Did someone poop in the guac
    Busamaniac34 ..

What has happened to this place? Didn't give us the correct order the guacamole is old and the food is not what it used to be. Save your money and go to taco bell way better food. The staff was great but does not make up for quality of food. So sad to see this place go down hill after being the go to for so long.

We always enjoy coming to Mazatlans. Poncho is the best. He is very entertaining and always remembers us!!! Thank you so much for having us.

The receipt I signed said $59.99

Our food took forever to make it to us due to cook change apparently, but the topper on the whole day was our bill was $59.99 my card was charged $71.99. and I left him a $10 cash tip.....wtf is wrong here? I'm very upset they think they can just. Slip an extra 20 in on their tip wtf who raised you.??

    Tortilla soup.

We were in the area visiting a friend and I was in the mood for some chicken tortilla soup. We saw this restaurant and decided to stop in. What can I say? It was a disappointing lunch. The complimentary chips were fresh and good, the salsa had the appearance and consistency of tomato soup with a little chunks of tomatoes in it. Never had salsa that bad before. Ordered the chicken tortilla soup and was excited for it since I was looking forward to it. OMG. It was horrible!! It was very diluted with bits of grilled chicken in it and lack any flavor. I wouldn't mind paying $14.99 for a bowl of soup, but at least it should be enjoyable. (Costco has better tortilla soup then this place). My husband ordered the deluxe tostada salad. It didn't look appetizing therefore I didn't try it. He said it was difficult to enjoy because it was very liquidly. Guess when they put the Chile Colorado in the salad it was way too much sauce therefore making it very soupy and overly wet. He mixed it before I could get a picture of it.

Two enchiladas- one chicken, one cheese, with rice and beans

We've been dining at Mazatlan for years. We just moved from Everett and used to patronize that location. It's a family-run chain of restaurants in this area. The food is just okay. Apparently they use the same recipes and ingredients across locations, but it doesn't taste quite the same down here. My go-to is the kids meal enchilada with pinto beans inside of the enchilada (meat isn't my thang), add avocado, and a side of corn tortillas. The enchiladas are just average. The avocado adds a nice creamy topping- especially with a touch of sea salt. You can't order a kid's meal online using their order system- it's not listed. You need to call to order that. The enchiladas are gluten-free. I've never had a reaction but I don't have celiac- I'm just NCGS/non-celiac gluten-sensitive. The chips and salsa are good. The salsa tastes like it does at the other Mazatlan locations- spicy and chunky. Sometimes they give you a confusing amount of chips- like half of a very small bag with four entrees. Like. Whut? My husband gets three chicken enchiladas with rice and beans and he says it's solid. Pros: Online ordering Fast service Solid food Vegetarian option for enchiladas that isn't cheese Pretty restaurant (although we've only done takeout because of COVID) Friendly and efficient service Supporting a local family They're really friendly on Instagram (this matters to me mmkay?) Easy parking Cons: Can't order a kid's meal online Price adds up quickly- even with three kid's meals and one adult entree Confusing chip portions Not all staff are educated about allergens

Heaven, thats what we call this

My hubby and I wanted to try a new place for Valentine's day. We were so happy that we stopped here. Their drinks are so tasty and the chips perfect. My husband had the fish tacos and i of course stole a bite and now they are all i want. My chile relleno was soooo good. We will be back many times!!!!

EXTREMELY watered down red sauce and way too much cheese. Probably to add more volume to my small enchilladas.

They have a decent sized menu but not too overwhelming and if you don't like the options offered then you can do a create your own which is sweet! My boyfriend got their garden wrap with a garlic and herb tortilla while I got their Washington Apple wrap with a garlic and herb tortilla. There was an order ahead of us but the employees got the orders made in a good amount of time and presentation was a nice touch too. The wraps had a great ratio of all the listed ingredients and you can yaste everything in each bite. The ingredients tasted and looked fresh! The interior is very cozy with plenty of seating that accommodates solo, couples or small groups. They have great lighting in there, both natural and inside. They had some old school RnB playing which was nostalgic for me as I heard a lot of these as a pre-teen. Definitely a fantastic spot, especially if you are trying to eat or be more healthy conscious but still have a flavorful meal!

I like some of the pastries as well, but based on the size, not sure if it's worth the calories. And it does seem like the sandwiches have gotten smaller. I used to stop by for breakfast, but it would just end up taking a while, and I'm not sure if it was worth the price. If you use the drive-through, be prepared to wait. There are times in the past I have waited at least 20 minutes. The last time I was in the drive-through, there was a huge splatter against the drive-through window. I asked what happened, and they said that soup was spilled when transferring it to a customer. It kind of looked like someone had drove over it and it exploded everywhere. It did not look very appetizing and had not been cleaned up. It's a good location, though, being right across from the mall.

Really lots of empty tables but a staff that seemed to not care or we finally had mastered the power of invisibility. Finally someone motioned just a minute. Like 5 minutes wasn't enough. So we got a table and reviewed the menu. We decided on a simple breakfast. Eggs, bacon, coffee, toast etc.... Simple right? It took 5 minutes to get two cups of coffee. Then we waited. Remember it was not very busy. Server was nice but nothing about sorry your wait was so long. Nothing! Well the two breakfast dishes (scrambled eggs and sunny side up eggs) still were a no show. And we like crisp bacon but not overly cooked bacon. Not a difficult order. I have whipped this out in my kitchen in less than 10 minutes for 3 people. So why did it take almost 15 minutes to get ours. And why no coffee refills? And crispy bacon is not drop already cooked bacon into a deep fryer and forget it and then serve it and it actually is sooo overcooked that just looking at it makes it break and charcoal would have tasted better. The eggs were under cooked scrambled as my wife likes done eggs and my sunny side up were two rubber disks and overcooked with no sign of the runny eggs I like. The rest of the food was meh. So lesson learned, don't think Tim's will be an option for any meals in the future. P.S.: even when we pointed out the issues the server didn't blink when she said "You asked for crispy bacon, and the kitchen was overwhelmed" Really!!!

It sounds like they shift out their cocktail menu from time to time so it definitely changes. The food menu is great! It's rare where they have a nachos section on the menu. Section? We split and shared the Fiesta Verde nachos which has corn, Oaxaca Cheddar sauce, cotija, green onions, sour cream, Queso Fresco and green sauce. They also are known for different kinds of corn dishes and baked potatoes. We continued to share with something off of their baked potato section and got the Dude which had a diced roasted chicken breast in a Chipotle-Lime-Honey Beef Consommé, cheese curds, cotija, shaved radish and green onions. Just like last time, the food was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly. The chicken sandwiches here are consistently good, and the fries were great as well. We mainly stopped in this time because my husband was craving custard, and it definitely delivered. I ordered one of their loaded custard creations with multiple mix-ins (I can't remember the exact name), and it was delicious. The only thing I'd note is that it's very rich and sweet, and the portion is pretty big. I couldn't finish mine, so it's probably something that would be perfect for sharing. The restaurant itself still has the same casual, upbeat atmosphere as my previous visit, and the food quality seems very consistent. My only lingering note from my first review still applies a bit -- it can get pricey for what you get -- but the food and custard are definitely good if you're in the mood for it. Overall, still a great spot for chicken sandwiches and custard, and we'd happily come back again.
