The chef and cashiers from Riverbank express restaurant, in tacoma eqc top quality and effort. I have eaten at both tacoma and fife eqc restaurants but in my opinion tacoma is much better. Salmon got delicious flavors and I can appreciate their extra efforts giving me awesome dinner. Thanks so much

Our go to when at emerald queen. So many great choices but the Asian and Vietnamese seem to be our choice every time. This visit, had the pho and it was great. The fried rolls and fresh spring rolls can't be topped. We were told this was peanut sauce,I don't know how they do it ,but it was smoky perfection, no peanut taste at all. I could have eaten it with a spoon. Wonderfull and very attentive service. 100% satisfied.

Riverbank Express is a good casino restaurant. They have a large menu consisting of American and Asian foods. The food is very affordable and flavorful. I highly recommend ordering the fried spring roll, it was delicious. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. I had an issue with my bill, I forgot to provide my players club to get a discount. They refunded my bill and took the time to rectify the situation. I was really appreciative of the staff taking care of me.

It's not the best pho, but it's not the worst pho I've had. Came here with friends to check out the newly remodeled EQC and we decided to eat here. This place is massive and the menu is almost as large. You can order all kinds of cuisines including burgers, sandwiches, pho, rice bowls, Thai food, pastas, fish and chips, quesadillas, and so much more. With such a large menu, this is like the casino's version of Cheesecake Factory. It's great that they can make so many things, but they don't make anything exceptionally well. For my pho, the broth was a little light for my tasting and the cuts of meat didn't look the freshest. Nonetheless, I did finish the pho, so it wasn't inedible. Again, it wasn't exceptional, but you know what also wasn't exceptional? The service. It wasn't because our server didn't do her job, but she was in charge of serving so many tables. They have to hire more people to help out. In addition to our dishes, we also ordered sodas and ice tea and it felt like eons between refills. If EQC is reading this, please don't have your poor servers take care of 12-15+ tables at a time. If you have a group that can't decide on what to eat at the casino, go here. The food is above average, but just don't expect high quality cuisine. However, as we were walking out, I did see someone at another table order the spaghetti and meatballs and that didn't look too bad. I'll probably order that if we ever go back.

This was probably the best I've ever had, im not a pro with chopsticks but I tried lol The broth was very smooth and the brisket was well done and rice noodles was cooked to perfection and this place is located at the new Emerald Queen Casino I.ln Tacoma. I'm telling you if you ever come this way try this place out you will not regret it at all.

Char-grilled chicken on Vietnamese cold rice noodle salad, very tasty. Added sesame ginger dressing, $18

Finally was able to order off the American/Vietnamese menu since staying later at casino. We've wanted to try this before but they don't switch over from full Vietnamese menu to other until 2:00 pm which is different from what EQ website has as 11:00, doesn't make sense honestly to be so limited until after peek lunch time. Anyway hubby got the fried oysters/fries and I got the char-grilled chicken Vietnamese cold noodle salad. Our service was excellent! Our food took a bit but came out looking good. Only issue we have is serving fried entree on top of the fries in the cone cylinder. This is second entree we've had and what happens is the batter fried whatever it is ( our case fish and oysters) end up causing the fries to steam underneath losing all the crispiness! Most people want crispy fish and the especially fries. Please put entree on plate separately!!!! Fries can maybe be ok in cone but alone. He really enjoyed the oysters. I thought it looked like smaller portion for the $18 price. Should come with slaw or more oysters/fries. My chicken rice noodle salad was really tasty. This version wasn't served with mixed salad greens like I was used too but did have few diced veggies. I asked for some Asian dressing too because it's really bland with just fish sauce. Mine too was $18 but took me 3x's longer to eat that hubby's dish. I'd order again and he said he would too. Wish the lighting was a bit dimmer, seemed a bit cafeteria like compared to the nice restaurant next to it that's less expensive on certain similar items. Not sure why these casino eateries charge for soda/coffee when free on casino floor. But overall nice late lunch.

    Pork Chop with Rice

Yummy-yum-yum! That is the words I would use to describe the pork chop, shrimp. and rice entree I enjoyed!!! After a fun evening at Emerald Queens, Tacoma, I decided to get a take out and decided on Riverbank Express. It took about 30 minutes to get my food, but it was worth the wait!! When I got it home, it was still warm and to my delight, It is one of the BEST meals I had the pleasure of gobbling down! The pork chop was tender and scrumptious, the shrimp was crispy and favorable. Oh, and the rice with the carrots, Tomatoes, and cucumbers was so delicious with the sauce that came with the meal!! Riverbank Express, thank you for this awesome meal, and to your staff for making this a wonderful customer experience for me today! It was one of my best highlights of the day!! You nailed it--slam dunk!!

    A couple of bites in.

Don't order medium anything here when it comes to burgers. You will be served a raw one. Thank you to the person that didn't have the decency to cook my burger...and of course, since he/she didn't even bother to do it right the first time, I could only imagine what they would have done if I sent it back. So when I realized, I was so pissed I bit it until the inside was exposed enough so I could photograph the inside and make sure I wasn't mistaken. I wasn't. Wish I could get my money back.

We arrived around 4:30-40ish on a Sunday and we were seated quickly at the patio. They had plenty of seating in the patio and even had umbrellas in case the sun was too much. Luckily it was the perfect weather with a nice little breeze. The hostess offered us waters for our dogs and even asked if they needed one or two bowls. We opted for two bowls just in case as our male dog drinks a lot. We love that the menu was concise and that they had their specials on a little display on the table. I decided that I wanted to try out more of the menu and orders a strawberry lemonade, steamed clams, Bang Bang shrimp, bowl of clam chowder and a S'mores cheesecake to share with everyone. For the entrees, we ordered two of the smoked seafood fettuccine, kickin' chicken burger, and the Connecticut lobster roll. It did take some time for our entrees to arrive so I'm glad I bought the appetizers as we were hungry. However, the drinks were all refreshing and the food was perfectly seasoned and cooked. My only gripe is that the coleslaw was a bit off for me but at least I know to get fries or another substitute. The cheesecake was also a good size and I love that they toasted the marshmallows. Everyone, including the birthday boy left full and satisfied. I also was able to use their new Toast reward system with no issues. Our server Dallas was very professional and friendly with us. She would check in at appropriate times despite how busy the patio was getting. She even handled an extremely rude and entitled guest with precise professionalism.

