That stereo shop in Simi Valley ( Discount Stereo ) totally screwed up my car with an install as well as causing a couple grand in body work damage as a result of negligence and refused to repair their work or remove all the equipment and refund the money. The Phantom team had to go through the entire install + replace some defective hardware, correct all the wiring, remove the ( literally ) fried wires in the engine compartment, etc.... I sat there waiting for him to go and pull the material. In my head, I was thinking the total cost should be close to $200.00. The biggest item I had on the list was 100' of 3/4" flex and the breaker. He walked back to ask me again about an item on the list. I asked him if he could show me the invoice for the material so I could see what he was charging me. He wouldn't give me the invoice, he asked me what I wanted to know the cost of. I asked him what he was charging me for the breaker and the flex. He told me $156.00 for the 2-pole breaker and $146.00 for the flex. I called your other store, and they told me the cost was $46.00. I have to charge you what it says on the screen. He didn't even ask if the price was right; he said the other stores can charge less, but he needs to charge me what it says on the screen. I know he was high on the flex too. Let me pull the rest of the material, and he walked away to pull the material, and I just walked out of the store. I called Codale and asked them if they had the 2-pole bolt-on breaker, and they did, and the cost was $51.00. WTF is wrong with CES on Russell? I get to Codale, and some of the counter guys recognized me bc I've been in the trade for over 30 yrs in Vegas. I gave them the same list, and they dropped the price to $45.00 for the breaker and $105.00 for the flex. Total cost came out to $211.00.. CES WANTED $368.00 No thanks, CES. All that I wanted to do was revive the machine. The repair technician Valerie confirmed my analysis. As the machine had two RAM chips, one 8 GB, the other 4 GB, she suggested that it might be possible to revive the machine if the 4 GB chip was defective. Simply taking it out would leave an 7 GB RAM chip which was sufficient for the machine to run. So she took it out, we rebooted the machine, and to my pleasant surprise it worked. As I plan to buy a new PC immediately, the 8 GB RAM chip will suffice for my needs. Valarie saved me the ~$125 cost of a new 16 GB RAM chip. She refused to accept any payment for her work.

I asked if they had any less expensive numbers cause I needed two numbers which would've been $35 they said no and then I see on the rack there are blowup numbers that are not helium for $1.99 each number instead of $17. so I bought the dollar 1.99 numbers took them home and there's no way to blow them up. It was fun, fast and easy; the young man behind the counter got me handled in no time and knew all of the required specifics for a USA passport. He did inform me that they do process non USA passport photos, the photo requirements are often different; I suggest calling ahead to make sure the right person is there to take those photos.
