and a beer listening to the rain...yeee Service: Friendly staff and service was quick. - John

Its been a minute but finally made it back to this awesome Mexican Seafood Restaurant. Everything we had was fresh and had great flavor. The Michelada with Prawns was great and the Sex on the Beach also tasty. Maza's Shrimp Wrapped with Bacon and the melted cheddar cheese was amazing, one of the best I've ever had cooked perfectly. Oyster Ajillo with special recipe of olive oil, spices and melted cheese was fresh and tasty. Parmesan Garlic Fries with the Cilantro Sauce was good and the fries were crispy. Tostadas Aguachiles Verde with Prawns with their serrano lime juice was so good and fresh, also one of the best we ever had!!! Chorriadas Mix with 1 each of Asada, Birria & Chorrizo with a little spicy sauce, sour cream and guac was great meat had great flavor and was tender!!! The service was great and attentive. The 1st round of chips and salsa was free, if you want more it will be $5.

This restaurant is so fun! I love the rustic feel like it's a backyard. It feels so homey and I love all the bright colors. Whenever I think of Mexican food, I want some Maza. Their food is delicious. My favorites are their ceviche, shrimp tacos, and oysters. Their flavors taste so authentic. I love me some seafood which Maza doesn't disappoint. I've been here many times and their service is always consistent. Waiters and waitresses are very attentive and knowledgeable about their menu. Can't wait to eat here again!

Great outdoor patio ambiance (super cute), REALLY good food (but pack your milk because many of their dishes are made with chiltepin, which can pack quite the punch one bite at a time, & their chips/salsa are super tasty! We also really enjoyed the agua de piña y mango. You'll get a pretty good sized portion to boot. The hardest part is trying to find somewhere to park on 13th St because there is *no* parking lot!!

One of the few if not last $1 taco tuesday restaurants in the bay (with purchase of any drink, $5 horchata is the minimum) Also comes with complimentary chips and salsa Parking may be hard cuz street parking only but not impossible! Good hawaiian tshirt vibe restaurants and cool waiters Got one of each taco: Chicken was okay (7/10) Pork was solid (8/10) Beef was pretty good (9/10) They have a variety of hot sauces which I also recommend to try theyre all pretty good Would come again!

Stopped in for a solo meal and was impressed by the ambiance, which provided a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. The tacos delivered solid flavor, and the margarita was thoughtfully crafted with good balance. However, the oysters were disappointing, showing signs of poor freshness and an off-putting aroma. Overall, the meal lands at a respectable 7.5/10.

My son and I were out and about and wanted to get something to eat, so Maza restaurant was what he chose because he wanted Mexican food. This was our first time going here. When we drove by, I initially thought it was the little place next door which didn't look like a restaurant at all. So we decided to just get out and discovered it was actually next door. (It was night so it was dark.) We go in and walk down a long hallway, which is also a sitting area, until you get to the hostess station and the seating area. They have a small bar with two TVs where you can watch soccer. They have a very cool octopus mural on the wall that had lights. They have a semi outdoors seating area which it seemed to me that you're not completely out in the open, but I could be wrong since it was somewhat dark. To look at the menu, you scan a QR code on the napkin holder. It just so happens to be $1 Taco Tuesdays all day. So I got myself three tacos, pollo, asada and carnitas. Very, very good. My son got the Super Quesadilla. It was so big he didn't even finish the other half, and he normally has a healthy appetite. They have Japanese style Mexican sushi but I wanted to take advantage of the $1 Taco Tuesdays. Next time I'm in the area I'll have to check out their "sushi."

I've never had a bad taco in my life until I ate the tacos here. The meat was hella dry and had no flavors. I honestly had better tacos at my white neighbors house. I also ordered the chicharron with guacamole. Our chicharron was rubbery and the guacamole was not good. Other than the unpleasant food the vibe here is good and seems like a fun place to eat. Service is so so.

agua chilie (I asked no too spicy pls and it still had a good kick) too good

came here to celebrate my sisters birthday and let me pick where to eat. I asked the "YELP community" and they sent me here. I am glad the food was so good. The reviews did mention that parking would be a bit tricky since it is all street parking. we found some pretty quick. There is also one bathroom so don't wait last min to use it since you might have to wait to use it. The way the restaurant is set up you feel like you are outside on vacation. I would have liked at least one paper menu since we have older people who couldn't see well with out glasses but we made it work. You look at the menu online and order from the waitress. she was so helpful in explaining what some options were and to let us know "how s spicy the food was going to be". food: we ordered chicharron with guacamole aguas chille copa de mariscos fish tacos carne asada plate carne asada tacos drinks: margaritas beer michelada pina colada agua fresca all was so amazing from food to vibe. They did a whole birthday thing for my sister with a shot and the waitress mentioned that on Tuesdays they have a really good all you can eat tacos for a really good price.

