I cannot say enough positive words about MC movers. I decided to move very last minute. I found my new place on Tuesday of last week. I then called Cesar Wednesday and they were at my apartment Thursday morning at 8am. I did not have a moment to pack anything. Carlos then worked with me and got me a team of 5 guys to get me all packed up, moved out, and then into my new place all within the same day. The best part is it was stress free. Never once did I hear a complaint out of the guys. They were all positive, efficient, and more than willing to help get the job done. Do not look any further for movers and go with the full package. I made my appointment, than I forgot responded my text message to give to them my information. When I realized I didn't get appointment confirmed phone call before the move. Got my place moved professionally and quickly. I have a king size bed, huge dresser, large mirror, night stand, desk, chairs, and many boxes and suit cases. Cesar and his four people crew came 10 minutes early on the moving day. They were worked extremely hard to move my entire house full of furniture such as king, queen, twin beds, dressers, sofa set, etc and a baby grand piano. A week before the moving, they event gave me some new packing boxes for free. They worked from early morning to after dark. During the move, my staff won't fit for one truck, they called another truck to make another trip to pick up the whatever won't fit in. On the next couple days, I realized that I have huge plant which was left at the old place and I forgot asking it to be moved. I called MC Movers. I was told, "don't worry, we will take care of it". Sure, they did. They went out of their way to go back my old place, picked up the plant and delivered it to my front porch and did not charge me for any extra!!! Very happy with their services. They were fast and efficient, they were also very flexible with our move dates which went from a Friday to Saturday and finally being Sunday. It went quickly because we had everything packed with the exception of our TVs. They do charge more for TV wrapping since it's a fragile item as well for art. We just went with the TV wrap since it's very thin and we didn't save the original box. From reading other reviews I would say if you prepared for your move you will be fine, everything will be like their motto where you are "Relaxed while they are moving you" I was literally sitting on the couch the whole time. read more

First, it took forever to get the appropriate contract with the right quote amount. The contract specific the correct date and time on it however; I was called several times to confirm that the date and time was accurate. It was a little annoying however; it is better to be safe than sorry. On the day of the move, the movers were 45 minutes late. When I called, I was informed that they had the move down 9am however; it was clear on the contract that I signed it was 8am. This was extremely disappointing based on the number of times that they called to confirm. Please remember that they were late , they don't give any discounts or credits because of their mistake. I find that hard to accept. When the crew finally showed up, we walked through my place and I specifically told them what I needed moved and specifically told them NOT to touch the items on the walls as they are priceless to me however; apparently, they didn't listen to me because the removed items from the wall. This was very upsetting to me. The entire move was less than 1 hour 15 minutes which I had expected. I paid the 3 hour minimum however; I feel that I should have been credited for their lateness as well as their staff not listening to my instructions. It would be my recommendation that this company isn't used in the future by anyone. Updated due to owner comments (04/15/2019) Additional information that needs to be added to the review. Everyone was present when I specifically told them to leave the stuff on the wall. Additionally, the pictures in the master bedroom as well as the priceless saw was removed on specific instructions and the person who brought down the saw was there when the instructions were given. If someone wasn't there for specific instuctions it is the responsibility of the crew to inform that individual when they come on site thus still am major issue with the communication of the team members. No one from the team should have done anything from the foreman who was present during the walk thru. Based on the owner comments, there are excuses upon excuses. Please don't do business with this company. As for the time, I NEVER agreed to a 9am start. Nitzel has lied about the time however; it is a mute point because NO ONE should ever do business with them!! I was fully aware of the 3 hours minimum and I didn't have a problem with the 3 hour minimum however the company breached the contract that clearly states an 8am start thus should have corrected the situation immediately. Breaches in contract should be remedied however the owner has done nothing and I want nothing from a company that no one should do business with. read more

Mc movers did a fantastic job helping us in our move from San Jose to Mountain View. We were in a last minute situation and they had a team at our door within 3 hours of calling for an initial estimate!! Amazing!! We didnt have too much furniture wise to move but we had over a 100 boxes filled with our stuff and these guys rocked getting it done super efficiently plus the place we moved out of was on a second floor with stairs straight out of a nightmare and they didn't miss a step. Thanks to both of the Luis' and Camilo...they were our team along with Marco who i also want to thank for working with us on the price at the end and Nitzel who spoke with us initially over the phone to set it all up. You guys were the only ones out of a dozen or so calls we made that could get this done the same day and the price was very competitive too. The move was completed so two stars for that. One star I would like to extend to Nathan he was great; the other two could have stayed home. Between the constant warning about about non existent scoff marks on my floor as well as, running/wasting water in the bathroom to cover up whatever was going on in there, and the last minute nickel and dime tactic that a fourth guy maybe needed to move the couch before even attempting to move it up stairs I previously informed them about upon booking, I was done. I don't know how to even begin this...I've never posted a review because I've never felt terrific service has warranted one of these, nor have I ever received such horrific service that I felt this was deserved. That is until now. After my in person walk through I was told that it would take 7 if not even more hours, which was 4 hours longer than reality, to complete the move. But what could I do, I had thrown out my back 3 days prior to the move and didn't have enough time to set anything else up. In any case I was offered the "full service" which entailed showing up with all the moving materials, ie; boxes shrink wrap etc. Upon arrival I saw that they showed up with what would be roughly a 4 bedroom homes' worth of equipment. I only needed a one bedroom move. I felt severely overcharged, and taken advantage of as they new the situation I was in as. Then days after my boxes were delivered and I was able to move around again, I was shocked to see that the "full service" plan, which as advertised meant pack-up and re-setup, wasn't set up at all aside from the hanging clothes being rehung. I even found my kitchen equipment upstairs in the bedroom, and my bedroom equipment downstairs in the kitchen. 1 is a higher rating than is deserved. read more

