We went there on Friday with our family of 7 to play a round of mini golf. Havent been there in a bit but its really going down hill. The course isnt kept up. So many areas where brick borders are in disrepair. Broken out of place trip hazards because they arent cemented in. No fountains working. There were shimmers in the water ways cleaning them. Leaves and trash around no number boat fountain everything just looks worn down. The speaker system sounds terrible. How can you expect to have people go there with things so poorly taken care of. I just remember other places that are way more appealing. I wish there was a better spot for families where someone actually cared. read more

Always a good time at MB2. We came out this weekend to destress after an eventful week and it was such a lovely time. We rode the go karts, ate some yummy food, had some drinks and connected with our son over mini golf and skee-ball. We also spent some time playing the lawn games out back. I've never officially played corn hole, but we had a fun time trying to make the bean bags in the hole. I am giving this review as a customer that likes fun, and also for the kids. This place is awesome, fun, and has a variety of food. They have a great bargain of all you can eat in a two hour time limit. The prices are different depending on the day of the week. I got to experience the Go-Karts, Mini Golf, the Batting Cage, Arcades, and other free games. They have a two party rooms, an outside venue for music, and plenty of outdoor seating. MB2 is a fun place to play arcade games, drive go-karts, play mini golf, or practice swinging at the batting cages! The prices are reasonable and sometimes there are deals on Groupon! This was my first time coming here since Camelot Park was closed. The service was friendly and promotes safety by ensuring that waivers are completed for outdoor activities. My boyfriend and I visited the batting cages first. A couple machines were out of order, but many were available since it wasn't so busy today. We also putted on the mini golf course. The ambiance was a little disappointing. The mini golf course didn't feel exciting to look at since the water wasn't running and the next best feature is a small grey and red castle. Also, Hole 18 was confusing... It just ate our ball instead of coming out of the chute, so we weren't able to actually play it and get it in the hole. Finally, the arcade had some cool games. For my tweens 12th birthday she wanted to come here. She loves the go carts. We saw on Groupon the deals they were having and it was amazing. We got three 2 hour unlimited play and that incudes the batting cages, go carts and the arcade and more for $99. I bought it on Groupon, we went, they gave us 3 separate cards and once we swiped them then the 2 hours started. We all got to share the cards as well. My husband and I played the arcade games and the batting cages with the girls cards. My only complaint was the heat but of course, its the middle of July, I expected that. Staff was awesome, even more awesome than last time. The staff at the front register were great especially this one guy who helped us sign our waivers. Him and another girl at the bar/restaurant section were more than kind. They made our day there perfect. The girl gave us free water in a pitcher and kept it coming. The waitress Janette was amazing! The second I walked in, I I saw the positivity coming off that girl like a ray of sunshine on a gloomy, cloudy, rainy day. She continuously checked up on my family and I and our drinks were always full. To be honest I got that mitt I used to go to Camelot back in the day in the eighties and the '90s before shut down I thought it was going to be like Camelot or old and ran down and jacked up I was surprised this place is out of this world it's really nice Got a little bar in there foods on point That $9.99 all you can eat menu they got is pretty good they give you small portions and all but it's worth it The only drawback is the only reason why I didn't give it a five it's that you have to order it then it comes to your table and you have to order your next order which I think is kind of weird but oh well but the food was on point Pizza was definitely hot you burn your mouth on it games are on point but I'm not sure of for kids though I saw more adults than I saw kids so that was kind of different I mean of course she got the miniature golf If you got the go-karts and you have the floaty boats out there also they did a good job on putting a spot together cuz it was kind of crappy when it was Camelot. We came for a little fun for our Anniversary. We remember this place from when we were teenagers, but with the rebranding this place now has a little more adult edge to it, that I really like. I was so impressed with the upgrades to this place! Went here on a double date and was so glad our friends picked it. The new decor is so modern and current now and the food is way better. We got the cheeseburger sliders, the buffalo wings, tater tots, French fries and the pizza wheels. All of it tasted great and the prices were excellent. Service was good too. After dinner, we played mini golf. It was an easy process getting a ball from the vending machine but the blue one was broken causing my husband to double swipe thinking it didn't take it. Luckily we used the third swipe for our friends but they really need to put out of order signs if something is broken. We did the castle route and everything was well-kept. The ambiance was relaxing with the sound of running water and all the greenery. It looks more modern and not tacky as it did before the rebranding. Started with Micheladas that was nicely presented & taste was good for someone who doesn't really like micheladas (part of me wants a charred jalapeño slice lol) 8.2/10 Pizza surprised me for what I was expecting (Little Caesars/Chuck E Cheese) . Sauce didn't have overpowering tomato flavor but nonetheless the flavor wasnt absent. Destroyed half a large pepperoni & didn't feel too heavy afterwards. No disrespect to anyone who enjoys the other arcade games they present (Hoop Connect4, Fast & Furious, Motorbikes, etc.) but how is there not an air hockey table? 