There's too many fresh Mariscos places within blocks of here (Mr Shrimp & Costa Alegre) in the same neighborhood to serve frozen seafood. The salsas are bland unless you ask for the habanero. I got a fried fish appetizer and the guac/salsa app as well. Fried fish appetizer was over cooked horribly and had zero seasoning. Yes ZERO! Customer service was mediocre at best. The waitress thought that flirting with the other employees was more important than seeing if the customer needed refills on drinks. Why two stars? Actually a cute place if You want to watch a game and have a few beers. I don't think the food is good but I've had worse. I've heard the sushi was good by other people but when they tell me the calamari is frozen, I don't trust the rest of the seafood isn't frozen. I might give them another try if there's no other option available

After today's visit, though... I finally understand why the second location closed. Ordered: Shackie's Sauce (Hot) Shrimp & Mussels Combo Snow Crab Clusters Garlic Noodles Garlic Fries The seafood boil was nowhere near the quality it used to be. The corn tasted old, the shrimp and snow crab didn't taste fresh, and the snow crab clusters had barely any meat. By the time I cracked everything open, it felt like there was more shell than seafood. The mussel shells even had barnacles on them, which I've never seen here before. It made the seafood feel like it hadn't been cleaned as well as it should have. The garlic fries were crispy, but that's it. It was weird--I could see the garlic and was literally eating it, yet there was no garlic flavor. The garlic noodles used to be one of my favorite items because they were bold and packed with garlic. Now they've definitely toned the flavor down, and they're just not the same anymore. It's honestly disappointing because this place used to be one of my favorite seafood spots. The food quality has clearly declined while the prices have continued to go up. I hope they can get back to what made this place so good, but based on today's experience, I can't recommend it anymore.

It is in the general area with Cere Tea and Koi Palace. We arrived around 6PM and were seated immediately. We came for the seafood don and both got the UME with an addition of the ochazuke set. For $26 + 4.5 for the set, I think it's really worth the price and you get a good amount of fresh fish. Each bite felt like I was transported to Japan and eating a Kaisendon. Although we had to wait for a bit for the dashi soup to arrive , it was a delicious end to our meal. So comforting and hearty.

Same quality but Bigger portions and better dashi, for about the same price? Sign me up. My girlfriend and I skated the potato salad appetizer - a delicious DIY experience that let you control the texture of your potato salad (though I feel I overmixed), and two take bowls which were MASSIVE - easily could have shared. The seafood was fresh, the portions generous, and maybe it's because I have a more Americanized palate, but the mixed seafood dashi was richer and paired much better than a mild seafood chazuke. Plus it came with shiso leaves and tempura crunchies so it was really no comparison. Overall this was a delicious meal that left me extremely full, unlike other seafood bowls that leave you just a little too hungry. Given the tastiness of their dashi, I'll def be back to try their udon. Also, as an added bonus, my dogs love the little dashi fish topper on their food they sell separately at the front. Love! --- Sweet: amazing dashi broth, delicious seafood bowls. Rare instance of a dinner living up to the hype Bitter: wish they had mini versions of their more deluxe bowls!!

I was worried they would be close by the time I get there since they close at 5pm and it was 4:45pm when we got there. There is parking in the back that you can drive in and park. I told them I wanted 120 Pacific oysters and the worker brought it out right away. They were $120 but since I used my card to pay, they tacked on $5 to the price. I think you have to spend a certain amount to avoid the $5 credit card charge. They asked if I was ok with it and I told them it was fine and proceeded to pay. They have newspapers on the side that you can use to put in ur car so the water from the oysters doesn't get on the car carpet. The oysters were really good and tasted fresh. The seafood was well-seasoned with a nice spicy kick, and our noodles were very garlicky (in a good way). The chicken tenders were also flavorful, but a bit dry (I still like it btw). The shrimp, on the other hand, were delicious and cooked perfectly. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating, great for groups. The garlic fries were cooked to the perfect level of crispiness, while the lobster garlic noodles were flavorful, savory, and packed with garlic goodness. The seafood itself was fresh and good quality, but I found the House Special Mild sauce a little underwhelming. I was hoping for more depth and flavor, but most of what I tasted was a mild kick of heat. While it wasn't bad, it didn't have the rich, buttery, and well-seasoned flavor profile that I typically look for in a seafood boil sauce. Service was great throughout our visit. We were seated promptly, our food arrived quickly, and any requests we had were fulfilled without issue. The staff was attentive and made the dining experience smooth and enjoyable. I also appreciated the restaurant's nautical theme. The decor featured fishing nets, ship-inspired accents, and other sea-themed elements that helped create a fun and immersive atmosphere. Overall, I'm glad we gave this place a try. The garlic noodles and fries were delicious, and the service was excellent. While I would probably choose other seafood boil spots in the future, this was still a solid experience and worth trying at least once.
