They were…read moreclosed today but still took the time to contact me and make things right. 5/30 - I initially had several positive experiences at this salon. I had been seeing the same tech for a few months, and my first few sets turned out beautifully with no issues. Unfortunately, after a previous appointment, I developed significant swelling, itching, and irritation in one eye within hours of leaving the salon. I contacted the salon and was told it could be an allergic reaction to the adhesive. The symptoms eventually resolved after a few days. Because the issue had cleared up, I decided to give lash extensions another try and returned three weeks later. Unfortunately, I experienced another reaction, and this one was much worse. The same eye became extremely swollen, painful, and irritated shortly after the appointment. I developed discharge and crusting around the extensions, and many of the extensions fell out almost immediately. I want to note that both reactions occurred very shortly after my appointments, before I had washed, wet, or otherwise handled the extensions. Since clients are instructed not to get their lashes wet for 24 hours after application, I do not believe this was related to aftercare or hygiene issues at home. What has been most upsetting is the damage to my natural lashes. As I write this review, I have virtually no natural eyelashes remaining on my right eye. Not only did I lose the extensions I paid for, but I also lost nearly all of my own lashes on that side and am now left looking noticeably uneven while I wait for them to grow back. I understand that allergic reactions can happen and may be outside of the salon's control. However, after spending $130 on my most recent fill appointment and ending up with a swollen eye, severe irritation, and almost no natural lashes remaining on my right eye, I felt it was important to share my experience.

Before leaving, I asked about the salon's policies due to their mixed reviews. When I filled out the paperwork, I saw that if the lashes start to fall within three days, I can call for a fix. The front desk staff looked at the paperwork and hesitantly confirmed that I was eligible, which made me a bit uneasy. So I asked her how she got her lashes to look that beautiful and then she told me she had them done with Yanna! So I decided to book Yanna for my wedding day lashes and I was SO amazed! I absolutely LOVED how they look. They look so natural but also so beautiful and thick. Her studio is also so nice to be in - it's warm and inviting, very clean, smells really good, decorated so nicely, and she has great music playing in the background and you get to lay on a super cozy bed right by the window while she does your lashes. I had never had my lashes done before so I was pretty nervous, but she is super friendly and calming. Honestly, the first time I met her, it somehow felt like we had known each other for years. She was so fun and easy to chat with. She helped my nerves go away, and I didn't feel anything while she was putting the lashes on! It was so relaxing and peaceful. So the process is amazing and the final result is amazing. I got soooo many compliments on my lashes - even a professional makeup artist who also does lashes told me that she was very impressed with mine and she could tell that they were very well done. The lashes also last a while - about a month or maybe even more. I used to wear mascara everyday, but mascara is hard to wash off, gets in my eyes and irritates my eyes, gets clumpy and flaky, and I think was also giving me pimples - my skin seems to have cleared up ever since not using mascara anymore. Because of how beautiful and effortless Yanna's lashes are, I am thinking to start going regularly to get them done instead of wearing mascara. I initially just got them for my wedding, but I love them so much I may just stick with them :) One other thing I loved - she does a few test lashes during your consultation visit to make sure there's no allergic reaction. My skin is pretty sensitive so I was a little bit worried about having a reaction, but there were no issues at all!