The restaurant is clean and tidy with an organized and cozy atmosphere. The tables aren't crammed together and it's not crazy loud at this time of day. However, I think it would be loud on a packed Friday night and getting a wheelchair or a person with mobility problems into a table that's not on the outside of the aisle would be difficult. City views are great. Probably very pretty at night. Waterfront views are decent, boasting the bridge and beautiful city that lies beyond it. Service is cordial, but not overly friendly. We were greeted immediately upon arrival inside and promptly after we were seated. Seating took about 7 minutes from arrival time and water was brought less than 5 minutes from being seated. We were served by Lavetta and she was absolutely amazing. We ordered the Maine lobster roll and subbed clam chowder as a side for $5 extra. At $37 a plate I had high hopes. We also ordered the seafood dip and two pops. The lobster was stuffed to the gills! It looked very mediocre until I bit into it and realized how much meat was in that little roll. The bread was warm and the lobster perfectly dressed. It wasn't drowning in mayo or soggy with filler. The seafood dip was creamy, flavorful and cheesy. It comes topped with chives, a cute halved cherry tomato and a fresh, warm, crusty baguette. The clam chowder is rich creamy and THICK, but came lukewarm. No clue what their hot holding temperatures are, but this was not giving "fresh from the pot" vibes. With the tip, we got out for about 85$. Pretty pricey but the portion of lobster was worth the price.

We were the only people in the dining room for lunch the entire time until our last 10 mins. This restaurant is inside a casino in Fife. Parking is interesting, and the casino itself is in the middle of a reno so it looks a bit messy but otherwise it is fine. Kudos to them for trying to make the outside section nice because the view kind of kills it. Pros - it's a very nicely designed space. The hostess and our waitress were so nice and welcoming, even giving me a stool for my bag (and it wasn't even my fanciest bag lol!) Overall, the restaurant is nice, the food seems to be mostly fresh and good quality and service was nice. I actually quite enjoyed my ribeye, despite our broccolinni having no almonds, as stated on the menu. My affogato was good, and the cake frosting and flavors were good. Cons - I say these with love...but we both feel the kitchen was not up to par, or the main chef was off, or something happened because there were quite a few mishaps during our visit. The appetizers were good, but the scallops needed salt and I would not pair them with pineapple, personally. The calamari weren't the most tender, and the breading was interesting - it's definitely not your typical breading, it suited a fish and chips dish better. The sweet and spicy sauce served with it is from trader Joe's...I know because I've bought it before, so I don't believe it's house made. Like I previously stated, the broccolinni was missing the almonds, and the carrots on the side that I ordered for $13 were so embarrassing that the waitress came back after serving us and told us that she spoke to the manager and got those off our bill. That's how ridiculous they were, so thank you to her for having good values at work. While I liked my steak, it was very, very fatty, and my husband asked for medium rare and definitely got medium well. Lastly, the pink champagne cake was disappointing, not because it was yucky, but because the cake itself was clearly days old, and had been freshly frosted. It was tough, dry and stale, while the frosting was fresh and light. Overall, I can see coming back but I'm in no rush due to the price/location/overall food.

Our server cautioned us about how spicy the Very Hot level is, but we assured her we could handle it. It is VERY HOT - but super flavorful. The pepper was fruity, a bit citrusy but not mouth numbing at all. Our noses ran, tears were shed - but nothing kept us away from digging in. The crawfish were naturally sweet. The sea snails (new to all of us) were delectable, briny with nice flavor from the sauce. They're quite chewy, but overall a win for us. The shrimp really took on the flavor of the sauce and were little bombs of spice. The restaurant decor is utilitarian, but that's fine. We care more about the food, which was worth every cent. This was not our first visit to Dragon's Crawfish and it won't be our last.

I guess for $3.99 what should you expect. The crab boil was ok. Some parts were still cold. We asked for headless shrimp so I assumed that the shrimp would be deveined too. The garlic butter sauce didn't taste buttery and I think the garlic is jarred garlic. Don't get me wrong. I've used jarred garlic but you shouldn't be able to tell by taste. The sauce seems to have been thrown in after the seafood was warmed/steamed. I felt like all the flavors wasn't infused in anything in the pot (corn, potato, shrimp, clam etc.) I feel bad becauseThe service was great. High expectations after watching a IG video from ErikaTaste. My favorite part was the bread. It's basically the Vietnamese roll, so soft crunchy and fresh. And you have to pay during certain hours, so look at the signs to enure you don't get a ticket because the police are pretty well known to not give any grace. Made a reservation online to celebrate a birthday. (And just FYI with the small print, if you cancel less than a day before or a no show, you are subject to a $20 fee PER person). Alright, so this spot has no air conditioning even though its pretty small in there, so I'd recommend sitting outside. Or else, the inside can become a sauna especially in the summer. Had initially requested to sit inside, totally forgetting about the no A/C and my friend who has never been here requested to sit outside. But the server became short with us and was less than pleasant but had intially agreed to take us outside. So it was a confusing situation. And I was embarrassed to bring my friend here because they were talked at and not to and was suggested to sit at a dirty table at that. Food was mid and wasn't as good as it used to be.