We were very happy with the service overall. Scheduling, pricing discussions (along with transparency on the details), the walkthrough prior to the move and the quality of execution. All of it was excellent!! Prior to the move Marco (who is such a calming influence amidst all the moving madness!) came over to do a walkthrough to understand how much time, personnel and packing resources would be required for the day of the move. I wanted a flat rate estimate for moving some stuff from a storage and from my apt. to another apt. One of the two owners of MC Movers came to see the stuff I needed to move and gave me an estimate. We agreed to have them removed at an agreed price. I even added $50 as advance tip and incentive for showing up on time and doing a good job. The day before, I had all the stuff boxed up and organized in easy to carry packages. 3 of their movers showed up on the move day, but started bringing excuses about some items and didn't want to carry some of my stuff in the truck. That was not part of the agreement with the owner, but they argued and wanted to cancel the move. So, I ended up having to carry a few items they didn't want to move, with my car. Some of my stuff was to be picked up from a storage and some from my apt. and all of that was going to another apt. Once we got to the destination apt. the movers were in a rush to finish and leave quickly and didn't want to wait for me to even go quickly over what they had delivered. I didn't get a chance to inspect most of the stuff and they were in a rush to leave. I realized they had picked one of the boxes that was to stay in the storage, so I asked them to put it in my car (I am disabled and couldn't do it myself) but they refused. Despite already paying them more than what they asked for, first they refused to take all their boss had agreed to, and then refused to carry a box to put in my car (parked at a distance of 50 yards) Later I found out they had stolen two bags that contained irreplaceable documents and valuable items ($500+) I found that out a few days later when I sorted and organized the boxes, only because the two bags were distinct color and I noticed them missing. When I reported the bags missing the woman I was in touch with, Nietzel, denied they had stolen/not delivered my property, then she said their insurance would pay based on weight of items missing. It was hard to construct the weight of bags with missing items. But even after I came up with approximate weight based on what was I noticed was missing, Nietzel asked for videotape of missing bags! It appeared unless I caught them stealing they would deny that the bags had gone missing during a 3-4 hour move ... basically if you don't value your stuff and don't care if they steal it, they will do the move with lots of conditions, and then skim off some of your property while you are busy and stressed out from the move. MC Movers, and their rep, Nietzel, dragged this for more than 6 months and neither compensated for the theft, nor took my claim against their insurance for it. I will be reporting the matter to CPUC (California Public Utilities Commission: https://www.cpuc.ca.gov/General.aspx?id=4309 ) as a complaint about theft, denial of insurance, etc. If you value your belongings avoid MC Movers LLC. They pray on their customers in South San Francisco Bay Area. MC Movers deserve a negative 3, but since lowest number is 1, that's what they get. read more

EXTREMELY disappointed with this service!!! I even looked over most of the movers U-haul was offering and decided to go with MC Movers because of their score in relation to the # of reviews left. The (2) guys that showed-up couldn't/ wouldn't follow direction, I got the impression because the instructions weren't coming from another male that's why they were being ignored. They ended up breaking my double door refrigerator getting it out of the house (extent of damage wasn't completely known until a couple of days later.) Gave them the address to the new house told them I would meet them there, instead they followed me to my roommate's job, and then to top it all off they left my washing machine behind, the heaviest of the machines. They offered for me to drive the U-Haul truck back over there to pick it up but I would have had to pay for more time and extra mileage on the truck for their mistake. When I voiced my frustration on the entire situation I was reported as being rude and advised by the manager that I should have shown them appreciation for simply showing up. I have made several calls to the number who reached out to me asking how the move went and NO ONE will return my call regarding my broken refrigerator. Very happy with these guys. They were not our first choice, but one other was not available, and second one kept adding fees to the estimate and felt a bit shady. These guys were straight forward with fees, showed up on time, and, let me tell you, worked their butts off to move our million things. I'm always a bit apprehensive, when fees are charged hourly, because I have seen others procrastinate, dragging their feet. Not this time. These guys were amazing, so fast and efficient. Treated our stuff with care, wrapped furniture, helped with our incomplete packing.