7.8/10 I was banking on the overall experience to be carried by the go karts & mini golf but was pleasantly amazed by how well balanced everything was. No real obstacles, nothing challenging, just a flop. And like I mentioned, it was hot, wish there would have been more shaded spots along the golf course route! Standing in the sun like that makes you miserable, I mean this is Bakersfield! Why not put up some big umbrellas along the course, maybe even some mist machines! Lol and build some more buildings! It's so bare out there! We were going to ride the go karts too, but noticed they make you wear a big hot helmet now, no thank you. I see they use Lysol spray to spray each helmet down for the next person, but still, that's just not something Im comfortable with. So we went inside and used the rest of our points on the arcade, specifically, the Mario kart racing, which ended up being the highlight of the day. NEVER book a party here! All my daughter wanted for her 9th birthday was to ride the go karts. After 2 failed attempts on the phone I went to book in person and surprise surprise the 2 different people who took my information over the phone didn't enter it into the computer! I was helped in person and gave a$300 deposit. The packages I had been given a week prior were already changed to more expensive packages. We arrived on her party date 20 minutes early to set up, which we were told was fine. To my surprise there was NO scheduled party! I find my information and they put us in a freezing room. One of my guests arrived on time and the girl working the front desk with huge feather eyelashes was extremely rude and wouldn't even tell guests what room we were in. She was rude the ENTIRE time stating I was a management problem and she couldn't help me. Another planner came and never apologized stating the problem when she text me was I said "leave me alone". Ummm what! Checking the number she had text, it was WRONG! The host was slow in bringing the few things I needed and while we were placed late into the room we were rudely told to leave because the next party had arrived, they hadn't. After being rudely rushed out for NO reason my husband called to say they wanted to close the tab, my daughter was on the boats with friends and I said I'd come in to look it over in a minute, as I was walking back to the door the host and planner were following me with a radio saying are your ready now, as if I was going to run out on my daughters day! After almost $400 additional dollars later I was done with them. The WORST part was the treatment and service, not to mention the automatic $90 gratuity added on which was not deserved at all! Alright, there's a lot wrong with this place so I'll make it short. 1. the roaches are OUT OF CONTROL. absolutely disgusting. 2. the staff is incredibly inattentive, I watched people sneak in through an unlocked gate with my own eyes. 3. the mini-golf course is so boring, all of the whimsy from the old Camelot has been gutted for boring gray monotony. My wife and I are mini-golf lovers so having a mini-golf course back in town is a big plus. We waited a while after their opening to let the newness wear off a bit before we headed down for the first time. The front desk as you enter is slow. There was only one person working it and between welcoming new guests and getting them setup with a card and answering questions from people just walking up the guy seemed a bit overwhelmed and it lead to a longer wait for us to get in. Pretty much everything is automated using the card, even for mini golf you just use your card at a machine and then select your ball. Clubs are sitting out for you to grab and away you go. One small nuance right away was that the signs on the course are incorrect. we picked the River Course and after hole 8 we walked up the path where the 2 courses split. It said River hole 7 was to the right and Castle hole 9 was to the left. However, we were on hole 9 and the direction that said River course pointed towards the castle. So the sign is mislabeled and created some confusion, seems like this was an oversight by the staff and should be an easy fix by just reprinting the sign and replacing it. The mini-golf course itself is fine. There's not a lot of diversity in the holes, we were hoping they might have updated it a bit and added some obstacles or other things to make some of the holes feel more unique but it seems like they just returfed the course and added a couple tiny things here and there, it felt very much like Camelot just with new turf. The arcade is small compared to Blvd or Dave and Busters but they have some fun games, we did a couple. They don't have a traditional prize counter, they have a couple machines with prizes you scan your card and select the prize you want. You won't rake in tickets here like you will at other arcades and again it seems like they really want to push the automation to reduce staff needs. Overall, it's fine. We'll visit again just to get a mini-golf fix from time to time but it's lacking. The town really needs a great mini-golf course but I don't know if it's something we'll see. If you're just looking to do an arcade and get some prizes I'd go elsewhere but if you want a full experience with other options than MB2 has some good things to offer. read more

Wow! Nicely renovated and awesome to have this fun center in town again! The facilities were clean and nicely renovated. The prices were very affordable. Lots of fun for the whole family. On this trip the family only visited the mini golf and the grill, the mini golf was fun and nice turf and equipment. And the grill was a bit confusing at first (self seating and waiter will come to you with menus, a sign explaining could have been helpful) but the the works pizza was delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced! Today was their opening day & I just want to emphasize how cool this place is! There's an arcade, 2 bars, go cart racing, batting ranges, mini golf, dining, axe throwing and all kinds of stuff! Very awesome fun addition to Bakersfield! It's right where the old Camelot park was and must I say, way way better! We started by dining on the patio and our server was Yvette. She was super attentive and answered all our questions about the menu and the venue. She suggested a few of her favorite things so we go the pizza wheels and the turkey club with sweet potato fries. Everything came out fresh and fast considering it was opening night. Our server was super sweet and made our experience a great one. Great first impression all around.
